Roxas vs. Sora

Discuss who you like better!

I personally liked Roxas better. He seemed to have SO much more character depth then Sora. I almost cried when he disppeared...

Pff, Sora. Roxas annoyed me, he seemed shallow. He's not capable of going through what Sora goes through IMO. He's similiar to Sora, but not the same being.
 
I like Roxas in 358/2 Days, but not really in KHII, although he does have a main inactive role, I don't really think he does much in KHII to stand out above Sora, he may do in Final Mix+ but he just seems to bridge the gap between KH:CoM and KHII then 358/2 Days fills in his time at the Organiztion, KHII doesn't really make him stand out so I'm going for Sora as he's still the main focus.
 
Sora.

In my opinion, it only appears that Roxas is more in depth because he deals with the kind of personal questions that Sora doesn't necessarily have to. Things about his existence, his feelings, etc... He was placed in the world as a "nobody", and therefore has been pre-destined with struggles that will cause him to ask questions.

That doesn't mean he has more depth than Sora.

Roxas appears to be a bit of a headcase. I doubt he could deal with the ventures that Sora's been put through.

I actually really enjoyed Roxas quite a bit. I think that, despite the shorter timed role he had, he was a good character. I really sympathized with him a whole lot. Being told he wasn't suppose to exist, that he had to disappear for someone else to awaken...Harsh >.<

But...I think it's still Sora > Roxas

I mean, Roxas is important, but his role was still a part of Sora's story, and not wholly his own independent thing. In 358/2 Days, yes. In the over-all series, no.

EDIT: As for comparing both characters struggles, I don't think it's that far apart actually. Sora's first journey ended and then Roxas' began, but when his journey ended, then Sora's second one began, right? I mean, yeah Roxas only existed for a year, but Sora's story didn't get into full motion until he was 14 >_>
 
I almost cried when Roxas disappeared aswell, but I'm not really sure who I like better. I like Sora because he's always positive and always stands by his friends, and I like Roxas because... Well.. I guess I just like his character, lul.

If I really think about.. I guess I like Sora more. :awesome:
 
i pick both because roxas is sora nobody so roxas nos all the stuff the sora so if sora and roxas had to fight no one well win because roxas nos every thing about sora
 
Sora. I just cant really stand depressed characters too much. Roxas a lot better than the others that i actually hate, but i like my heroes perky and optimistic. In any case, Sora is the main character, so the extended exposure also means i have longer to like him. But i gotta admit, Roxas looks pretty badass in his cloak and two keyblade.
 
Sora. Roxas was a little too depressing for my tastes. Even though it is caused by him learning he is a nobody, he could still cheer up a little because he is still "alive" for a little while longer.
 
Roxas !! i like him in KH2 and 358/2 Days, and i wonder why Ventus from BBS looks like him ;]
 
I think Sora... a hard one.
I usually like tragic characters, so of course Roxas has great chance to win.
But Sora is the main character and all that friendship thing with Riku and Kairi was really great. So I think I like him a little more.
 
wi fight over something so triviel becaues if you think about it roxas is part of sora and sora is a part of roxas same with kire and namina its all logical us your brains and complet the game and find out wat im off about
 
i think i would have to say roxas is better, because he just seemed more relaxed about everything that was going on, and seemed more skilled with the keyblades than sora, i have only played KH2 so i only know what he is like in that
 
hmmmmmmm there both really cool, but if they we both real people i would probablly get mad at sora for being annoying. plus roxas seems to have more personallity, at lest in my opinion
 
Roxas seemed kinda almost schizopehic.. on halluctioning drugs... to me..
Just the weird moments he has and how his Twilight town was just so... trippy..
The bit with the Train and how he thought it was there but then his friends ending up pushing him back because... no Train was there even know he thought he saw one..

But then again that was just * Ansem * messing with his world and his mind..
like Roxas but he seems a little plain in parts while compared to Sora he is just happy filled with happy energy and kinda is a little more surprising and unpredictable compared to Roxas's calm and more relaxed lifestyle..

Or maybe it was just Twilight Town that was pissing me off. Mean as written before with the trippy trips and that annoying sunlight and it was too damn happy...

Guess should go for the both of them ? Love Sora's positive outgoing persona but Roxas has a shit life and he goes through alot of angst and pain while Sora has it easy..[ more easy compared to what Roxas goes through..]

I'm more intrigued by Roxas because I don't know much about him yet. (I'll have to get 358/2 Days when it comes out over here.) I feel like I just didn't learn all that much about the character in KH2.

Sora. I always and immediately fell for this boy, I loved how sweet he was and so adorable to and his devotion to friends was simply too cute ^^ That and he was a good spirit and I love how he was oddly enough he's a complicated character hard understand but easy to love ;)) Plus in the Manga him being Bipolar :yay:
