Dori - The Battle of Blood, Part I
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dori's good instincts had saved him from being spotted by the scarlet duo as by the time they turned their looks at the party, his presence was almost completely masked. While 100% of invisibility without slightest hint of the body being left there was out of his reach, he could shade himself so well that the only real clue of someone there would have been the slightly shivering air as he moved. As soon as he heard MD's wish, he had spurt out towards the cottage, passing the bloody duo by a matter of meters. As he thought he was at a safe distance, he plucked the strings of his magical lute. The magic travelled through air at first, and then hit the ground a step ahead of both enemies. Within an instant, a patch of two square meters turned into mud.

" This might serve." Thought the dwarf and turned his look back to the cottage. The flames had risen high and fierce. The red soil of the now infamous Red Mountain exaggerated the vista, making even the ground itself look aflame. The closer he moved, the more red got the soil. By the time he felt the heat of the blaze, he knew it was no longer just the ground. It was blood that covered a good portion of the surroundings of the building.

" ... This can't be any good." His fingers were picking his lute with no sound, boosting his vision, hearing and ability to smell.

[OOC: If I'm not wrong, I don't think "appalled" would necessarily imply that what the person is appalled with is horrible per se. Probably more of what he considers to be "horrible" - in this case "horribly fast"... >.> If I'm not right, then I suppose it's easier to take the "appalled" I used for "surprised" :D]

As the duo initiated battle against the presumably weaker ranked members, MD braced himself. He switched his sword over to his left hand and slit his right wrist with it. Blood spurted from the fresh wound, dousing the blade with it. Then it lit up with a bright shade of crimson. The familiar sensation of the magical enhancement gushed through MD as he casually switched the sword back into his right hand. Suddenly, everything felt like it was within his span of knowledge.

From the smallest pebble by the path or the imminent moves that are about to be made, nothing seemed to escape him now. MD glanced in the general direction of the Red Mountain, feeling relieved that he could no longer sense Dori amongst the group. This meant he could focus on helping fend off the Scarlet Duo for the time being.

However, it seemed the two were strong warriors in their own right. Clyuue struck with a swift cut to counter the red-haired warrior's charge while Elvire opted for a temporary retreat, successfully dodging the opponent's charge to stake out in a tree nearby. The black-haired male didn't waste any time in continuing to pursue Elvire.

The red-haired female, however, did something much more startling. Clyuue's counterattack was easy to dodge, but instead of doing so, she only dodged enough that it only drew blood by a superficial wound. Still in the motion of her charge, she swung in a horizontal arc aimed at Clyuue's neck.

MD begins circling around the two at this juncture, intent on identifying this opponent's abilities.

"I believe you would understand what I mean, yes?"

The Genesis member nodded curtly and sprinted away into the distance. Events were transpiring much faster than she expected. Or perhaps her plans had not been executed quickly enough. Either way, things had to be changed. Final's downfall would be a premature one. Lisette peered upwards at the Mansion of Dreams, Final's headquarters. Still the calm, picturesque sight for now. Waving her hands, Lisette opened a portal and stepped into it. Re-appearing at the Fantasian barracks, she smiled at the sight.

Throngs of people have gathered. Fantasian soldiers, citizens. And of course, the mainstay of this revolution against Final - Genesis. Looking directly at the squad leaders, Lisette nodded once as they split up into their small groups and set off for the Mansion of Dreams. It will take Final some time to realize what was happening. The small groups that they splintered into was meant to blend in with the afternoon crowd on the Fantasian streets. By the time Final realizes that an attack was imminent, the battle would probably have begun.

Urk!

The woman wasn't the number one pair for no reason. The hair breath dodge startled Clyuue, particularly since she managed to actually scratch her. The main issue wasn't that however. It was that the Female Scarlet dodged with minimal deviation from her path. She even followed through with a horizontal swing at her neck from the left. It was impossible for Clyuue to bring Gremory back from its swing and dodging wasn't an option. Raising her left hand to neck level, Clyuue let her plated gauntlet hand take the brunt of the strike, slowing it enough that the collar guard wouldn't cleave right through. In addition, the Cheytan rolled rightwards with the strike, diving afar and letting the force from the swing be absorbed. That was as much as she could do. Now further away from her opponent, Clyuue quickly regained her posture.

Curses.... She isn't number one without a reason. The shock has left my left hand a bit numb and my neck is sore from the strike. If she specialises in close dodges, then lets put a stop to that.

