Quotes that made you think....

Didn't see a thread like this... soo...

I didn't know where to put this so I threw it into Midgar for now...
But I was wondering was there any quote from any book, movie, game, tv show, anime, or even a quote you said. That just really touched you or made you think about anything around you?

For me there were a couple quotes... and they come from the anime Code Geass... and a couple From Final Fantasy X. and a couple from Kingdom Hearts series.. but I wont list them all just a couple for now and explain why.

The one from Code Geass I chose was " As I expected. You both believed that this new world you envisioned would be best for all. But forcing good intentions on others is no different from an evil act." This one made me think that even with the best of intentions in mind, is it right to force your "good intentions" on others? It made me wonder, is this what politics and religion do?


The one From Final Fantasy X I chose was From Yuna "I will live with my sorrow, I will live my own life! I will defeat sorrow, in his place. I will stand my ground and be strong. I don't know when it will be, but someday... I will conquer it. And I will do it without... false hope"

This made me wonder When I played this game, I was feeling so down at the time (firs ttime i played it i mean) All I Did was play this game to zone out of my own life... this game was my "false hope" I guess... but this game also made me face reality... is it sad a game quote made me snap back to reality?

In Kingdom hearts series I chose a quote by Sora "The heart may be weak, and sometimes it may even give in. But I've learned that deep down, there's a light that never goes out!"

This quote was one that made me think of humans true intentions are we suppose to be "light" or "darkness" good or bad? Or are we just born to never really know...
