Do you remember when Pluto was a planet? Or when everyone did the macarena? The Lewinsky Scandal? Furbies? Tomagochis? Britney Spears, back when everyone was in awe of her along with Christina and the Spice Girls? The New Kids on the Block?

There is so much I miss about the 90's. What do you miss?

Arnold Schwarzenegger being an action hero, the real Ronaldo, Mike Tyson being the most explosive boxer in recent memory, Final Fantasies being good...

When Wispa's weren't around anymore. :gasp: and I probably fainted, why did they go away for so long. Why!? Why!?

I miss the non-political Arnold! And yes I remember the good ffs, back when square-enix was still square soft! And Mike Tyson! He was epic! EVERYone knew his name! Ronaldo I don't remember sadly.

Everyone knew the MJ scandals. And also the Nick shows, (I was a kid at the time) "Are You Afraid of the Dark", "Rocket Power", and "Rugrats". Along with Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

I definitely miss Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Alex Mack! =0

They're probably the main two that I really missed until the end of last year when I went out and bought the DVD boxsets for both. XD

Though they still need seasons 2-4 for Alex Mack on DVD. >.<

I totally remember the day that I was told that Pluto was not a planet. We used to rehearse this song in class in order to remember all the nine planets and then they took Pluto away. =0

And OMG Furbies! I had one called Tulu. =( I think I gave her to my sister. >.<

Tomagochis! I nearly bought one the other day...or one similar. >.<

Old All That. Not the new crappy version. The Show Doug. Rocko's Modern Life. Salute your Shorts. Hey Dude, What would you do, Legends of the Hidden Temple. My brother and Me

Cup Cake dolls <3 and pogs. lol I remember buying tons at the comic book store.

And I was the biggest Spice Girl fan ever...

Polly pockets...not that I had any :ahmed:

pogs xD... who remembers gogos? I loved gogos :x3:

I miss the $%#@!% awesome music :gasp: I feel so old now when I hear bands like Toad the Wet Sprocket on the radio at the supermarket. And I go around saying "OMG it's that song I love this song!" and start singing along with it and nobody knows what the hell I'm talking about :sad3:

And I miss there being music on VH1 and MTV (Video Hits 1 and Music Television) :mokken: And Beavis and Butt-head. I would even watch Daria now if they put it back on, even though I was only a semi-fan back then.

The thing I most remember for the 90s was the war in Kosova. I came home from school at half day as it was the last school day of the year, and there was a war on the TV. Being 8 I think, I was very excited, however I found the coverage quite boring.

Okey, you can't mention Are You Afraid of the Dark without mentioning Goosebumps. What's your issue,,?
However I do love those all.

I miss the $%#@!% awesome music

Marcy Playground.. hangin' round.. downtown by myself and I had too much caffeine.. and I was thinkin' 'bout myself.

To SimplySabra though, the Pluto thing was so not from the 90's. Pluto's excommunication from the planet club was like.. what a year ago?

Oh and this. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2009/03/090311-pluto-planet-illinois.html

I love.

I smell sex and candy here...:hmmm:

How about the Gin Blossoms :gasp:
Tomorrow we can drive around this town, and let the cops chase us around, the past is gone but somethin' might be found to take its place...Hey Jealousy...

I also miss everything not costing so much money, like when you used to pay more like $2 for a bag of your favorite candy instead of $5 -__-

Oh dear, after reading this thread I went to youtube and listened to Hanson's MMMbop. Sad thing is, I didn't like Hanson back in the 90's XD.

Then I went to listen to the Spice Girl's Wannabe.

But who was a fan of Backstreet boys for N*Sync? I only liked N*Sync because everyone else liked them XD. There was also the Kids Choice Awards every year hosted by Rosie O'Donnel. (Before she annoyed us all XD) And an your favorite celebrities getting slimed.

And Stick Stickly!

Oh, I remember my N64
the console war of the n64 and ps1
3-d video games
furbies, i got one, and it would not shut up
all those great shows, doug, rocko, hey arnold, ect
90s were a great time to be a kid
oh, in the US, NO RECESSION

I miss everything, maybe cause then I had nothing to worry about and I was happy living my life.No responsibilies back then(I was pretty young) and I think the people were more kind at that time. Now they've become more isolated and with all this technological advances we cannot enjoy a think cause it keeps improving fast and we have to keep up with it.It's funny how life has become so fast-paced.

90's cartoons. All of them. (And even going back a bit further, 80's cartoons - Thundercats!) Kid's toys that didn't have to be politically correct or so completely mediocre as to avoid any kind of potential offense at all. Kid's tv that wasn't lifeless and/or surreal to the point of pointlessness. Remember when superheroes were super?

Goddamn I miss Reboot.

Apart from the late 90's I don't remember a whole lot about it to be honest. One thing I do remember though, is all those horrible horrible European plastic pop bands like Ace of Base, Aqua, S Club 7, and Venga Boys. That part of the 90's I do not miss at all! :D

Being young, so I can take my education seriously!! I miss not having to worry about anything such as bills. TV shows like Kenan & Kel, ZAPP!, Art Attack, Bodger & Badger, Animals of Farthing Wood. Music like Spice Girls, Take That, East 17, Backstreet Boys. I wanna be young again :(

90s music was class. The whole Britpop thing is one of my favourite genres of music, and I remember the battle between Roll With It and Country House to get to number 1 in the charts in around 95. Then Liam Gallagher's famous "I hope everyone in Blur catches AIDS and dies" rant.

Being able to get penny mixtures at the newsagents where you could pick the stuff yourself. You'd always put about £1 worth of sweets in and tell the woman at the counter that there was 50p worth in there.

The Megadrive. (y)
