Theme-The Place I'll Return to Someday-Legacy

14 April 1817
Alexandria-Harbor

A sole airship began to descend into Alexandria's Harbor. The airship was an Alexandrian Ship of the Line, the Enterprise, one of ten surviving airships from the Mist Continental War, and the largest ship they have in their feeble airship fleet. As the ship touched the cool brisk waters of the Alexandrian Sea, one of the officers looked down to see some a familiar face, in this case Queen Garnet XVI. The officer smiled as the ship sailed slowly into harbor, landing right by the marble-laden landscape, to the shout of naval captains screaming at the sailors to have everything ship shape and ready for the next mission. The wooden plank would drop down, forming a walkway from the deck of the ship to the port itself.

The tall female officer began to walk down the deck of the ship, her white cape billowing with each step she took due to the windy conditions the day brought. The officer, despite being 2 years younger, clearly towered over her queen when she walked up to her. Along with the officer was a even younger person, a Burmecian, clad in a black jacket and black pants, he was about half a foot shorter than the Alexandrian general, but he remained calm through it all.

It was Garnet who spoke first. “General Gisale. Stadtholder Samuel.”

“Your Majesty.” Gisale bowed her head before raising it.

“I’m glad that the two of you are safe.”

“If only the same could be said about my country, a lot of good friends and allies died to keep me from enemy hands.”
Samuel said, irked by the way he said this. Gisale too was solemn in how she felt about this, about her husband waging a war of destruction against an entire continent, for many against former friends. She knew what drove Cyril to madness, and even then, the fact of what happened still haunted her. But Gisale would not show a moment of weakness. She had to stay strong…

“If you may, please follow me to the antechamber.”
Garnet said, moving towards the castle, with the two individuals following her.
----
Anne Steiner

Anne had her sword drawn, just outside her barracks in Alexandria. While her commanding officer was away on a mission to Cleyra, she was training, trying to better herself for any upcoming missions that her and her unit, the Blue Winged Knights would have. Swinging her blade, letting her blade slice through the wind, her attacks were perfect, but she felt that she could do better, that she must do better. As she trained in her swordplay, she was watched over by the Blue Winged Knights’ Executive Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Vivian Hohenzollern. She leaned on the barrack’s wall, her dark black hair brushing alongside her dark skin, her helmet on the side. As she watched, an Alexandrian Army soldier came to Vivian, “Sir, General Gisale on Wettin has returned to Alexandria.” She said it loudly, enough for Anne to lose focus and nearly drop her sword. “The General has returned?” Anne said, sheathing her sword on the sheath on her side.

“Apparently so, Anne. Wait here while I gather the rest of the unit.”
Vivian said before turning and walking towards the castle.

Mr. 1000

After flying a ship to Tronto, Mr. 1000 walked his way To Alexandria, what he saw isn't what he drew in his book, he knew the city was crowded and very busy, but what he saw was... A city that still had the effects of the war, after 17 years, It still didn't look at all how Mr.1000 thought it would. People did still fill the streets but Mr. 1000 expected to see more of a celebration, of ships flying through the air, of people and parades on the street. This city was less festive than how Mr. 1000 heard it in stories about Vivi. Also the citizens looked at Mr. 1000 very suspiciously.

He wondered the city drawing buildings, people, roads, signs, anything he could. While people would stop and stare at him while he continued to draw, a citizen came up and pushed him to the ground.

"Stupid Mages!" the citizen said and ran.

Mr. 1000 tried to get up but others began to surround him.

"This war was all your peoples fault! this wouldn't of happen if it wasn't for you!" The citizens chanted.

Mr. 1000 began to cry "Please don't hurt me!" He begged as he tried to crawl away from the crowed that was surrounding him.

Fate Tailsman

Fate was training by himself with his lance in hand killing monsters right outside the city of Bermunica when a Soldier came up to him

"Sir, General Freya wants to see you right away!"

"Alright, I will be there right away!" Fate said as he rushed towards the castle.

The city was rebuilt after the war, mainly thanks to Alexanderia and Lindblum. The Castle was the first thing that the Burmecian's built after many of its citizens came back, and they built it exactly as it was built before it was destroyed.

"I am here General!" Fate said as he stood in front of Freya.

"Fate at ease, it is alright. How has your training been going?" Freya asked Fate

"Alright, but still not strong enough yet."

"Don't worry Fate you are plenty strong, but onto business, you are going to be heading to Alexandria, all you have to do is deliver a note to the Queen, can you do it?"

"Yes General!"

"Good our new airship will take you there, so please go right away."

"Right away General!" Fate said and took the note from Freya and left right away.

Fate entered the new Airship, it was amazing, it was a gift from Lindblum to help Burmecia rebuild. Fate got on the ship with only the pilot, so Fate sat by himself as he began to see the rebuilt city from the sky, it almost looked like nothing happened to it.

Fate closed his eyes to get some rest before getting to Alexanderia, it will be the first time he ever been to the city. He wondered if there city was as badly damaged as Burmecia and Lindblum was, and how they rebuilt it. Would it look like how he saw it in paintings, or would it look completely new?

