Final Fantasy is not meant to be a game where you can turn the insides out.
It's good as it is! They shouldn't change that. Some other company can make a rpg game that is similar to Final Fantasy. But has a bad character that play's the leading role.
I don't know if I'd go that far...I've always seen the FF series (& Square in general) as being fairly innovative & risk-taking...I mean, geeze, just look at how they made the first FF as their final gambit (wow, how different would history be if it was called Final Gambit? lol) in the first place..."It's good as it is" doesn't seem to be fitting to the FF series, if you ask me...
