Help returning to places

i have a rly quick question im curious about. i know im still at disk 1 but like somewhere in disk 3 or 4 is there ever a chance to return back t previous places. is it by switching disks?

You dont switch disks... you just travel back to towns that you previously visited. All towns are revisitable. Only places you can't return to are the Galbadian Missile Base and the D-District Prison <- you won't have been there yet though.

what bout when u reach like the save point till ultemicia boss. how r u gonna return? (i have heard the castle is nearly all of disk 4 and ik tht there is always a save point before boss and i have dissidia so ik the main antagonist in ffviii is ultimecia)

Once you reach Disk 4, you cannot enter any towns so you need to complete all sidequests before Disk 4.

0_0. since im a fan of ultra leveling. i will just make a seperated data for disk 4 and 1 before the castle. if its possible . and i have the ps3 download

You can finish everything on Disk 3 anyway, no need to do a separate file really.

Once youve got to disk 4, if you have completed everything there's no reason to need to do anything other than press on with the final dungeon anyway

lol but i rly want to put at least 3 characters to the max. or at least close to max. so im probably just gonna stick to disc 3 before last mission. so can any1 tell me last mission of disc 3 so ik when 2 stop and i can go back and lvl

the point of no return is in the lunatic pandora. Once you have beaten the Mobile Type 8, do not go any further, you can leave up til and once defeating that boss. Any further and you are on you're wya to disk 4. So you will be fine for ages, you can do that then complete all the side stuff and level up and wotnot. Though tbh, gettin geveryone to max levels is pretty mnuch a waste of time, you can just stat max the junctioning waym, and if you do get everyone to level 100, and you are 100%ing the game, you will have issues with an optional boss in ultimecias castle that opens up with level 5 death.... or it may not open up with that, but it certainly uses it..... and Im pretty sure it affects the whole party as well

Yes if you get to level 100 lv5 death will kill you but no if you have death as a status defense. Anyways I found that right after getting an airship is the best time for doing side quests and such. You'll be a little ways off but there is a monster that drops Energy Crystals guaranteed. I think its name is elyone and it appears in Esther though talking to a person.

Other then that

Rinoa dissappears for some time on disk three so its best to do stuff with her in the party.