There was a court area near the castle. Standing next to a small cobble street near the water was a vendor and a cart. The cart had a moogle sitting on top of a handle above two large wheels. The far side had two smaller wheels. It had a cover overhead for any sun or light drizzle. The smell of cooking meat traveled across the court. The vendor could be heard singing while dressed in green travel robes and wearing a large dark gray mushroom shaped hat. "~Hot dogs! Hot dogs! Hot dogs! Chili peppers and pickles Hot dogs! Hot dogs! Hot dogs! Cheese and beef burritos!~"

"For the love of espers, stop that singing!", a castle guard said to the vendor. The guard walked over and took off his helmet. Holding it to his side, he asked the vendor how much for a Rooster Special. It was a special dog with the works. After paying the vendor, the guard ate the hot dog like he hadn't eaten anything all day.

The vendor stayed quiet and watched as a sole airship touched down. He prepared his own Rooster Special since he himself was getting hungry. The cart moogle stayed silent and looked like it was going to sleep. The vendor tipped his hat at the guard as he saw the guard about to finish his lunch. "Thank you kind vendor!", he said to the man working the cart. The vendor smiled and replied, "Thank you. Tell your friends."

Lan Ester

It was another day out in the field for Lan Ester as he sheathed his katanas Mura and masa. After weeks of traveling, the sight of Alexandria came into view. Sighing with relief, Lan quickly ran to the city and soon enough, he was in the city. Sighing a bit, Lan looked around before a shadow appeared over him. Looking over his head, Lan saw an airship flying over him.

"Hmm. An airship eh." Lan muttered as she ran to follow it.

Lan followed it until he reached the moat gates where two Alexendrian female knights stopped him with swords out.

"Hold there. Do you have business at the castle?" One of the female guards demanded.

"I just want to see the airship that just came in." Lan muttered looking over them.

"The castle is restricted due to the war efforts." the other female guard replied.

"War? What war?" Lan asked.

"The war with Oielvert and their King, Cyril." The first female guard stated.

Lan nodded as he turned and left the moat gate to avoid agitating the guards even more.

"The war eh." Lan muttered.

Remilia Oveilia

The light shined through the inn as the red head haired summoner and black mage Remilia Oveilia woke up. She had reached Alexendria a week earlier just to take in the sights. Yawning crudely, Remilia got out of bed. The moment her feet hit the ground, five orbs with Holy energy shot from their various position on the floor to hovering around her. Having the orbs floating around her let her float a bit herself. Smiling a bit, she quickly got her stuff together as she left the inn. Being around Alexendria for a week, Remilia knew about the war with Oeilvert and Cyril.

"I wonder what's going to happen now." Remilia muttered as she walked around.

Everyone gave her a wide berth as her orbs allowed. Taking no heed to the crowd, Remilia walked to the closest cafe and soon enough, her order came out. Taking in the sun, Remilia spied at the castle moat's gate a green genome walking away. Interest pinged her as she eyed the genome.

"I never saw him here before." Remilia muttered as she waved a waitress over.

"That man, who is he?" Remilia asked looking at the waitress.

The waitress looked over to the genome and smiled suggestively.

"I don't know. But I think I might try for a bit of him myself, eh Remilia?" The waitress said.

Remilia smiled as she shook her head.

"Now now. Just go up to him and find out his name." Remilia laughed as the waitress nodded before leaving.

A few seconds later, Remilia saw a crowd starting to gather. Paying for her meal, she got up and started to walk over towards the crowd until she got within looking distance.

"Stupid Mages! This war was all your peoples fault! this wouldn't of happen if it wasn't for you!"

"Please don't hurt me!"

Remilia frowned as she heard the commotion.
Looking over the shoulders of everyone, she saw a black mage in the middle of the crowd. Instantly, she sent her five Holy Orbs into the middle of the crowd and had the spin around the black mage until the crowd backed up a fair distance away.

"What is this about?! Ganging up on a guy like him. Don't you have any shame?!" Remilia exclaimed as she pushed her way through the crowd to her orbs and the Black mage.

She knelled and held out a hand to the unknown black mage.

"Are you ok? People can be selfish when they are scared." Remilia replied as she sent a nasty look at the crowd.

The crowd took the hint as they dispersed quickly.

"What's your name Mister?" Remilia asked.

OOC: Sorry for the short post

Kuro Sohm | Entrance to Alexandria

A Small Transport Airship from Lindblum starts to land outside Alexandria, Kuro grabs his gear from the seat in front of him, He places his sword onto his back and his satchel's strap across his chest and starts to head off towards the front gates of Alexandria.

"Finally, Took me awhile to reach Alexandria, but I finally got here Gafgarion..." He smiled and approached the gates, after showing his ID to the guards he was permitted to enter the town, He didn't waste much time instead of looking around he ran down the main street to the town square where the castle gates we're located, he approached the gates and spoke to the Alexandrian Guard.

"Excuse me ma'am, I've come a long way from the Black Mage Village, would it be at all possible to have a audience with the King or Queen today?" He asked her politely, hoping he wouldn't get shunned after coming so far.

