Its about fucking time that they released a DECENT fifth-gen Pokemon - its not enough to restore my faith, but its a nice thing amongst nothing but bad news. I've got a little soft spot for the traditional Normal/Flying type that you can get right at the beginning of the game...since its a pigeon, I'm going to assume its common. Its so cute!

Wow this is so unique! Reshiram is Dragon/Fire and its ability is Turboblaze and Zekrom Is Dragon/electric and its ability is terra voltage. these new abilities sound awesome! and the types are epic also for the 2 macots.
 
I'm half and half with these...

Some of them I think are ok. The flaming ape looks quite interesting, but I've been out of the loop since Pokemon Silver so I'm not aware of all the other fire monkeys they have out there. Still I like the funny (and slightly mad and crazy) grin that this fire ape has.

The yellow and black crocodile looks quite good too, but I guess you could say that crocodiles have been done too.

I guess we just have to accept that most ideas have already been attempted. They're now just mixing similar ideas up in different ways and adding different elements to them. The mouse thing looks like Pikachu or Marill, but for normal type.

Those bolt looking things though look far too much like Magnemite etc.

I was wondering that too.

I don't think any of them are very bad, as it is sometimes hard to play God and create species without drawing too closely on Earth's animals. If you look at it this way there are many animals on this planet, but many species for each type of animal which look a bit / a lot different and may be better adapted to different climates.

Every now and then (not very often anymore) an entirely new type is found that blows people away as their imaginations couldn't make such an animal up.

I guess Pokemon is trying to do the same kind of thing, and it is hard not to. The Pokemon which are similar could be explained in this way, and that bouncy pink thing with flowers on its ass and underbelly could act as that new type that blows people away.

Not saying that bouncy pink flower will actually blow anyone away, but I'm just saying it is odd I guess. :hmmm:
 
Kangaskhan is a kangaroo pokemon lol. The new abilitys and some new attacks are interesting go to sere bii for some new attacks and abilities
 
Kangaskhan is meant to be a kangaroo. His name is a mixture of kangaroo and Genghis Khan, the latter being why he is muscled and very aggressive and scary.

It might be nice to have a slimmer looking kangaroo pokemon one day, but then that would essentially just be a kangaroo. Perhaps if they paint it blue then they could get away with it. They could call it Kangablu.

I want a Koffing prevo. Choking. If I get that, I'll stop slagging off the fifth gen. I promise. Just something as awesome as that would justify all the other crap they've been giving us. Even that disgusting chinchilla.

I'd also like see Dunspace evolve. Something that looks like Jhen Mohran...just so that its not quite so useless and pathetic. And because they couldn't possibly make a Dunsparce evo more ugly than Tangrowth, Magmortar or Lickilicky. At least, this is my hope...

I wonder what the gen "OMFGitsadragonletshypeitupbeyondallreasoning" dragon is going to be like...I'd like to see something Chinese. Some small, cute worm-looking thing that turns into a monstrous Chinese Dragon.

We've already had the standard "disgusting mutant fox" for this generation though, and looking at that thing, I don't place much hope on the other Pokemon being much better...but I still think the pidgeon is cute. XD
 
The whole 4th generation I was always trying to master my fav pokemon regigigas,it was pretty hard to do so and and at the end I get the message that its not that amazing in battle, currently my main is regice, it rules!

For this generation I wanna get my hands on a legend thats not difficult to master like regigigas, a legend with 580 base stat or over would be ok,like regice(who wasnt a pain to master).

I love pokemon. I am currently trying(not succeeding) to make my own on ADVANCE MAP. I can't wait for the new game. I'm probably going to get white because of the black legendary.
 
I am going to get Pokémon Black for the White Legendary. :wacky:

And I am hopeful those legendaries won't be the only decent Pokémon of the 5th generation. >.>
 
Cant wait for this one to come out. I havent played a pokemon since Leaf Green. 0.o Im gonna have to borrow a DS for about 2 weeks when this comes out, cause im not buying another one!

I just google translated Lily and it says Yuri.

Also google translated Aragi and it translates to Aragi.. meaning.. untranslatable. :monster:
