This really doesn't surprise me in the least bit. I could go downstairs with a pair of scissors and cut out at least half a dozen local newspaper articles containing similar stories. I'll admit--it takes balls to sell drugs through a drive-thru window at a Pizza Hut.

Honestly, I don't know why marijuana isn't legalized. In the US, tobacco products can be purchased at the age of 18. Alcohol can be purchased and consumed legally at the age of 21. To my understanding, alcohol accounts for more death and injury than pot does. It contributes to domestic violence, automobile accidents, and death resulting from poisoning. Tobacco products are highly addictive and are certain to cause health problems. Smoke some weed? Eat a lot of nachos as you watch re-runs of Muppet Babies. Even if weed is more hazardous to one's health than cigarettes and alcohol, it should still be up to the individual to decide if they want to risk using it.

Too many people get sent down shit creek just for smoking some pot. I have friends who have virtually no future after being caught with the stuff in their possession. Nice fellas who shouldn't have to have something so stupid follow them for the rest of their lives.

...and I didn't know Pizza Hut had a drive-thru! What a rip. I've been missing out.

The reason why alcohol is the cause of more vilont deaths, traffic accidents etc is that it is legal.

Weed isn't that bad, sure it's got lots of tar in it. However it doesn't turn you into a psychopath like P or PCP will. A couple of years ago some guy killed two people and chopped one guys arm off with a samurai sword because he was high on P. The effects of PCP are well documented. IT MAKES YOU GO BATSHIT INSANE.
With weed, you just laugh a hell of a lot more, plus you get high. Also weed is considerably cheaper than heroin, P, or meth. Therefore, to borrow a word from Tedius, it is less criminiferious. As people don't have to go around robbing and stealing just to pay for their addictions.

As to why weed is illegal.
Most governments have the belief that smoking weed leads to the consumption of harder drugs, like the ones already mentioned by cerri. Also Governments can't really be seen to be allowing drug use, it gives them a bad image. Also there is this stigma sttached to people who smoke. We are all supposedly 'stoners', mostly bad people, the kind of people the normal voter would cross the street to avoid. Of course this is complete and utter bullshit, however the boring people who never smoked feel they deserve some advantage for the great sacrifice they had to make. That's probably how they see it. However I feel I'm getting a little of topic

I just wanted to respond to the actual title of this thread:

That would be like me owning Wychovia and not depending upon falsified late fees for an extra 44% a year.

Well there is a big difference. Cigarettes and Alcohol do not contain hallucinogenic substances that destroy brain cells. Now it is proven that cigarettes and alcohol CAN cause liver, lung, and pancreatic cancers.

Sounds like you don't know your science very well. Marijuana itself has no hallucinogenic compounds, it is the chemicals people mesh it with that actual create the effect. I took 2 classes of Botany, so please, don't tell lies. Also THC does not destroy brain cells, it blocks the receptors. It never once can kill a brain cell unless laced.

Cigarettes are addictive as hell. I literally still want one every damn day. They are about the worst habit I've ever picked up. We all know what cigarette can cause of an over eventual term.

Alcohol is the worst habit. Most people are the closest to their death when binge drinking to be honest. If perhaps they took a muscle relaxer, their chances of dying in their sleep are very peek. Liver poison is the most common thing out there for people who drink copious amounts on the weekend.

I don't smoke mary jane for the sole reason it makes me lazy. It may not make other people lazy, but I just wouldn't go to work, wouldn't have a good job, and plus it would be way to costly in this economy.

Now on to the actual topic...

I think it is a comical approach to dealing. I honestly can't stand dealers and their shady ways, but hey people gotta make a living. I'm not one to judge unless they are doing this to children.

Hmm...well i don't see what's so wrong to be honest. He's doing his job AND making some extra cash at the same time. Nothing wrong with that. It's like working two jobs, he's just doing them at the same time. As for the whole Weed is bad for you argument, i don't know very many facts so I'll stay outta that line of fire. Though i will say this. Would you rather a friend smoke some tree or shoot up some dope (Heroin)?
