Excellent start and I like the instrument work in here, but the lyrics behind it all really don't stand out to me any more than another parting-of-ways type song of the genre. As I said; good instruments though and it kicks off better than most. Also; props for having the mood come across as distraught without the usual betrayal/wrath bit.

There's singing talent there, but my big annoyance with Evanescence is that practically every song of "Fallen" is the same thing. Haunted was fun though.

I guess this isn't very fair as I am a huge Oingo Boingo fan. Danny Elfman and the rest of the band are really quirky and energetic and their sound is very unique. I love them, and Private Life is a good song, but not my favourite from them.