Clamping her left hand softly over Gremory at the hilt, Clyuue swiped down the length of the blade. As she went, the metal glowed white hot and with a final sweep of her hand, it burst into flames. Even if she dodges the blade by mere centimeters, the tongues of the flame will lash out at her. Taking advantage of her tall stature, Clyuue dashed forward, priming the blade over her left shoulder and swung down in an overhead slash at extreme speed. The flames distorted the blades length and the armour created an illusion that made it difficult to judge distance.

Let's see you dodge by a hair again...

She wanted to see if Ms Number One from Final was fearless enough to ignore searing fire.

Elvire Orleans
Come and Get Me

Elvire watched as the man moved to jump onto the tree along with her. Her spear drawn and looking at the man, most likely one of the higher ranked members. Although Elvire was dealing with his comrade, she still had to deal with him. Fortunately, one on one made it so that there were no disadvantage on their part. She pointed her spear at the opponent, almost in a taunting manner. "Come." She said calmly as she began to move forward, jumping upwards and moving to come down on the man.

[OOC: That is correct in another context. I think you picked that off Google definitions. However, "appalling" could also be "inspiring horror", "causing consternation" or "causing dismay"... According to Merriam Webster, Dictionary.com and FreeDictionary.com respectively. It depends on the context. In this case, it inspired dismay in MD. Perhaps if I described something grotesque, maybe Reles dead body and MD found it. The "appalling revelation" at the sight of the latter's body would mean the "awful/terrible revelation".]

Fantasia Outskirts: Foot of Red Mountain
"Main Droite" aka MD

Clyuue definitely had potential. MD had been expecting something much more haphazard than the way things unfolded. Instead, Clyuue protected the targeted area and even moving with the motion of the blow. Mildly impressed, MD glanced over to Elvire, still taunting the male Scarlet Duo member. For now it would seem they were still toying with the ranked members of Genesis. Either way, Elvire wouldn't have to worry about a real attack yet. The male warrior will probably dodge and attempt a normal counter attack.

Of more concern to MD was the female Scarlet Duo member. Considering their supernatural speed, it wouldn't have been difficult to completely dodge Clyuue's first attack and attempt the same slash to Clyuue's neck. Sensing something amiss, MD focused intensely on the female warrior as she fingered her wound and licked her own blood. That was when MD realized. "Mary, the Red?" This was a warrior that grew stronger in the presence of blood. And when she tasted her own blood...

The female warrior braced for impact, laughing softly as she prepared to block the flaming slash.

Dori- The Battle of Blood
------------------------------------------------------------------

At one moment the flames were all around and another they were gone. As Dori got closer and closer to the cottage, his fingers were almost running on the lute. Every time he touched a string and a soundwave hit the flames, they diminished. By the time he reached the doorway, the cottage was no longer ablaze. True, it was bloody hot and the chaco was still glooming, but no real live flames were there. As sweat dripped down Dori's forehead, he walked through a portion of the cottage.

" Impossible .... he couldn't have been here." Muttered the dwarf while coughing slightly due to the hazardous smoke. As he turned around and left to leave the cottage, he noticed something.

" Boiling blood ...? " There had been blood on the ground outside of the cottage and there was blood inside.

" It can't be!" This very instant he knew exactly what the abilities of the enemy who MD was facing were. The warriors and mages of blood were their kind. The more blood around them, the stronger they got. And there were rumours that drinking their own blood gave an even bigger boost.
While he wanted to go back and warn the others, he knew he would lower the chances of survival for his comrades, even if he was hidden from plain sight. As he was outside of the cottage, he glanced back at the battleground further away and took a turn to the opposite direction.

" Now Reles ... where might you be."

[OOC: So you can finally find Reles. He's quite safe, lol.]

Fantasia

Final: Reles

Reles laughed heartily as he dragged out a chair. Stopping right at the cliff that looked over the foot of the mountain, he smiles as he watches the battle between the two sides. "Enigma's quite good with his choice of people, but so is 'The Window'..." The balding man sighs as he takes a seat, hunching over just so he could have a clear view of the battle transpiring below him. Clyuue launches her flaming slash at Mary, the red-haired warrior of Final, who in turn, held against the attack, and retaliates with a kick as she spins to counter attack.

MD intervenes, blocking the blade and kicking the woman back. However, she was far from done as she lurches forward in a zig zag motion, skipping away from MD and on to Clyuue. On the other side, Reles' personal favorite, Darius, was still engaged in a fairly futile battle against another ranked member, probably Elvire. "Go for it! Go go go!" Darius seems to be frustrated as he yells out a chant for a high level fire ball. The ball of fire materialize around his person and launches at Elvire.