Queen Garnet XVI of Alexandria, Gisale von Wettin and Samuel, Stadtholder of Cleyra
Planning Stages

"How are we going to deal with the threat of Oeilvert? None of our allies have fully mobilized their armies for battle."
Samuel said to Garnet and Gisale. Gisale knew well the current predicament. Burmecia would not be able to mobilize fast enough to reach Cleyra in time, and would also have to contend with with a powerful Oeilvertian Army. Lindblum also had a quality army, and the Mist Continent's best air force, but their air force is currently engaged with Oeilvert's Imperial Air Fleet. The men and women responsible for leading the Oeilvert army made sure each and every angle was covered, but what she didn't know was why. Why would Cyril lash out like this?

"General, isn't your personal unit the only one fully mobilized for battle?"
Garnet said as they continued walking, "Of course, it would prove a good chance to test their capabilities for what they were trained for." Gisale of course referred to the Blue Winged Knights, a unit she personally trained herself. "However, even with the ten of us, I do not expect that we will be able to make it in time to save Cleyra, I'm afraid." Gisale responded to Garnet "But perhaps we can divide and split our unit to defend the major population centers of the continent, prevent their armies from getting further while we complete our mobilization efforts and drive the enemy from the Mist Continent."

Samuel smiled and said, "Do what you must, General. You know of your enemy, and you've trained each and every one quite well. I wish you the best of luck." He said to the general, while Garnet asked Samuel. "Would it be okay if I talk to Gisale privately? I've arranged living accomadations by the theater district in the meantime." Samuel nods, "Very well, let us speak at another time." Samuel began to turn away, accompanied by an Alexandrian knight to escort him to his home in exile.
----
Alexandrian Royal Guard

"Excuse me ma'am, I've come a long way from the Black Mage Village, would it be at all possible to have a audience with the King or Queen today?"

The royal guardswoman looked at the mercenary, "I'm sorry, but the king and queen are currently involved in important business today with the Stadtholder of Cleyra. You may stay in the city if you like, but they will not be available until tomorrow at the earliest." The guard said calmly before standing in position.

Atalanta Palaiologos
Das Land der Dichter, das Denker Und Söldner

The Palaiologos Duo would soon arrive at the city of Alexandria, a city of poets and thinkers. However, for all the glamors the city provided, the Country was at war, and where there was conflict, there were always the need for mercenaries, and thus a source of revenue for Atalanta Palaiologos. Atalanta was looking through the city, looking to see if she could find an audience with the King with her adoptive daughter and 'partner-in-crime' Vanessa.

As Atalanta walked towards the castle, she saw what seemed to be a familiar face, talking to the Alexandrian guards in front of the moat. It's no surprise that most mercenaries and bounty hunters tended to know one another, and this was no surprise when she saw Kuro. He changed a great deal since his mentor Gafgarion died, but the older man was still the top notch mercenary, even if he did look a little ridiculous with his cat ears, and she looked more like a giant. "Hey there." She said to the man, chuckling a little as she walked forward, meeting him on the step. "Looking to get a job from the Queen of Alexandria?"

Mei Saori: Reading – Treno

“Hmmm, so the 15th war between Lindblum and Alexandira started in 1601, and was the first war where magic was used, interesting.”

Mei sat in a small area within a building in the dark city of Treno, she was as always reading up on all the information she can on the world she lived in. Mei spent her days finding out about past wars, and travelling and meeting people who knew. After reading up on the 15th Lindblum War Mei slowly walked back to the bookshelf she was sitting next to and placed the book back in it right place. “I wished that there was a war recently, then I could meet somebody who experienced it first hand, and I could write one of these books, maybe even becoming famous.” Mei took a slight sigh before placing her blue hat back on her forehead, and began to walk away. On her way out, she saw in the corner of her eye a book she had never seen before, the book was called ‘The Mist Continental War,’ “Wait, the continent of Mist had a war, news to me.” Mei picked the book from the shelf and took a look at the back, “Discover the events that took place in 1800, WAIT that was the year I was born” Mei said to herself as she continued to read the back.

Mei opened the book and started reading, “So, this war was spilt into 2 sections, the Bhrane War and the Kuja Crisis, all this happened between the 15th January and 16th March.” Mei then went on to continue reading “Kuja was finally killed on the 9th of March by a group of 7 travellers, Zidane Tribal, Princess Garnet, Vivi, Eiko, Freya, Steiner and Amarant.” Mei then went to close the book and stood up, “Zidane and Garnet are now Queen and King of Alexandira, I must go see them at once!”

On her way out, a guard from the front ofd the town was running around in a rather huge panic “Hey, get your head together, what going on” Mei said to the guard. “Cleyra been attacked by the forces of Oeilvert, everybody is saying that they are after the entire area, were doomed, doomed I say.” Mei slapped the guard rather hard before talking to him in a firm voice “Hold on, it one city, that don’t mean there after the entire area of mist, just calm down already!” Mei then walked out of the city and got her staff out of her bag and placed it on her back “I wonder why Oeilvert took Cleyra, I would think that war would be the last thing they want after the Civil War” Mei mumbled to herself. “Oh well, I need to get to Alexandira and speak with the king and queen, so I can start writing about the Mist Continental War” on that, Mei started walking in the direction of Alexandira.

