Danny groaned. He was lost. He turned a corner and groaned louder. Dead end
"Maaaaan there must be some way!" He punched the wall and by mistake somehow destroyed the wall "Umm... oops." He smiled. behind the walla was a large pedestal. He walked up to it. The gloves! They were black but seemed to have some sort of ethereal glow to them. He went to pick them up.
RAWRRR!!
Oh. Shit. Danny thought. He jumped up and felt the air being cut underneath him. He spun in the air and he saw the beast. It was humongous and had 3 heads.
He landed nimbly. "Who are you and what are you!" Danny demanded
The monster reared up on its legs and roared
"I am the one known as Cerberus. I am a Guardian Force. I am here to test your abilities. Defeat me in combat and I shall be yours to control." A millisecond after it finished speaking it attacked once more. Danny rolled to the right and heard the ground break where he was standing a moment ago. He jumped upwards and felt the Cerberus' breath on his skin. he aimed a punch and hit the beast strongly in the head. It reared backwards Danny landed on its back. He hadn't expected what happened next. Cerberus' tail whipped upwards and hit him squarely in the back. It's entire body was a weapon! He fell forward and and almost fell off and cursed when he didn't but instinct grabbed hold of him and he grabbed its ear. He fell forward in front of its mouth. he fell into the open mouth and felt the beast try to cruch him. Danny braced himself and lifted both his hands. He only just managed to stop the teeth killing him. He lifted with all his strength and opened it enough to jump out. He jumped and grabbed hold of the ears again. he spun in the air and kicked Cerberus in the eyes of its left head. He spu once more grabbed both the left and right head and slammed them into the centre. He fell. He landed on the ground and felt the beast claw his back. He shouted in agony. He kneeled but then jumped up and in rage charged at the beast and unleashed all his energy. After the onslaught the GF stood
"You fought well. I now have the honour of calling you mine master." It then dissapeard but somehow Danny knew he could summon him. He picked up the gloves, took off his own (they were his lucky gloves so he put them in his back pocket, and slipped them on. He looked to the place where Cerberus had been and spotted 2 glowing orbs. He picked them up.

Danijel: ''BUSHFIRE!!'' (nothing happens) ''ABSORB!!'' (nothing happens) ''...''

Danijel couldn't do any magic and now he had to fight physically. He charges at Spike and Hentar. But then Hentar casted another Dark spell. It hitted Danijel right into the air. Then Spike jumped again, and in midair he says...

Spike: ''Lets land!''

Spike swing the spear at Danijel. Danijel quickly uses the sword to defend himself, but as the spear hitted Danijel was falling quickly. But not on ground... Danijel saw Hentar right below him. Danijel turned in midair to land on feet, and fell straight on Hentar's belly. As trampoline Danijel was send again in air, at Spike that was still in air.

Danijel: ''Now we can land!''

Danijel hits Spike, with fist in head, and sits on his back. they two were falling and landed on Hentar. Danijel got off Spike's back, and walked few steps from them. Both of them got up, and sheathed they're weapons.

Spike: ''Grrr, we shall meet later.''

Spike and Hentar went running. Then materia on Danijel's sword glowed. then two words came to Danijel's mind: Aqua Breath and Magic Hammer.
Danijel went from the place he fough Spike and Hentar.

After a few hours Damon arrived at a strange castle, it had strange towers surrounding it which must be some kind of defensive mechanism, the castle itself was jet black and spooky, it enemated a strange sense of awe and fear in Damon.

Damon: so, is this the castle?

Gilgamesh: why of course it is!

X-death: follow my servant up to my quarters, from there you will be given a proposition

Damon: what kind of proposition?

X-death: you will find out soon enough

Damon: fine.....

Gilgamesh: follow me...

Damon followed Gilgamesh across the castle corridors and eventually came to a dead end

Damon: now what?
 