Dori - The Battle of Blood: Hello Mr. Reles
----------------------------------------------------------------

While Dori knew a million songs, he couldn't think of any about Reles, so he decided to sing a so called anthem of Fantasia. As he plucked his strings and started to sing, he appeared rather close to Reles, probably as a surprise to the man. As he sung, he took a few steps to the front of the man and bowed slightly. After a verse he stopped and grinned.

" I'm sorry but I have never heard any songs of you, Reles?" He wasn't quite certain that this was indeed Reles, but who else could it have been.

" I assume you are aware why are we here? Even if you don't, I am here to represent the Merchants of Ao and Genesis." The dwarf took a small break and then added.

" If you do not wish to share the bad guys secret with Enigma, I'm positive that you would do it for your old companion Lord Vadok."

OOC: Dori and Vadok? o_O Stay in tune to find out more!
While at some point I was considering of making one very long post, I have now decided to split it up a little, just to make it more interesting to wait and easier to read :D
As the next part is from past, I feel obligated to tell the outcome as Valkyryr has already started the fight against Final the day after. Basically it will be quiet by the morning. Merchants of Ao gets expelled, Vadok recieves the mine. I do expect Final to be a little less organised the few days after tho. On the other hand, Vadok will lose around half of his men during the night, so he will also be much weaker for a period of time.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
City of Fantasia - The riot of Merchants
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The foul smell of death was everywhere. Screams and shouts, the kids clinging to their parents, people running pointlessly from one alley to another, general panic, constant clashes of swords, hundreds of patrols and the soon to become rivers of blood - things had gone way beyond what anyone had expected. If not to consider Enigma and Final, the four following top guilds in terms of money, political influence and human resources were in direct battle. On one side was the one responsible for the armed conflict, Lord Vadok and his supporters. It was obvious by now that Vadok had taken complete control over the Fighters guild, received constant aid from Final and had almost every “free” orc in the city on his side. Not to consider the drow-elf assassins who were shaping the city’s official authorities to what Vadok preferred, by assassinating and rolling the blame to the Merchants of Ao.
Then there were the Merchants. But not just the followers of Ao, but the Merchant Guild of the city had partially joined the Merchants of Ao, their former rival. For a good half of the members of the official Merchants Guild, the opportunity to receive half of the income from the red dragonglass mine seemed like the best source of income they had had in decades. In addition to the mine, Mr. Black had offered huge amounts of gold to everyone who directly or indirectly supported him. For merchants who knew nought of the true situation in the city, this seemed like the perfect choice. Some of them even hoped for Kings assistance and once the conflict was over, for his gratitude. Little did they know that when they sent out their hundreds of sellswords to quiet down Lord Vadok, they brought the wrath of Final and therefore the King upon them. By the time they realized how powerful had the Lord “Craven” become, it was already too late to retreat. Therefore they were forced to go all-out, fight till last breath or escape as soon as possible. Same went for the Merchants of Ao whom Final had tried to get out of the city for years by now. They had made no legal mistakes before and had huge support from the masses due to goods that their competitors did not offer or did at a much higher price. But now it was the perfect chance. Neither Vadok nor Final could leave this chance unused. As Vadok was already directly pulled into the conflict, it was for the best to let him deal with the situation and support his forces from the shadows which was the most common practise for Final and its members.

Sweat was dribbling down his slightly wrinkled forehead, his heart was racing and his legs started to hurt from the constant strain on them. Dori had been on the run for more than twenty minutes by now, constantly forced to change his route to the Merchants hall as orcs had flooded the city. But not just orcs, as time passed more and more official city patrols, Vadoks sellswords and members of the Fighters guild appeared, each and every fiercer than the other. Twice had he been stopped by a drow assassin only to see the assassin getting slaughtered by the loyal Elven guards of his hall.