Kuro Sohm | Alexandria Castle Gate

The Soldier looked him over before speaking, possibly seeing if he wasa threat or not. "I'm sorry, but the king and queen are currently involved in important business today with the Stadtholder of Cleyra. You may stay in the city if you like, but they will not be available until tomorrow at the earliest."

"I see, Thank you very much then, I'll try again tomorrow." He bowed politely to the guard before turning back and walking back to the town square.

"Welp I guess I need to waste the day, What could I do here..." He thought about what Alexandria had to offer, there was a bar/theater, a bar that the Tetra players hang out at not much else outside of that.

Just as he was about to walk around he heard a familiar voice. "Hey there."

Aarons ears twitched and he turned around seeing a young woman walking towards him she seemed to be giggling a bit as she approached, when she was closer he remembered her, her name was Atalanta. "Looking to get a job from the Queen of Alexandria?"

He smirked. "More like doing my mentor a favor and trying to become a knight for Alexandria, I dislike mercenary life now anyways, I figured it'd be a good chance of pace to try and see if I could join up with their army. Although I was just turned away since they seem to be busy with some business with Cleyra. So if thats why your here you may be in for a wait till tomorrow."

The vendor started walking down to the square near the castle's gate. He had his right hand placed on the cart that was being pulled by the cart moogle. A leather strap was pulled over one of its shoulders as it flew with its tiny wings. He passed by a struggle in a crowd. The fight that broke out reminded him of old street days when gangs fought for power. The vendor guided the cart towards the center. His left hand held what was left of his lunch while he was still chewing. He noticed someone with glowing orbs revolving around her. She was helping a Black Mage get away from the mob. It looked liked he was about to be jumped.

After he leaned over to see if they were all right, he looked up at the crowd and saw it scattering. The vendor looked at the two and asked, "Hot dog?" The cart moogle sat on the handle of the cart and didn't say anything. Its eyes were wide and blinking. The area was getting clear again, and none of the guards seem to notice very much. Their posts were the only thing of concern. While the genome was loading more hot dogs and buns on the grill, he said, "You two seem all right. Have some food. No charge. My name is Panda."

Lan Ester

A call out was heard as it jarred Lan out of his thoughts. Looking towards the source, Lan saw another genome with what looks like cat ears on his head. He was talking to a huge woman. Walking a bit closer, Lan started picking up bits of the conversation the pair were having.

"Looking to get a job from the Queen of Alexandria?"

"Mercs eh." Lan muttered as he watched the duo again.

-------------
Remilia Oveilia

"Hot dog?"

That made Remilia jump a bit as she turned around. She set her eyes on the food vendor that strolled over to her and the Black mage she was helping out.

"Excuse me?" Remilia asked confused looking at the genome.

"You two seem all right. Have some food. No charge. My name's Panda."

Remilia smiled a bit as she took two pre-made hot dogs from Panda's food stand.

"Thanks Mister Panda. I'm sure this guy here is starving from all this nasty business of being blamed for something not in his control. I'm Remilia Oveilia by the way" Remilia replied as she took a bite out of her hot dog while offering the other hot dog to the Black Mage on the ground.

"Come on now. It's really tasty." Remilia said while holding the hot dog out to the black mage.

