Alyss watched as the Prince started to climb into the small crawlspace behind the painting. Relieved that they were finally getting away without any more casualties. She was then witness to a small exchange of words between the Prince and Aervyn. Now was not the time to be fighting... However, the exchange ended quickly enough, so she never spoke up. Besides, it wasn't really her place, and she didn't want to impose.
"Prince Talis, perhaps it is best if you stay in the middle. That way, you will be in between everyone, and stand the least likely chance of being attacked", she said in a rather punctual tone. "I will go behind Aervyn."
She then proceeded to crawl in after him. Her robe making it somewhat difficult to crawl, and the sound of Aervyn's pauldrons scrapping against the walls were loud and maddening. Though, she stayed quiet, not knowing what was on the other side of the tunnel, and worrying about everyone's general safety.
Unsure of herself and her abilities, she crawled on hoping she could serve her purpose as a guard.