“ This contract better be worth it … “ Muttered the dwarf with anger as he saw a huge orc blocking the whole alley in front of him. He was about to turn around when a hand grabbed his almost invisible shoulder. The touch was enough to dismiss his invisibility spell.
“ If it isn’t the famous bard of Mother Theresa.” Fear shot through every single cell of his body. The sweat from heat was substituted with cold sweat. The dwarven grin had turned into a complete mess. Half of his face looked cheerful, the other half was about to cry.
“ V … Va … Va-vavadok.” He gasped as he turned around to see the huge monster right there, in front of him. Lord Vadok. The famous coward whose name was used as the official definition of craven in many a dictionary, or so it was said. But standing in front of him, around 2 meters of height and 120 kilograms of muscle in the infamous black plate mail of the Vadoks legacy, his long sword in one hand and a bizarre looking umbrella in his other hand, he looked nought but scary. So fierce were his bloodshot dark eyes that the small dwarf was about to faint, if it hadn’t been for the pain that the sword caused by cutting from the bottom of his face till the very top. So unexpected was the slash that he hadn’t even tried to dodge or block it. His flesh was torn open and blood spurt out, blurring his vision.
“ What a little stubborn mouse ya are. Now give me the contract and we can get over with this pointless bloodshed.” But Dori was still stunned. How come Vadok had found him in an alley that almost no-one knew of. It was then that he noticed a human by the terrible half-orc, half-drow.

Master Cartographer D … he was certain it was him who told Vadok about the secret alley which went straight to the backyard of the Merchants of Ao backyard.
“ I… I l-l-lost the contract” Haunted by fear and pain, he could barely summon these words. An eye blink later he was down on the ground. Vadok had sheated his sword and used his gigantic fist to smash his nose, breaking it completely.
“ Don’t lie to me you useless spy! Kill him!” As Craven turned around and walked away, other orcs gathered around the midget on the ground. It was then that Dori regained his guts and stood up, a little shaky, but still straight in figure.
“ I can get you information about the weakness of you know who.” Those words were even to make Vadok stop and turn around. With curiosity he examined the dwarf.
“ Interesting.” The half-orc burst into joyful laughter as he walked close to the dwarf.

“ Then go and get it!”

Vadok - Sweet plans
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Everything was going according to plans even though the resistance had turned up to be much greater than initially expected. While the losses were higher on Vadoks side, his forces controlled more than three quarters of the Merchants district and it was only a matter of time until the two big guild halls would fall, Merchants of Ao and the Merchants Guild of Fantasia. The latter’s odds to survive the numerous enemies outside their guild hall were near zero. On the other hand, Merchants of Ao controlled around a fifth of the district and were putting up a fierce fight on every single alley leading to their guild hall.

“ Ser Vadok!” The elegant voice belonged to a noble looking man in a fancy armour. John Craven Vadok welcomed him with a friendly smile and nodded.

“ The Mayor, the coinmaster, the vice-chief of the the city guard and the leader of the fighters guild have all been eliminated. By the Merchants of course my lord.” John burst out laughing, so hard that a tear formed in one of his eyes.

“ The mayor’s position has been taken over by the right hand, who appears to be a big supporter of Vadoks family. Fighters guild leading members vote you as their new leader. City guard is rather unorganised as the vice-chief used to be the one commanding the ranks. Without the genius coinmaster, the city won’t be hiring any new guards any time soon.” Cravens joy grew bigger after every single word. When the noble man was finished, Vadok shook his hand.

“ While all these unfortunate deaths would render many a city useless for weeks, Fantasia is in the grasp of Final. It won’t take more than a few days to get things back organised. Therefore, start preparing the game for tomorrows midnight.” The man nodded in agreement and hurried off.

“ My master. We are here.” It was D who pointed at a stone wall. As he pushed one of the stones, a hidden door opened the way to the backyard of the guild hall of Merchants of Ao. The half-drow unsheated his sword, nodded to D and walked in. While the cartrographer left to where they came from, around ten companions accompanied their leader through the hidden entrance. Four lightly armored drows, one gnome and a bunch of heaviliy armored orcs. Hopefully enough to surprise the merchants from the rear.

--------------------------------------------
A gnome and a giant!
--------------------------------------------

“ James!” It was the blood-soaked dwarf who run through the chaotic corridors of the guild. He had hoped to see well-organised ranks of mercenaries and merchants ready to engage the soon to come enemy. Yet all he saw were drunk merchants on every corner and in every room. He tried to ask a few about the whereabouts of his master, but none of them knew. A few arrogant merchants ignored him totally. These men had given up, that much was obvious. But Dori was certain that his master hadn’t, so he kept running and searching until he made it to the main hall of the guild. Seeing each-other, both of them gasped.

“Dori. I was looking for you. The ladies need some entertainment. Sing us!” As much as he was glad to see his master, he was shocked. Sitting in his chair, the old one was drinking wine and had two young gnomish females sitting both on one of his knees. The gnome’s hands were teasing the naked breasts of the ladies as others were shouting and cheering all around.

“SING US!” They shouted. More than twenty merchants and their husbands were there, drunk as hell. It was enough for the dwarf. He turned around the very same moment and rushed outside. As he was to step over the doorway, a magical barrier stopped him.