Vaughn gently stepped off the Airship’s gang plank and onto the stone pontoon. He breathed deeply, inhaling the salty air. It was a different taste than the air in Esto Gaza. He had grown use to the sharp sulphur flavour of the outdoors. Vaughn looked around. The harbour was relatively quiet for the time of day, the sound of the waves lapping against the wooden ship behind him the only noise to be heard save for the rapping of the sails in the wind.
“That’ll be all then Vaughn!” called a rough voice from the ship. Vaughn turned around and waved at Captain Medoza, the captain of the Airship. Medoza and Vaughn had becoming acquaintances during the Kuja Crisis but they were now firm friends.
“You have my thanks,” Vaughn called back, his long well-spoken tones contrasting starkly with Medoza’s. Medoza disappeared back inside the ship, presumably to prepare for take off. The crew of the Blackjack were good but needed Medoza to ‘encourage’ them to work. Vaughn walked swiftly to the end of the pontoon and stood to watch the Blackjack take off. The ship was a majestic sight, it had once been a tall ship, The Enterprise, but Vaughn had had it re-fitted and it became the Blackjack, first of the Esto Gaza fleet. Vaughn hopped aboard when Medoza was order to take an ambassador to Oeilvert. Vaughn merely asked for a detour. So here he was, in Alexandria. There was no turning back now; the Blackjack was gliding gently in the clear blue sky. Vaughn headed up to the stone steps, running his metal hand along the stone railing as he did so. He enjoyed the sharp scrapping sound made when he did this. As he reached the top of the stairs he was greeted by an Alexandrian Soldier.
“A-a-a Sir Vaughn?!” stammered the young guard. She couldn’t have been older the 16, but then he wasn’t much older when he started fighting.
“Yes, young ma’am, it is I,” said Vaughn as he broke a smile. The young guard was obviously new to the job but Vaughn was pleased that he was that well known.
“Should I inform the Queen?”
“Oh, no. Please don’t. If anyone asks tell them I’m still in Esto Gaza,” whispered Vaughn, his face no very serious.
“Sir?”
Vaughn gave no reply but saluted the young soldier. She blushed and gave an un-graceful salute back. She then jumped back in surprise, gasping slightly as Vaughn hopped onto to the low wall beside the stone bridge. He gave a short smile to the young guard before jumping of it, his coat flying behind him. This way would attract less attention- probably.
Vaughn sat with his legs crossed and a drink in his hand, thinking of the past. He had stopped in the Tavern before leaving the city, hoping to get a drink for the road. Perhaps it had been rude to not visit Garnet and Zidane; after all they were the Queen and King. But they would just ask him to do something and Vaughn wouldn’t be able to refuse. He needed to stay focused on getting to Lindblum to get the Indefatigable back. It had been damaged after his trip to Oeilvert, so badly so that it nearly dropped out of the sky and onto some houses in Lindblum. The Regent promised to fix it, which was strange because he had more important state matters to attend to. But Vaughn didn’t complain and he took a deep gulp from his glace and stretched. He sat up straight and leaned over to watch a game of Tetra Master that was going on in the adjacent table. The two players told him to shove off so Vaughn walked to the bar. He dropped some gil on the surface, making a pretty rapping sound as it did so.
“Another of the same, mi’lord?” asked the barmaid. Vaughn smiled and nodded, taking the drink gratefully when it was poured in front of him. But as he tasted the sweet liquid hit his tongue, he felt his coat being pulled from down below. He looked down and saw a little child tugging at his coat.
Vaughn smiled, “Yes, young sir?”
The barmaid behind the bar smiled. The little child spoke up, “The Knights of Pluto are coming to escort you to the Queen! Isn’t that great!”
Vaughn’s smile fell and he ran to the door, grabbing his spear that was propped up against his table. The Knights were indeed coming down the street, calling for Sir Vaughn to meet with the Queen. Vaughn groaned and fell back inside.
“Here,” he said, his voice losing some of its upper class, and tossed a some gil at the barmaid. Vaughn jogged up the stairs and into one of the up stairs rooms. How much gil had he just given her? 100? 200? He didn’t know but it wasn’t important, he could get some more. Vaughn opened the latch of the window and slid onto the balcony. The Knights were already below him and they called up at him when they caught sight of him.
“Sir Vaughn, the Queen would wish to speak with you!”
“Tell her I’m not here,” Vaughn called back and leapt across the street and onto the roof. He stood up and dusted of his coat, taking pride in his looks.
“Sir Vaughn!” cried one of the Knights.
Vaughn sighed and began to run towards the exit, where he hoped that Seraph would be waiting for him.
Vaughn jumped down of the wall of the city and onto the cool green grass of the plateau. Vaughn looked around; there was no Airship in sight. On a rock was, however, a piece of browned paper the rustled in the wind. Vaughn immediately recognised the hand writing as Seraph’s, the sharp, slanted lines crossing the paper. The letter was an apology to Vaughn from Seraph about not being able to make it.
“God Damn Seraph!” cried Vaughn, tearing up the paper and casting it into the gentle breeze that drifted lazily over the land. The paper moved elegantly across the field and into the air, where it disappeared from Vaughn’s sight. He sighed and turned around. He would spend the next few days in Alexandria before catching a Cargo Ship to Dali or a ship straight to Lindblum. Vaughn leapt over the wall and landed gracefully in the street over it, his feet kicking up some dust as he landed. But as he raised his head he met the shinning steel armour of the Knights. As Vaughn brought himself to his full height, he saw the faces of the Knights, all of which were beaming with pride that they got Sir Vaughn.

Mr. 1000

Mr. 1000 saw the orbs fly into the crowed and the crowed began to panic as a female Genome come forward to help him.

"Are you ok? People can be selfish when they are scared." The Summoner asked as she sent a nasty look at the crowd.

"Y-y-yes I am... Thank you kindly" Mr.1000 said nervously, slowly getting back up to his feet, and grabbing his notebook and pencil.

The crowd took the hint as they dispersed quickly.

"What's your name Mister?" The Summoner asked.

"My name is Mr.1000, thank you again Miss Genome" Mr. 1000 said to her.

"Hot dog?"

Mr. 1000 and the gnome both jumped back as another genome came in front of them
"Excuse me?" The Summoner asked the vendor genome.

"You two seem all right. Have some food. No charge. My name's Panda."

Mr. 1000 watched Panda make the hot dogs for the Summoner and Mr.1000

"Thanks Mister Panda. I'm sure this guy here is starving from all this nasty business of being blamed for something not in his control. I'm Remilia Oveilia by the way, Come on now. It's really tasty." Remilia said while holding the hot dog out for Mr. 1000

"Thank you very much Mr. Panda and Miss Remilia" Mr. 1000 said as he began to eat the hot dog.

