Nintendo Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright Game

That's right! You heard it! Level 5 and Capcom are joining together to make a Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright crossover game!

I heard about this last night and so far I have high hopes for the game to be good. Let us pray it actually comes outside of Japan though. In the meantime I have to get around to catching up on the Professor Layton series before I can even think about picking this up. So yes, awesome news.

Same here. I've played through and beaten all the Gyakuten Saiben games, but I still haven't finished the Professor Layton games, yet. I really need to, though. Those games were fun. Also, now that I think about it, this is probably what Fusionist was thinking about when she heard there was going to be a Phoenix Wright anime.

Oh wow. For all i care, this can be a movie XD. looks very interesting. i was a fan of both games, but i do like PW better tho. and he so does not look conspicuous in his blue suit amongst the olden clothes. at least layton fitted in

i read this this morning on IGN... i laughed at first but then i through .... this might be a good game

i did the same when i heard about dissidia 2

Eh. Sadly at this point I think this is the closest we're getting to an anime. Even still it looks like it will bean epic crossover. As I said, we just have to hope it gets released outside of Japan. Although now I really have to know when Apollo is going to get his sequel. Phoenix is staring in this game, Edgeworth has GK2/AAI2, and Apollo has nothing.

well everyone loved edgeworth. Apollo.... i didnt really quite like. I was waiting like hell for the next PW appearance. I was a bit miffed how they sorta killed the series with the Apollo thing.

ah... good ol edgy. i kinda also like the new girl, the maya of Edgeworth's game. the games brilliant, but my first edgeworth game glitched on me T,T im on the alst mission too near the middle.

I was quite amused by this when it was announced a few days ago. However, I can't help but ponder exactly how compatible these two different styles will fit together. The trailer looks really nice though. The medieval-Renaissance style suits Layton well, although Phoenix looks like he's been thrusted into a world he doesn't belong in as well.

I am not big on Phoenix Wright but this does look interesting. It does look like an anime movie as someone said above. I know about the PW games because of "Objection!" xD. One of my friends plays it and it is interesting stuff. Phoenic looks like he just went back in time though. That blue suit all the time

I'm a huge Phoenix Wright fan (It's actually the sole reason I paid for a Nintendo DS in the first place) and I'm still trying to find the other Phoenix Wright games so I can play them too. However I never heard of this other series before...

I've never played any Layton games, but I really enjoy the Ace Attorney series-and I've been missing Nick ;A;

I'm really interested to see how puzzle and investigation will match up here.
