Psp

I've had my psp for a long time now(don't remember how long)
And it's worth it for sure.

-If you like FF games, then you have the 2 FF games and CC coming out(looks like a must have)
-If you like fps, then you have medal of honor heroes(got incredible 32 players online in a match at the same time)
-If you like hack and slash games, there is Dynaste warriors or untold legends.
-If you like racing games, there's more than enough of that.
-If you like sports games, you have football games, basketball games and more.
-If you like odd, but fun games, locoroco is a must have :P
-If you like arcade fighting style games, buy tekken.
-If your a metal gear solid fan, they are/have created a new one(that's not card based, like the other ones)
-If you want to learn how to speak another language, get Talkman
-If you like old arcade games, there's some arcade collections.
-If you like big gaming worlds, you can get gta.

Here are some other cool things the psp can do:
-work as an mp3 player
-can watch videos
-can go on the internet
-you can get some camera tool for it and take pictures
-show images
-play flash games
-use emulators
-constantly new updates available if you wish to download them
-use it as a wakeup clock(not sure how, saw a video about it)
-can connect it with your ps3(if you have one ofc :P)
-download wallpapers. So that your psp is a tiny bit unique.
-download demos of some psp titles
-hook it up to your pc(if you have a psp usb cable)
-supports headset

can't remember all of it at the moment, hope this helps :)

Yeah, it's totally worth it, the games are great and i was actually on these forums last night in bed on my PSP.
Me and my freinds play GTA:VCS online and its great.
Really is a must buy, plus, those FF games look rightgeous :)

a PSP worth getting, no way, i stay with home consoles and that is that

That's your choice. I wanted a handheld to entertain me on the way to university (three hours traveltime every day) and my parents surprised me with a PSP. It's great portable entertainment. Sure, everything it does my laptop can do better, but it's easy to take with me and I can do whatever I want in 30 seconds.

Not to say I wouldn't have liked to have a DS. I'd like to have a DS, but I happened to get a PSP.

Hotel Dusk: Room 215
Lost in Blue
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Mario Hoops 3-on-3
Mario Kart DS
Meteos
New Super Mario Bros

Trauma Center: Under the Knife

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates
Final Fantasy Tactics A2
It's a Wonderful World
Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass

Also any GBA game made which would expand the possibilities by a fair bit.

It was a tough decision for me, but i picked the DS over the psp. I didn't really see any worth while games on it. Yeah, all of the extra features are nice and all, but i already have an ipod. Now that CC is on the way i will probably get one eventually.

Well it is a hard choice and all of you have put up great arguments for it but i think that my finally choice is that i well eventually get both starting with the DS. because of the more games, sorry PSP fans

No need to apologize, people who buy products they don't really like because of peer pressure are idiots.

Well I like the PSP cause I use it for school as an MP3 player and also its also cool cause u can play NES,SNES,And Gen and more.I would recommend the PSP since it is better than the DS but then the DS has some better games than the PSP so its kind of hard to decide which is better.

Here is a website for ppl that have a PSP and want an emu on it.

PSP-Hacks.com

I'd definitely say get a PSP :) They've got far better games IMO than the DS. The DS seems as if it's aimed more at the Japanese market to me, and the differnece in sales figures shows this. Still, the PSP has better games. Fight Night 3 is an addicting game, as is Infected. Soon there'll be Crisis Core too, and a number of other FF titles. Plus the PSP is going to have the ability to link up with the PS3 to download games onto it.

well mostly every nintendo game will aim for kids and some adults but like sony and microsoft try to go for adults with there games. But i like both the DS and PSP but i just perfer playing the psp i play the GTA's on it.Onthe DS I play super mario bros or some other games i might like.

I bought a second hand one from Gamestation for £100 with discount and the bestt hing was it was brand new! It was worth every penny. Its great for holidays and travelling. The range of USDs isnt great, but Father Ted and Advent Children keep me entertained! The games are great also and because its mulit regional, thats just as good.

Blame the person who decided to post in this thread after his decision was made. But yeah, DS is better then the PSP. Its great to interact with the games.