Mr. 1000 loved the taste of the hot dog and ate it very quickly.

"Thank you two very much again. I didn't mean to cause so much trouble," Mr. 1000 said, "Can you two show me around the city? I am new to Alexandria and heard so many great things about it." Mr. 1000 asked Panda and Remilia, "I can pay you or get you whatever you want for showing me around."

Fate Tailsman, Alexandria

Fate entered the Alexandria late in the evening, the airship landed on the outskirts of the city. Fate got off and began to look around the city, "So this is Alexandria, looks bigger than I imagined it to be." Fate saw Alexandria Castle in the distance and began to walk towards it.

On his way there he saw a few Knights heading towards the inn,“Sir Vaughn, the Queen would wish to speak with you!” Fate heard them say and he looked up and saw another knight on the second floor of the inn.

“Tell her I’m not here,” Fate heard the knight say, then saw him leap across the street and onto the roof.

"Not bad," Fate said to himself as he saw the soldiers give chase, "This could be fun, and might help me get to the Queen faster."

Fate began to follow the Knights around the city until he saw them corner the knight they were chasing.
Fate wasn't dressed as no soldier so he thought any action he took wouldn't compromise his mission or
Burmecia, so he quickly looked around and saw only one vendor and no one else around, he quickly ran up to the vendor "how much for everything in your cart plus the cart?"

The vendor looked confused, "excuse me, you want everything and the cart?"

"that is what I said quickly!"

"umm.. 1000 gil?"

"Done!" Fate quickly pulled out the money plus an extra 100 gil, "Now walk away quickly!"

Fate made sure that the vendor walked away before he pushed the cart right at the knights. He saw the knights look to late and they all got hit by the cart filled with watermelons, Fate quickly came in as if acting like a vendor
"I am so sorry Knights! I just lost control of the cart! Can you please forgive me?" Fate said as he turned around and saw the knight that was cornered and wink then whispered "I'd get out of here unless you want to stay caught."

OOC: @Baseret @Kyreaan Sorry for the delay was kinda busy the last few days.

As herself and her 'mother' approached the gates of Alexandria Castle, Vanessa watched Atalanta talk to someone she assumed to be an old friend. Vanessa largely ignored him however, turning her back to him and folding her arms dismissively, waiting for their exchange to be over so they could move on. Vanessa wasn't one for talking to people she didn't like so she simply waited, at least until she picked up on him saying that they wouldn't be getting in for the time being.

Upon hearing this she sighed to herself and began to walk off, there was no point hanging around for no reason so she returned to the plaza before heading towards the pier to relax, narrowly avoiding a pickpocket as she did so. As she approached the pier she sat down and watched over the sea, it was quieter here which she preferred. She was sure Atalanta would come to find her once her business was finished with, and Vanessa had nothing else to do right now anyway.

Panda looked at his cart flying off after getting 1,000 gil. He said to the two beside him and the cart moogle hovering with Panda's pole, "Cool. I got money for the theater now. I'm going to need a new cart though." Panda grabbed both Mr. 1000 and Remilia by the back of their cloths. He didn't want to get too much attention now that the cart was thrown by some stranger. Panda ran with both of them in his hands off of the ground. The cart moogle flew following Panda into an alley. The pole weapon it held was painted red with eight sides. It had a golden head on one end with the other looking like a larger root dipped in gold. It had black runes covering the ends of the shaft. They ran through the part of the city some people warn about. There were shops with black magic items and strange things in jars. Panda stopped for a moment, "Wait. I need to get something." He ran quickly into such a shop, and he came out not too long afterwards with a jar with something green and pickled. Panda placed the item into his robes. "OK. Let's go."

He started running again showing the two the way to the theater. Panda himself had been in the area before, but he doesn't come by the theater. He grabbed the wanted sign. After running into the entrance, Panda waved both of his arms outward and said to the crew, "Haaaa! We're here to join!" He turned around to Mr. 1000 and Remilia and said quietly, "Now, play along. You two don't really look like you're fitting in the city. You two just became actors."

The cart moogle sat on Panda's shoulder. Panda grabbed his pole from the moogle and leaned it against a table. He began to go through the wardrobe with only a nod and a wave from the director. He needed to find something that might work making the trio look they belong at the theater It wasn't going to be hard since they already look like they might be in costume. Only a few differences could change how people react. A Black Mage or Summoner theater character with actual powers would be a fun surprise. Panda started smelling the cooking of hot dogs. He turned his head and noticed a kitchen. There was also a theater cart outside the back exit.

