Simple: Do you use Mac OS or Windows?

Once you vote, you can elaborate on what type exactly, you use.

Simple poll. ^^

I'll start. At school, I use Windows XP, and at home I use Windows Vista.

Simple Windows XP
Vista is crap, and Mac never used.

I use Windows. Although it's a pain sometimes(given the constant virus intruders).

Edit: Mac confuses me. :neomon: So XP it is.

I have used MAC for half a year. Really liked it, but needed windows for some school stuff.
Still I prefer Linux more than Mac, because if I would be searching for easy using, I would be using Windows. And in terms of speed and beauty, Linux Ubuntu wins Mac, but sadly Linux is even more complicated than Mac and also runs less programs without hours of hacking.
I used Linux Ubuntu for a year, but it eventually bored me when I had to hack for hours to run a simple game or a program I needed at school. So now I am back at Windows Xp.

I've been brought up using Windows and I can't find my way around Mac computers. Their layout just seems to inconvenient and always function less efficiently in anything that I do, so I've had to go for Windows.

This thread would be better suited to Computing & Technology, so I'll move it there.

I've always preferred Windows; the layout and simplicity of using it. Pretty much 90% of my games and emulators are Windows-compatible only, so the only thing I could use is the internet. I have both Vista and XP, but I still prefer the latter. Never used Linux. :monster:

Windows for me as well. Every computer I've ever used has had it, so I've gotten really used to using it. I really want a Mac though, but all of the work I need to do for school requires windows, so I doubt I'm going to get one.

Definitely Windows. I recently got Windows Vista and surprisingly enough, I actually like it better than XP. At first I was a little iffy about it, but it's seriously so professional-looking and I love that about it. I thought it would be so different from XP and although there are some differences, I don't think it's nothing big.

The only thing that irks me sometimes is that whenever I try to do something to my computer in general, it won't let me. Something about not granting me permission, which is frustrating because I AM the administrator account. It's probably just trying to protect the computer and make sure no one does anything stupid that can harm the system overall, but still.

Linux. OpenSuSE specifically.

I dual boot with Vista, but use Linux 98% of the time. I tried OS X briefly, but I didn't particularly care for it. I feel like people confuse 'simple' with 'limited' when it comes to OS X.

Windows xp for the forevers!

Don't get me wrong, i don't have a problem with macs, but i just prefer to use xp because i am more familiar with it and all of it's inside stuff. Networking a mac is a lot harder than networking a pc with xp on it, so i stick to what i know.

I use Windows XP, I don't mind Mac OS X though. Mac OS X was a little confusing at first but it's pretty easy to get used to, I still prefer XP though. I've never tried Linux before, but I've heard that it is a pretty good OS.

Mine would have to be Windows Vista. I use XP on my labtop and Vista on my home comp and I definately prefer Vista over XP. It's a great OS no matter what stupid complaints people have about it.
