Why is it that when I post my count doesn't go up? I have a total of 2 posts but that's from when i created my own threads, but when I post on another topic it doesn't change.

Probably because you're posting in a forum that doesn't give a post count. Midgar and Spira don't give post counts.

DISCLAIMER: I may be wrong. Does anyone else know if Spira gives a post count?

But anyway, that's probably what your problem is.