Mathais fell out of his tent and onto the hot arid earth of the Outer Continent. After waking up in an ethereal green pit, Mathais staggered his way up the roots of the tree. He could barely remember his own name and couldn’t recall anything of his past. But something drove him to the exit of the tree, something he couldn’t explain currently. He was completely naked save for a silver necklace that was adorned with a brilliant jewel. His only defence against the bizarre melange of monsters that constantly impeded his progress was a simple wooden Mage Staff that had been placed in a chest. But this would not have been enough and at every battle Mathais was forced to flee. Upon arriving at the exit of the immense tree, he was greeted by an absurd pink creature that named itself a Moogle. It graciously leant a Tent to Mathais in exchange for delivering a letter that barely seemed worth sending. But Mathais accepted and continued to stagger to the base of the Iifa tree were he promptly collapsed. But now as he awoke roughly he could see the face of his saviour. She was sitting outside the tent, sunning herself in the warm morning sun. Mathais suddenly froze up and grabbed at what he thought was his naked body only to be relieved that his was dressed in a simple cotton shirt and leather trousers.
“I hope you give me them back,” smiled the woman. She turned around and looked at Mathais, nearly laughing from the sight of him. His trousers were far too tight and his shirt hung loose around. His black hair was wild and his face tired. Yet he still tried to retain some upper-class stature and stood up tall and proud.
“I’m Emily,” said the lady, hoping to break the ice. She was a pretty lady, 28 or 27, with long red hair that fell about her shoulders. She wore brown trousers and a short green jacket that was adorned with silver buttons and black laces.
“My name is Mathais, my lady,” said Mathais and stooped into a low bow.
Emily giggled, “There is really no need for that you know.” Mathais quickly stood up straight and sat down beside Emily. “I’m going to port Iifa if you wish to come along.”
Mathais stopped and stare at Emily for a minute, “Port Iifa?”
“Jeez, were have you been. Well hidin’ I guess ‘cause if anyone sees your horn they gonna think the summoners are all back.”
“Horn?” said Mathais slowly and he moved his hand cautiously to his forehead and ran his hand along the smooth surface if his horn.
“Are you really feeling okay?” said Emily
Mathais snapped his hand away, “May I ask why you care, my lady,” he clipped.
Emily looked hurt but relaxed her face back into a smile. “Curiosity,” she answered. She stood up and dusted herself down. “Come on, help me get this tent down. I want to get to the port today.”

OCC: Give me a day Shace the Great and I'll have Vaughn's response up.

Vaughn
-------------------------
"I am so sorry Knights! I just lost control of the cart! Can you please forgive me?" said the street vendor. "I'd get out of here unless you want to stay caught," he said with a wink.
Vaughn thanked his saviour, bowing respectively. “Do most street vendors carry a lance?” asked Vaughn as he caught a glimpse of the spear the man carried. “A Dragoon are we?”
“I am,” said the man, “My name’s Fate. Am I to guess that you are Sir Vaughn?”
“Indeed, but do I not know you?” Fate shrugged his shoulders. “You grew up in Burmecia?” pressed Vaughn, determined to find out more about the man.
“Don’t all great Dragoons?” answered fate with a smile.
“Hmm, I thought I had seen you before. Anyway, I had better leave this place before anyone else shows up.” Vaughn busied himself by fixing his coat and looking for the best place to leave. But something caught his eye on one of the guards. A brown bag was secured tightly to the waist of one of the knights. Vaughn stooped down and popped open the hard leather flap of the bag. Inside was a small scroll bound tightly with a strand of red ribbon and emblazoned with the royal seal. Vaughn motioned to open the seal but a grown from the guard urged him to move on. “Well, do you want to come with me?” asked Vaughn, quietly happy that he had found another dragoon in Alexandria.
“What about the Queen?” asked Fate.
Vaughn waved his hand, “Nah, I’ll go see Garnet later.” With a single bound, Vaughn hopped up onto the rooftop above, “Well, are you coming?”

OOC: Two things Mobius. First please try not to double post. Secondly, your post is a blatant case of godmodding, and I request that you please edit your post that does not involve you playing as Shace's character please. Thank you. :)

Atalanta Palaiologos
On Gafgarion's Memory

Theme-Kuro's Theme

"More like doing my mentor a favor and trying to become a knight for Alexandria, I dislike mercenary life now anyways, I figured it'd be a good chance of pace to try and see if I could join up with their army. Although I was just turned away since they seem to be busy with some business with Cleyra. So if thats why your here you may be in for a wait till tomorrow."

Atalanta smirked back at Kuro, moving to place a hand on his shoulder. "I bet that old geezer would be very proud of you if he saw you right now." She said with a light chuckle. While she didn't know Gafgarion all that well, she always figured he would've passed on something about being a knight to him if Kuro was looking to become a knight right now. "Well, I suppose that blows over my plans for now. I'm thinking of taking Vanessa with me and travel to Lindblum, see what ol' Ciddy's up to." Atalanta said, "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to get something to eat, my treat?" She asked Kuro. Although she knew very well that Vanessa could handle herself, even if alone.

Annelise Steiner, Gisale von Wettin and the Blue Winged Knights
The Knights United

The sun was starting to set over Alexandria, and Anne was already starting to grow tired, breathing hard and feeling generally weary through her training. As she got on one knee to catch her breath, she was surprised by a voice coming from afar. "Working hard as usual, are you Lieutenant Steiner?" Anne quickly stood up and turned around, looking to see General Gisale looking at her, giving her a slight smile as she walked up towards Anne, placing a hand on her shoulder. "General..." Anne said, sheathing her sword.

