Cerden couldn’t help but just laugh mockingly at this girl(who looked like a boy). Before she could even finish her sentence, she realized that Cerden was a foot senior of her height. And for someone that little to be so loud definitely is laughing worthy. Without the girl knowing, Cerden gave her a little look to see what she was, and how exactly someone that small could boast so loudly. However, before Cerden could do that, she spoke, and loud at that.
"I'm NOT a boy! I AM A GIRL!"
Cerden was about to respond to that, but he decided to wait until she was finished speaking, and by the time she was able to reach the end of her talk, she realized that Cerden was taller than her. Her words then became partially stuttered.
*"A-an-and...I'll h-have you know..."*She suddenly became flustered.*"...that they a-already helped me out!"*
Cerden said nothing. His body did not move, but the only thing that did happen was a burst of laughter out of his mouth. One might say that it was even louder than this girl’s loud tone. “Please, these snobs wouldn’t help a bo--girl like you. Especially if you don’t know how to ask properly. .” Cerden said as his laughter eased up allowing his words to be heard clearly, but still his laughing kept up for a while longer.
"Y-you should learn to mind your own beeswax, o-old man!!!"*
The laughter stopped. Cerden’s left eye began to twitch in an anger manner. Gary had noticed this a few times when someone called him an old man. Knowing this, Gary ducked his head, and prepared for full-on rage-fit from Cerden.
Picking up this little girl by her baggy clothes, Cerden turned her body to face him. “Listen here little girl, I’m not old; just at an age that I look old, but I’m not.” Cerden said right up to her face. It was so close that you could smell the ale trailing from his breath, and onto anybody nearby. “Now as for your ‘so-called’ meeting with the King, you’re going to have to wait. I’ve traveled quite a ways to deliver some stupid-ass jewel to this snob king.” Cerden said asserting his dominance.
“So, now I’m going to let you down. And when I do, you better scram, or my Gryphon and yourself will get a chance to get friendly.” Cerden said appointing that Gary would ‘handle” the girl if she got smart.
After putting the girl down, Cerden proceeded to the front desk and simply waited until the guards came back.
