Playstation PS3 Game Suggestions

I plan on getting the Assassin's Creed game, the new one, for PS3. All the others I have played are on the Xbox, and they don't look very good. xD

I was looking at Folklore. What's it like? Is it like Lord of the Rings? Or Dragon Age?

Practically the entire OST is vocal, and of the same quality, although
One of the best things about NieR is that you don't have to replay the entire game to get the multiple endings, as well: you start halfway through it, and more gets added as well.

Drakengard was this batshit insane PS2 game where you got to fly around on a dragon and fight on the ground...there was a sequel, but it wasn't as good, because it actually made sense. The original Drakengard is connected to NieR by the fourth ending. It just helps piece a few things together. xD

If you're having issues with parents and can't get GoW or Dante's Inferno, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes would more than satisfying your need for a game where you just kick the living crap out of everything. It's wholesale massacre on a considerably larger scale, only without the excessive blood. It has multiple characters and stages...it also has a two-player mode, which is nice. xD

Thanks for the other game suggestions. I know I'll be able to get Castlevania, its a game that's always been a house favorite. Even my mother likes it xD

And yes, parents. I'm surprised I was allowed to get GTA games, but maybe I can get a yes. It is my money and I am 18. lol

If you were a fan of FFXII, I'd suggest waiting for White Knight Chronicles II to come out (next week) and get that. It comes with a tidied-up version of the first one, and its very reminiscent of FFXII...not quite as good (/bias) but still fairly enjoyable. Since the second one picks up from where the first left off, I'd imagine it is more of the same thing~

FFXII? I love that game! Anything like it will win my heart, that's for sure. Since its coming out next week, I'll have to wait a bit on it. It will be very expensive. But I will always have Gamefly while I save up money xD

Thanks for the new game suggestions, Lezard! The Drakengard game pulled the right strings to my heart. There are only three things I love in a story: Final Fantasy VI (lol), dragons and wolves. And I am obsessed with them!

I only mentioned it because of the link to NieR, but I'd totally recommend getting it if you've got a PS2 or are getting an older PS3 model, you should be able to pick it up extremely cheap, and its immense fun. Plus the localisation didn't do a very good job of hiding the things it wanted to, making it all the more entertaining. xD

Beware, though; its not like any other Castlevania game. Thankfully its a lot better than previous 3D Castlevania games, but its still in a completely different style. But the storyline is fairly good, the gameplay is good in that it can be played in short bursts and you can revisit areas, and the soundtrack for it is pretty awesome as well. I think you'd enjoy it if you're a fan of the series, and the little twist at the end promises more to come~

WKC doesn't have as good a storyline as FFXII, but it has a similar real-time ATB system that received some improvements with the second instalment...which I think is one of the reasons an improved version of the first comes with the second. xD