“ I TOLD YOU TO SING!” He had never before seen his lord drunk nor angry. For a moment he froze and played his lute. The very next moment he caused the barrier to disappear by the magical soundwaves.

“ FECK YOU, selfish bastard” Dori was fed up. There was a war going outside and yet all the ugly gnome did was drink and abuse women. He rushed through the corridors to the barracks, hoping to find at least someone adequate. As he entered the main barracks, his worries disappeared. Most of the most respected merchants of the guild were there along with a few elven commanders of their guard. In addition, at least fifty sellswords were there, well geared, ready to move out when ordered.

“ Lord Dori! Your face?” The dwarven bard was loved by everyone in the guild and therefore it was no surprise that his presence made the whole garrison cheer, even tho he looked half-dead.

“ Vadoks gift! Now tell me, how bad is our situation?”

“ We have lost at least two hundred sellswords and around thirty of our guard. There are approximately two hundred of our swords left on the streets, plus the fifty here as reserves.” These were neither bad nor good news. It was then when he remembered the contract. As he handed it over, the captain of guard took a deep breath.

“ When our squad heard of what happened in the city, they retrieved all the mined dragonglass and sent it to the closest safehouse outside Fantasia. Minutes after doing that most of them got slaughtered in a surprise attack by the foul orcs.”

“So Vadok has the mine but we have plenty of dragonglass? Fair deal I guess.” Doris attempt to cheer everyone up failed as the very moment he finished his sentence, a wounded guard run in.

“ They … enemy … Vadok himself … in our yard!” Without a wasted eye-blink, the captain of the guard had ordered around thirty of the fifty in the reserve to head out to the yard.

“ It was good to see you Dori, but I believe you should leave the town, immediately. I believe lord Black has lost his sanity and you are the next in command. Therefore your safety comes first.” The captain of guard smiled in a friendly fashion and run to follow the reserves sent to the yard.

“ Out of city huh … “ The red-haired bard mumbled as he searched for a special stone that opened a secret underground tunnel that would lead him straight out of the city.

MEANWHILE IN THE YARD!

“ If it isn’t the famous coward! (hiccup).. I have been trying to meet you for a year now, but you seem to run away every time you see me!” It was the old gnome who had appeared in the yard, out of nowhere.

“ Lord Black I assume. A pleasure to meet you.” Vadok grinned and aimed his umbrella at him.

OOC: I hope its not too much of powerplaying and godmodding on Vadoks part?

Final: Reles

Although Dori's appearance would have been a huge surprise to any ordinary man, Reles remained unfazed by the sudden appearance of the bard. He sang the 'anthem' of Fantasia as he approached, bowing a comfortable distance away. " I'm sorry but I have never heard any songs of you, Reles?" Because many of those who would have sang of him died almost immediately. Reles never actually liked songs about himself. Most went on about how evil he was, and how useless he was to Final. Enigma's subtle propaganda, guessed Reles, but there wasn't any way to find out now.

" I assume you are aware why are we here? Even if you don't, I am here to represent the Merchants of Ao and Genesis. If you do not wish to share the bad guys secret with Enigma, I'm positive that you would do it for your old companion Lord Vadok."

So Vadok was still alive. Reles grinned at the thought of the orc wetting himself in yet another display of fear. He was a strong opponent, yes, but one lacking in the greater strength of courage at times. Embarrassing as it was though, no one can truly dispute his strength. And despite his strength, Reles didn't think much of him. "Secrets huh," Reles muttered, shifting his thoughts to the main question.

In truth, Enigma had been an enigma from the start. A mystery, even to the founding members like himself. "Really, it's no big secret. He's just a freaking monster." He laughed at his own remark, and at the fact that it was hardly far from the truth. Regaining his composure, he said,"Of course, his true nature is unknown to everyone, probably. Though, his one weakness I've seen is magic... Or rather, the lack thereof."

Tough as nails!

Mary took the blow with her sword and quickly tried to counter with a swift round kick. Again, Clyuue wasn't too worried with hand to hand damage. Unless the woman had blades running up her shin or claws, bare handed or legged attacks were relatively futile against her full armour. Regardless, MD intervened with a kick straight into Mary's back. Clyuue was relieved to see MD get involved finally. Her opponent seemed extremely capable and competent, on a level that was above her own, as much as it hurts to admit. Even after the kick, she continued forward, ignoring MD and still went straight for Clyuue. She was prepared for her advance this time. Rather than wait for her to start her strike, Clyuue would initiate. Flaming blade still lit, Clyuue ran forward and met Mary, using all forward momentum and her weight to launch a heavy strike at her opponent. Given her size and armour, there was considerable amount of force behind the swing, enough that most men would be blown off their feet.

