Over-RPGing-Blitzball

I was horrible at blitz ball. I've never won a game. My boyfriend is really good at it though. He tried to explain it to me, but I still didn't get it.

I thought it was a neat game though. I just can't play it.

the game itself is an RPG, so what do you expect? it was pretty easy to play IMO...

I don't mind it, but the gameplay is not my cup of tea...and it's damn hard to win that game against the goers...Kudos to those that have done it. I tried many a time and always came up painstakingly and swear-ladenly short.

Eh, I kind of liked them tinkering with it a little to make it more RPGish. It made it harder, but it was also interesting. If I wanted to play a straight up football game, I would play one of the FIFA or Pro Evolution titles.