A few minutes later, all of the members of the Blue Winged Knights had arrived at the barracks. "Hey Boss." One of the soldiers said, "What's our orders?"

Gisale was the first to speak, with all of the members looking at their glorious Commanding Officer. "As you all already know, the Oeilvert Army has besieged the city of Cleyra, and have come close to succeeding in capturing the city. The armies of the Mist Continent will not be able to mobilize in time to save Cleyra, and the Queen fears that should Oeilvert press the attack, they would catch Burmecia and Lindblum off guard."

"I see, so what do you want us to do?"
Vivian, the Executive Officer from before spoke out. "For the time being, the Blue Winged Knights will split up to provide support for our allies and defend the citizens and civilians of each nation. I will give you each assignments on where you will be headed off to at sunrise. But be prepared to head out. Once you all have recieved your assignments we will be leaving immediately. Use Mognet to keep in contact. Is that understood."

"Yes, ma'am!" The rest of the soldiers said in unison.

Lan Ester

After overhearing the conversation a bit, Lan decided to make his way to the piers. While he was in Alexandria as a bit of a pit stop, Lan didn't know where his next stop would be. His feet kept him walking until he reached the pier. There he saw a little girl sitting while looking out at the sea. Smiling a bit, Lan walked over to her.

"Nice play to get away from the city noise. You don't mind if I sit here right?" Lan asked the girl as he sat down.

All Lan wanted right now was to figure out what was happening in the area and what news he missed out while on the road.

Remilia Oveilia

"Cool. I got money for the theatre now. I'm going to need a new cart though."

"What?" Remilia managed to say before she was taken with panda via her back shirt. Her orbs followed her a bit as the summoner struggled to remove herself from the wierd dragging position she was in. She was dragged to a shop and soon enough was dragged again with panda and hopefully Mr.1000 down some streets until he finally stopped.

"What was that about?" Remilia asked looking at the man who dragged her.

"Haaaa! We're here to join!"

"What?!" Remilia exclaimed as she then saw the paper in panda's hands. A job poster for actors.

"Now, play along. You two don't really look like you're fitting in the city. You two just became actors."

Remilia, to say the least, was not pleased.

"Wait one second Panda. I'm just here as a traveler. I have no intention to become an actor at all." Remilia whispered back to panda while her orbs were slowly flying closer to Remilia.

Kuro Sohm

"I bet that old geezer would be very proud of you if he saw you right now."

He laughed at her comment. "Yeah, he always wanted to be a knight somewhere but, His reputation when he was younger and more well evil.. Prevented him from becoming one, I figure I'd at least live his dream for him and have something to fight for that doesn't involve money."

"Well, I suppose that blows over my plans for now. I'm thinking of taking Vanessa with me and travel to Lindblum, see what ol' Ciddy's up to." Atalanta said, "I suppose it wouldn't hurt to get something to eat, my treat?"

"Same Here, I can't do much till I talk with Queen Garnet or King Zidane, I was gonna see if Alexandria needed any new recruits, Ahh is she still a moody girl? And Sure, I was wondering on what to do in town to waste the day anyways." He replied to her question and his stomached growled pretty loudly. "Heh... I hope you don't mind if I order a good amount, been awhile since I've had a good meal, that airship ride to Alexandria took most of my funds." He sighed, this was one of the downsides to being a mercenary, if you can't find a job you can't eat without either stealing from the market or resorting to eating monster meat.

"Cool. I got money for the theatre now. I'm going to need a new cart though." Panda said

"What?" Remilia managed to say before Panda grabbed both Remilia and Mr. 1000

"Uh-Umm... Wh-what's going on? Where are we going?" Mr. 1000 asked as they continued being dragged through Alexandria.

"What was that about?" Remilia asked looking at the man who dragged her.

"Haaaa! We're here to join!"
Panda Exclaimed

"What?!" Remilia exclaimed

"Now, play along. You two don't really look like you're fitting in the city. You two just became actors." Panda said

"Wait one second Panda. I'm just here as a traveler. I have no intention to become an actor at all." Remilia whispered back to panda while her orbs were slowly flying closer to Remilia.

Mr. 1000 looked confused not sure what was going on. "I j-j-just wanted to see the sites. What is all this?" Never seeing a play let alone being in a play before Mr.1000 looked confused at all the costumes and people walking around.

Fate Tailsman, Alexandria

“What about the Queen?” Fate asked Vaughn while they were getting away from the Knights.

Vaughn waved his hand, “Nah, I’ll go see Garnet later.” With a single bound, Vaughn hopped up onto the rooftop above, “Well, are you coming?”

Fate was unsure what to do, he still had to deliever the message to the queen, but at the same time he knew it would be a while before he could see the queen anyways.

"Well why not?" Fate said as he jumped ontop of the roof with Vaughn, "I am always glad to help out a fellow Dragoon, but I do need to deliver a message to the queen as soon as I can, so I am willing to help till I can see the queen... So where is it that you are going to head Vaughn?"