Elvire Orleans
Not Impressed

Elvire saw the man move to launch a fireball around his person heading in Elvire's direction. The Felidian knew that the blast was powerful enough to at least roast her alive, but she was undettered however. Putting her hands over her mouth, Elvire began to use arcane draconic arts to breathe a wave of ice down on her opponent's attack. At such close range it would prove ineffective in completely neating the fire attack, but the blow should be weakened a bit. She would surprise the opponent by passing through the flames, using her Ice Breath attack as a shield of sorts to bypass the fireball, and once she got through would move in to stab the man right in the throat.

Dori - Enigmas Weakness
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Though, his one weakness I've seen is magic... Or rather, the lack thereof."

While Dori did not completely understand what Reles meant, he was pleased to hear that their enemy did have a weakness of some sort. The dwarf tried to give a puzzled glance at Reles, but realized soon after that just a puzzled look might not be enough to make Reles explain further.

" I humbly thank you for sharing this important piece of information, but I have to add that I did not completely understand what you meant by lack of magic?" It could have been that the monstrous entinity was unable to use magic, but that was unlikely. It seemed to Dori that using magic might boost Enigmas abilities. But those were just speculations. All he had to do was wait for Reles'es answer. As he did, he glimpsed at the battle a safe distance away from them.

Fantasia Mansion of Dreams
Lisette de la Fenêtre, aka "The Window"

To say this attack was successful would be an understatement. It was, in fact, a huge success. Although their attack was purposefully clandestine, citizens of Fantasia somehow caught wind of this plan and were quicker to join them than she was to silence them. Not that it was a bad thing, but Lisette could not help feeling this was a little too convenient. Still, it did made perfect sense that having been controlled so tightly by an organization that wasn't even supposed to be ruler... Yet...

Lisette shook her head as she raised her arms, jabbing forcefully at the Mansion of Dreams. "Show them no mercy!" Her cry was echoed as the force that followed her moved to subdue any resistance that showed up. Final was still unprepared for the most part, but news should have reached Enigma by now, and that worried Lisette. Enigma's mysterious nature is hardly a factor to be underestimated. After all, it was the main reason why Final was a top crime syndicate. "MD..."

Fantasia Outskirts: Foot of Red Mountain

The kick startled Mary briefly, but true to her rank, she recovered quickly and prepared for the incoming attack. Leaping forward in zig zag motion aimed at making her next attack less apparent, she hoped to catch Clyuue unawares. Instead of moving to dodge, she braced for a direct clash. Whether out of complacency or simply stupidity, Mary could not tell, but she was not one to back down from a direct challenge. In the presence of blood, she possessed superhuman strength. How could this girl, a mere mortal best her?

The blades met with a resounding clang and a shriek. The force of Clyuue's strike had been severely underestimated. Mary staggered back, clutching the gaping wound on her right shoulder. Her sword lay broken on the ground. The Rank 1 of Final had been bested. MD hid an amused smile, pleased that Clyuue had won without any further assistance. No doubt Mary lost due to her own over-confidence, but that did not mean Clyuue lacked skill. This battle showed that she did possess that level of skill that would progress one further in an organization like Genesis.

Meanwhile, over at Elvire's side. Darius remains confident that Elvire would dodge the fireball, and prepares himself for an attack to his flank. Never would he have expected Elvire to charge through his spell and attack him head on. And aiming for his throat, no less. He easily dodged the attack, but just as he did, a shriek interrupts the silence in which they fought. Throwing all caution to the wind, he sprints to Mary who had now fell to her knees as she still clutched her bleeding wound.

MD watches the two warily and once assured that they were not going to be hostile for some time, he spoke to the two. "You two. Find Dori and Reles. Then go back to Fantasia. Pronto. I'll make sure these two are kept busy here."

=====================

"The lack thereof. Enigma is magic. Magic is Enigma. Ask any further and I'll gut you where you stand, haha!"

Reles laughs heartily as he notices the quick turn of events that transpired below them.

