Oh yes, its obvious, isn't it? That one fateful night of the dance with Squall. She exhibited vampire like behaviour, before, during and after the dance with Squall.
• Vampires, they often have a very pale and white appearance which is constant.
--- Rinoa is basically white in the AMV's in Final Fantasy 8, scarily so! You can see her pale through out the entire game, in one scene with Rinoa at SeeD inauguration, she is at her most palest, just before she gets in contact with Squall
• Vampires, being already dead, do not need most normal things required for human life, such as oxygen. They can go into a rest like state which prevents them from needing any at all till 'revived'
--- Rinoa was in space WITHOUT oxygen, she survived and was in perfect state of vampire rest until Squall was close enough to reach her, upon which she awoke when there was no Oxygen left!
• Vampires are sometimes considered to be shape-shifters with wings and other body parts which allow them to fly.
--- Rinoa can sprout wings at will and shape shift using this! You can see her fly using them in several points during the game!
• Vampires have Heightened senses. Such as awareness of people around them, raised smell, taste and visual pre-concepts.
--- Rinoa mentions on several occasions that she was looking for Squall cause she 'Just knew he would be here'. Quote: "I knew you would come for me Squall, I just knew it". When dancing she said she apparently was drawn to him!
• Vampires have the ability to manipulate people and put them under their control. They can do this through either touch or through their eyes upon focusing on their victims when their eyes lock.
--- Rinoa clearly holds onto Squalls head and stares directly into his eyes, putting him under her spell of illusion, he cannot dance before this and doesn't seem to have a clue what he is doing!
Vampire Mental characteristics:
All of the ones below are considered to be vampire traits and Rinoa exhibits them from the moment you meet her till she turns into Ulc.
-Strong-willed; independent nature; confident. (She is the leader of the Timber owls, the independent freedom fighters to liberate Timber)
-Intelligence on a different level of ideas. (She has a very weird outlook on how she can help people and how things work, for example, the plan to kidnap the president and when she tries to sacrifice herself for everyone).
-Dark nature (She is a rebel, kidnaps the president and ultimately is the host for the worlds most evil sorceress).
-Prefers nighttime over daytime; i.e., nocturnal nature (She did most her most vital roles in the dark/night which she exhibited more vampiric nature, like the dance)
-Moodiness/mood swings/quick-tempered (She is very short tempered and gets alot of mood swings if things dont go her way!, On the train for example when squall says her plan is "Pathetic")
It is pretty clear thats Squall does not know the dance at first, he is clumsy and bumps into Rinoa 3 times in a row, after the third one she places her hands on his face so he is looking directly into her eyes and from making pure mistakes...
... To dancing in perfect sync with her, everything is flawless, from the leg movements to the hand movements!
When Rinoa bumps into the other dancers she gives them such a 'Hiss' look where she looks like she is about to 'fang out' and go all 'Vampire chic' on them, but alas, she is with company and would not want to ruin her cover.
That is all I have to say and judge for your self... Is she really this angelic princess? All sweet and innocent, or is this only a façade, a way to hide the truth from us all!
