[OOC: Sorry for the delay. Here goes. I didn't explicitly state the sidequests this time. Just read through the post and feel free to use any part of my post as you wish. If it's vague, explain it in your words. The deadline's pretty much ditched by now but we could still take things easy though.]
Fantasia: Streets
With that, the members of Genesis escaped the crimson peaks of Red Mountain. As each member reappeared, the casualties in Fantasia rise even further. The battle between Genesis and Final had erupted into a full-scale battle. Capitalizing on the situation, several unknown factions of criminal knaves as well as warriors looking to strike gold attempted all sorts of atrocities. Thanks to several skilled citizens of Fantasia, these atrocities were promptly dealt with. Unfortunately, this problem persists as criminal run rampant and unhindered.
Meanwhile, a blacksmith hammers on at the blade on his anvil. Beads of sweat trickle down his aged face as he focused intensely on the red-hot blade. The sounds of battle outside were starting to get louder. No doubt he had little time to hide. He had to finish this sword. He struck the hammer again, recalling how much he had to barter to obtain the Red Dragonglass to craft into a blade. The precious gem cost him a fortune, but considering his age, he had little to do with the money. What he would want is the recognition. Hence this blade, his magnum opus. Hammering on, he paid the noise outside no heed.
Lisette whispered a magic-invoking curse under her breath as the members of her mercenary group gathered for a push into the Mansion of Dreams. Despite their strong presence in Fantasia, Final had not done a good job of bringing the people to their side. Granted, some were willing enough to lend them their swords, but most were not as simple-minded. It'll take more than just quantity and quality. Gaining their trust takes time and respect, both of which were never given in sufficient amount. Still, Lisette could not deny this stroke of luck. After all, she had to admit that Final did provide a high quality of amenities despite their criminal background. In fact, she was almost impressed with their ability to do so, except that they were ultimately a criminal organization.
"Push forward!"
Her cry was echoed by several members as the mass of warriors attempted to make a concerted effort to push back the enemy line. Staring up at the Mansion, Lisette couldn't help but wonder what Enigma made of this. And what manner of being was he.