"Woooo hooooooooo!" Danny shouted as he jumped from ledge to ledge on his way back down from the mountain. He jumped far and grabbed onto a ledge with one hand. He tried to get his other hand on but slipped and fell down. He kicked off the walla and grabbed another ledge but he had scraped his arm and it was bleeding badly
"Crap." He jumped the last few metres and made the ground. He headed back to Garden
 
"Ah young Chris. I was told you would joining me."
A well dressed man sat down at a dinner table opposite of the door. This must have been the emperor the strangers told Chris about.
"You must have some questions for me, like how do I know who you are? But let me start by introducing myself. I am Emperor Gestahl. And as to why I know you. Cid has told me that you seek to defeat the sorceress. You see that it is my goal to do the same. But before we move onto business, you must be hungery. Have a seat."
Gestahl point to an empty chair at the end of the table. Chris walked over hesitantly and sat down.
"You have nothing to worry about child, I am not here to cause any harm. I only wish to enlist your help."
A platter of food was placed in front of Chris and he ate in silence. When he was finished Gestahl clapped his hands together. A couple of servents came and cleared the plates and left. The room was now empty except for Chris and the Emperor.
Gestahl gave a gentle smile."Now it's time for business."
 
Then suddenly he heard a ship horn. He went to the docks running. When he finally arrived there was a big ship docked there. One a man came out and Danijel went to him asking...

Danijel: ''Is this ship going to Ivalice?''

Man: ''Yes, this ship transports chocobos all around the world, we now stopped hear for supplies.''

Danijel didn't dare to ask what are chocobos so he just says...

Danijel: ''Well can I get on the ship? I only need to go to continent of Ivalice.''

Man: ''Well you can go if you do the feeding of chocobos. Next stop is Lindblum in Gaia and then Balfonheim Port in Ivalice.''

Danijel: ''Well OK, lets get starting.''

Man: ''You can get in the ship now, I'll go to get supplies.''

Danijel enters the chocobo transport ship.
 
A flash of dark light surrounds the castle and when the room is viewable again it is seen in a strange alien-like view, the walls appeared alive and breathing and looked rather slimy

Damon: what the hell is this!?

Gilgamesh: calm yourself! this way leads to X-death's chambers

Damon: hey! what's going on!?

Gilgamesh: just taking a shortcut

Damon: whoa!

suddenly a bright light surrounds Damon and when he can see again he is before Gilgamesh and a man clad in dark armour and bearing a lerge greatsword

Damon: so.... you must be X-death
 
"Hey Xu!" Danny shouted as he saw her when he entered the Garden

"Oh hey Danny. The Headmaster told me to come fetch you when you're back" She smiled. "I take it you passed then huh?"

"Heh heh yeah" He stepped forward and winced

"What's wrong?" Xu asked him but the problem was evident. She sighed "Cast! Cura!" Immediately Danny sw the white erupt from her hnd and wrap itself around Danny. He tried to resist but it all of a sudden made him feel great.

"Wh-What was that?" Dnany asked unbelieving

"Magic silly" Xu turned to him "Let's go then huh?"

"Sure. Umm Hey Xu... Do you wanna go catch a movie someday?"
She giggled
"Sure. But first lets go see Cid."
 
The time was passing and Danijel was doing chores on ship. He couldn't wait till they arrive to Lindblum. Danijel wents out to the deck to look around. The waves were big and ship was going up and down. Danijel went immediately inside the ship to avoid sea sickness. But then he spots captain and sailor talking. Danijel hides to hear what they're saying.

Captain: ''How much till we're at Lindblum?''

Sailor: ''One more hour, we should see the land soon. But captain, is it true that he started invading open seas.''

Captain: ''Yes it is.''

Captain sighs and turns it head to look at the sea.

Captain: ''The nightmare of all people. Created thousand years ago just because of human stupidity. We can only wish that he doesn't attack us.''

Sailor: ''Why did he started to invade open seas.''

Captain: ''Cause many people from port cities started moving out from Spira. And that creature doesn't want them to escape.''

Danijel was shocked and confused. Whats the monster killing the people and how come he was created thousand years ago.

Damon: what do you want?

X-death: straight to the matter then? simply put, I want your knowledge

Damon: my.... knowledge, why?

X-death: you have the knowledge of the portals, do you not?

Damon: not really, I only passed through one by accident

X-death: it matters not, you must have something on you, something that may be of use?

Damon: like what exactly?

X-death: a weapon, a weapon that can destroy all beings

Damon: excuse me? what makes you think that?

X-death: you came from another world, you must have some kind of technology that is beneficial

Damon: er.... no I don't, and why would I?

X-death: fine, if you will not barter your knowledge freely I guess I have no choice...

X-death leaves the room but whispers something to Gilgamesh on the way

Gilgamesh: well, I guess it is down to me to sort you out eh?

Damon: what? you mean a....fight?