Thanks be Goddess of War

Metal met metal for a split second before Clyuue felt the feeling of Gremory cleaving through metal. Sure enough, in slow motion, Mary's sword snapped in two, the top piece twirling in slow motion from the force of the strike before descending ground wards. A spray of red flashed upwards, following Gremory as the long blade continued and bit into the female's right shoulder. Her weapon slipped from her grip, tumbling to the ground. As the Goddess will have it, Clyuue managed to best a superior opponent. Whatever may have been the reasons, it was a victory. What surprised Clyuue was that her partner abandoned her opponent without caution or signs of protecting himself, just to come to Mary's side. Afraid that the man would launch an attack on her, Clyuue stepped backwards and adopted a defensive stance in anticipation.

You two. Find Dori and Reles. Then go back to Fantasia. Pronto. I'll make sure these two are kept busy here."

It was an order from the Number One. It was also one where she did not argue against. M.D was capable of handling this situation. He wasn't dumb. If he felt like he wouldn't be able to, he would say so. With a simple nod of her head, Clyuue stepped back from the duo until there was a fair enough distance, cocked her head at Elvire to signal her to follow and left running towards Dori.

The man dodged the attack as he stepped back, but hearing a shriek come nearby she had come to the conclusion that either Clyuue was injured or the alternative option, which was confirmed when the man drop down to help his partner. Elvire jumped down after him where she came to trail him, jumping through the tree branches until she saw the red head clutching her right shoulder. She fought against giving Clyuue a weak smile as she saw her opponent injured, holding her spear up as she got into a fighting stance. The Felidian would have waited defensively for them to move until...

You two. Find Dori and Reles. Then go back to Fantasia. Pronto. I'll make sure these two are kept busy here."

The order from MD was perhaps a bit of relief. This distraction would've given time for Reles to escape had Dori not went up ahead to see him. Elvire began to circle around MD's next opponents as Clyuue would begin to head on up the mountain. As soon as she made a safe distance and Clyuue cocked her head, Elvire would then move up the mountain, jumping from rock to rock and moving up the mountain path. It wasn't too far up for Elvire who would reach Dori and another individual, presumably Reles standing by and watching the battles. "Hello there..."

OOC: What's up with the design? ...

Dori - Time to get ready for the Final battle
---------------------------------------------------------

"Hello There" Dori could do nought but smile as he saw that his comrades were successful. He bowed in front of Reles out of gratitude and prepared himself to take his leave.

" I know the weakness ... kind of. It has something to do with magic, or rather the lack of it." Dori was still a little puzzled. Did it mean that the monstrous enigma was a magical being that could be dispelled or something else totally different. In any case, they better had to hurry back to Fantasia.

" Fellow companions, I do believe we should get to Fantasia as fast as possible. Any ideas how?" He knew that if his master had been there, he could have teleported all of them without the slightest problem. But Lord Black was not here and Dori's own magical skills were nowhere near the Mother Theresas abilities.

[OOC: OMG. Yeah. Guess we need to wait till they purchase that new skin they were voting to use. And pardon the short post…]

Fantasia Red Mountain

Reles was still chuckling even as the two members of Genesis arrived to join him. MD below engages the two Final members and begins a battle filled with the deafening booms of exploding fireballs and battle cries. Finally stopping his laughter, Reles looked to the three. He reached into his pockets and pulled out a small pouch which he tosses to Dori. “Well, I didn’t manage to escape Enigma with just smoke bombs, okay,” he stifles a laugh as he spoke. “That’s a miniature teleportation spell I made. There’re risks involved, but nothing as serious as being displaced in the wrong locations.”

Eying the group slyly, he adds,” Of course, there are cases where people tried this and find an arm missing. Stuff like that. But it’s almost certainly your best bet for now. Well, nap time.”

Without waiting to hear the response of the group, he lays sprawled on the ground and shut his eyes.

Dori - I guess we should give it a go
---------------------------------------------------------------

Dori caught the bag, smiled in a bizarre fashion and stared at Reles.

" Um ... I guess I should say thank you ... " Dori didn't like the idea of losing a hand or even worse, some other rather important body part. After all he was a bard and got many a girl for his amazing musical talent. But musical talent wasn't all the talent he had, if you get what I mean. As he noticed Reles laying down, he smirked and took out the miniature transportation cookies. He threw one to Clyuee and one to Elvire.

" Man this guy is an egg ... but I guess we have no other option do we?" Dori told one of the most common prayers in Fantasia, muttered something that even he didn't understand and swallowed the cookie while thinking of Fantasia. The very next moment he saw that Clyuue turned upside down, Elvire got three times as big and Reles was flying. Then it started to spin, a black hole appeared where his stomach was and for a second he was certain he had lost half of his body. And then the entinity consumed him. As quick as he disappeared, he appeared out of a dark hole somewhere, with a lot of people and noise around. The massive whirling was enough to make him spu.