Gilgamesh: hell yeah! prepare to die!

Damon: I don't wanna do this..... but I guess I have no choice!

Damon drew his blades and Gilgamesh drew his polearm

Gilgamesh: well, pity I have to take on a wuss like you!

Damon: what did you say?

Gilgamesh: you heard me!

Damon: that's it!

Damon jumps forward and prepares a sideways slash, aimed at Gilgamesh's side
 
An hour has passed and ship has finally docked at Lindblum. Sailors have starting leaving the ship with big yellow birds, chocobos. Danijel was also leaving when captain stopped him saying...

Captain: ''Remember, we are leaving Lindblum this evening. We are gonna stay longer for Festival of the Hunt.''

Danijel: ''Aye, aye sir!''

Danijel left the ship and entered Serpent's Gate. There two mobile vehicles on tracks stopped there. Danijel didn't know which one to use he asked a guard...

Danijel: ''Excuse me, which that mobile thingies should I use to get to the town?''

Guard: ''Use the left one to get to elevator that leads to Lindblum castle. Take it to the 1st floor and continue down the hall. You'll be at the airdock then go down the stairs to get on air transporters (Forgot the names).''

Danijel got onto the left vehicle and it started moving automatically. moment later Danijel was at place where the elevator was. Danijel got onto it and went for the first floor. then as he arrived he saw a line just next to the fountain. There was also a guard and he asked him...

Danijel: ''What is this line for?''

Guard: ''This line is for registering for Festival of the Hunt.''

Danijel: ''Oh, thanks. I think I might apply for it.''

Danijel stands behind the line registering line. 30 minutes later finally it was Danijel's turn to register. As he approached the man, the man says...

Register: ''Sorry kid, this isn't a game.''

Danijel: ''Well consider again. AQUA BREATH!!''

Danijel aims with his mouth on ceiling and water started to come out from it. Register was astounded so he wrote Danijel's name in the book and says...

Register: ''Astounding! well then you're signed up. You are starting at Industrial District and you can take aircabs to get to Theater or Business. Just say what do you want for prize in case you win?''

Danijel: ''Well a sword would be nice.''

Register: ''Ok then, you can rest at Inn for now, regent will announce when you have to go to your starting district.''

Danijel without answer leaves the room, passes through airdock to outside and takes the aircab.
 
Gilgamesh easily parried the blow with his polearm and aims a slash at Damon's legs but Damon manages to dodge this with a jump and lands on the flat of the blade.

Gilgamesh: get off!

Damon: not likely!

Damon then aimed a stab at Gilgamesh's torso which obviously hit due to him being defenceless.

Gilgamesh: *spits blood* Damn you kid! Haste! Safe! Shell!

Damon: what?

Gilgamesh then pulls the blade from under Damon's feet knocking him to the floor and hen puts the polearm blade to his neck.

Damon: how the hell did you do that!?

Gilgamesh: magic!

Damon: oh my god.....

Gilgamesh: will you surrender the information?

Damon: I don't have any!

Damon then kicked Gilgamesh in the lower torso, forcing him to stagger back and Damon then jump slashed again at Gilgamesh's side and when Gilgamesh attempts to parry Damon knocks the polearm out of his grasp.

X-death: Gilgamesh!

Gilgamesh: uh oh.....

X-death: hoiw dare you fail me.... and lose to of all people a boy?

Gilgamesh: er..... I guess sorry doesn't cut it?

X-death: that's it! N-zone!

Gilgamesh: no! not the N-zone! AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH

Gilgamesh slips into the N-zone and disappears

X-death: well then, now it is your turn....

Damon: guess again!

Damon runs forward and lunges at X-death but is easily knocked to the floor by X-death's greatsword

Damon: what?

X-death: you thought I would be as easily defeated as that fool Gilgamesh?

Damon: oh..... no
 
An hour later Danijel was resting in the room in Inn. Then he was awoken by a knock on the door. He opens it and sees a guard standing.

Guard: ''The festival will soon start, be in you're aircab till you hear regent's words. Then aircab will start moving at Industrial District. If you finished up there you can take aircab to another district.''

Danijel: ''Ok, then. I'll wait in aircab.''

Guard left and so did Danijel. He climbed down the stairs and went outside the Inn. The aircab station was just across the street so he went there. As he get inside two aircabs were waiting there. He sat on the second one and waited there 'till regent's words.