" Gosh ... I'm never getting used to instant teleportation." He wiped his face clean, made sure he has every part of his body attached and then turned around to see where he was. For some reason it seemed to him that all around were members of the mercenary group. As he tried to pluck the strings of his lute, he realized it. It was gone. A slight rage shot through him and had he had his lute, he would have smashed it.

" GET ME TO THE LEADER" Roared the little red dwarf. It was at that point of time that he found out that it was not the group he expected to be at. As he gazed around, members of Final all stared at him.

" Shit .... "

OOC: Actually I wasn't quite certain how you meant the teleportation pouch to be used, so I turned it into a bag that contains cookies. Oh and my teleportation went wrong as I ended up in Finals headquarters.

That's a first

“Well, I didn’t manage to escape Enigma with just smoke bombs, okay. That’s a miniature teleportation spell I made. There’re risks involved, but nothing as serious as being displaced in the wrong locations. Of course, there are cases where people tried this and find an arm missing. Stuff like that. Clyuue's eyes narrowed in disbelief. They had come this far to the sticks for Reles and now, they had to go back to the town. Worst of all, via some magical method that may or may not get the to their destination and that may or may not take a limb or an organ along the way. While Clyuue have gambled before, both with money and in fight, she did not like playing roulette where it was all down to pure luck, just like right now. Her ambitions was still not achieved and should she lose her sword arm or an important organ of some sort, then she would not know what to do with herself.

No. The Great Shaman had said i am destined for great things. I will not be stopped here!

With that in mind, she caught the cookie thrown to her by Dori and without a second of hesitation, popped the small treat into her mouth and braced herself. The world spun in colours around her. Objects warped in and out and the scene and environment seemed to be melting in front of her eye. She was terrified. To her, it was as if her mind was turning to mush and it was not computing whatever she saw properly. It was exactly like how those that had gone down the path of drugs described their trip and it sickened Clyuue. In an instant, a sensation of pulling grew from the center of her stomach before engulfing her entire self. As much as she tried to keep her eyes open, Clyuue blinked for a split second from the shock and when her eyes opened once more, she was looking at the cobbled streets of Fantasia. With the sudden return to reality and normality, the giant contrast between the prior sensation was overwhelming. She was not computing properly and in response, her body convulsed and hurled up. All of a sudden, several hands grabbed her own and panicking, Clyuue flailed, trying to throw them off, but instead, stumbled, her legs not listening.

M'lady! Are you alright?! Quick! Call the doctor!

Looking up, her eyes focused finally and in front of her, stood one of her retainers, decked out in full Cheytan armour and from the looks of it, had been in combat. In fact, the surrounding area she was in was actually the Cheytan sector. All residents seemed to be on high alert and many were armed and organised.

Girl! I am fine. Help me to my feet. I just need a second. What is going on? Why are all my brethren deployed?

M'lady! A group has launched an attack against Final. The city is falling into chaos with fighting everywhere. Some thugs decided to take advantage of the situation and tried to loot and cause disturbance.

If there was any group that was willing and had the guts to attack Fantasia, it would be Genesis.

Perfect. I shall head out then. Tell Mriah that she is in charge of her brethren while i am out. You are all to remain and defend this sector unless i say otherwise.

M'lady! If you are heading out, allow us to accompany you!

Very well. Get me a squad of Houvahs and arm them with plain armour. They can support me

As the young soldier ran off to gather the squad. Clyuue nabbed herself a piece of bread and some water, just to replenish what she had lost from vomiting. She shall join the assault once her squad has assembled.

Now that...is NOT thinking with PORTALS!!!

“Well, I didn’t manage to escape Enigma with just smoke bombs, okay,”
he stifles a laugh as he spoke. “That’s a miniature teleportation spell I made. There’re risks involved, but nothing as serious as being displaced in the wrong locations.”

Watching the man fall asleep on the ground, Elvire with a swish of her tail simply shook her head, "What an odd man he is." She said before looking at the bag of...cookies? "Wonderful..." She said, as she popped the cookie in her mouth. Her world began to spin around and around, practically looking like a wormhole of sorts. Silhouettes of people and building flew by her as Elvire began to think of a place to land. Her head felt like splitting and her stomach felt like it was melting. Elvire's eyes would take time to focus as she landed in a small room, the sounds of gears turning as she coughed and vomited all over the floor. Panting for breath she leaned back and sat down, sweating profusely before looking around to see herself in a clock tower of sorts within Fantasia.
