[RP] Final Fantasy IX: Scars of Terra (Remake)

Panda looked at both Remilia and Mr. 1000. He didn't think they quite got it. He wasn't suggesting that they all become a part of an act. The cart moogle started to fly towards the theater cart and sat on the handle. It looked like it already claimed it for itself. Panda said to Remilia and Mr. 1000, "We aren't really going to be main actors. See? The ad says they're only looking for standbys. We go around and basically promote the theater while looking like we're a part of the group. People will think we're in costume. I was thinking of going to Lindblum."

A stage director walked up to Panda and slapped 500 gil into Panda's right hand. He said to Panda, "Thanks! Take the cart anywhere you see people. Welcome to our troupe." That's when everyone in the building turned to the three and all said, "Welcome!" Then, they turned around and scattered. Panda watched the spectacle and turned to Remilia and Mr. 1000 again. Panda continued while changing out his robe, "We can see sites if you two want. I'm taking the cart though. Afterwards, the Festival of the Hunt is going to begin in Lindblum."

Mei: Heading Towards Alexandira

Mei has been travelling for a few days now, moving from one place to another heading towards the city of Alexandira, Mei decided to start making a camp fire as night had started to fall around her. She sits there with her water she gathered earlier in the day, she slowly takes a sip from the bottle, and then starts to think to herself. ‘I wonder what Alexandira will be like? I hope that it a nice town with lots of friendly people.’ On that, she picked her book up that she took from the library and then started reading from it, the book was a fiction book about a couple who lived in different areas of the world.

‘I wonder, will I ever find that one person?’ Mei thought to herself.

The next Morning

The golden sun was rising over the mountain just ahead, Mei sat up and lifted up her arms. “YAWWWWWWNNNNNNNNN!” Mei got on her feet and looked at her surroundings, “OH CRAP, I should hurry up and get to Alexandira!” and on that, Mei grabbed all her things, and carried on her journey to Alexandira.

Mathais
-----------------

“Look at the fools,” muttered Emily under her breath. Mathais sat close to her, but on a dusty stone bench rather than the high wall that Emily had perched herself on. She sat swinging her legs, whistling for most of the time but often commenting on the passers by under her breath, as if talking to herself but Mathais suspected that he was meant to hear them. They had fond a nice sunny spot near the harbour, the sea breeze a welcome respite from the harsh sun. Emily had been talking about a small group of young men and women who were laughing out loud and talking loudly of how many monsters they intended to kill.

“And how might that be?” asked Mathais sharply, looking up from the ground he had been staring at while he waited for Emily to continue her journey.
“Well just look at them, decked out in the latest weapons but without a clue how to actually use them. I hope one of them can use magic, otherwise they aren’t going to make it back.”
“Why do you care?”
Emily stopped swinging her legs and jumped of the wall, a small cloud of dust being kicked up upon her landing. She collapsed into the bench with Mathais, leaning back on the cool stone wall behind them. “Are you suggesting that you do not care?”
“I don’t know them, I hopefully never will know them and I don’t see how there deaths will affect me in any way.” Mathais hardened his expression and stared at Emily. “The only person that I need to worry about being alive is myself.”
Emily shook her head and stood up, stretching her arms and yawning. It was still only mid-day but the warm sun made people sleepy. “Come on, let’s see if that boat is here yet.”

Vaughn
----------------------------

1. "Well why not?" Fate said as he jumped ontop of the roof with Vaughn, "I am always glad to help out a fellow Dragoon, but I do need to deliver a message to the queen as soon as I can, so I am willing to help till I can see the queen... So where is it that you are going to head Vaughn?"

“Well first I’m going to read this note,” said Vaughn as he snapped open the seal of the scroll, breaking the wax seal. He let the ribbon float gently in the mid-day breeze, wondering if it would be carried away to a far off land. Vaughn flicked his wrist and the note unravelled before him, his metal hand making a clink as he flicked. The beautiful slopped lettering of Queen Garnet filled the page, the striking black ink looking magnificent against the parchment. Vaughn was pleased to see that she had taken the time to write it her self, as well as sign it. But he quickly came to realise the reason she had written the note herself. Without waiting for Fate to ask for the letter's contents, Vaughn spoke:
“Cleyra had been attacked,” said Vaughn, concern flicking across his features, “I have to get to the castle immediately.”

Atalanta Palaiologos

"Same Here, I can't do much till I talk with Queen Garnet or King Zidane, I was gonna see if Alexandria needed any new recruits, Ahh is she still a moody girl?

Atalanta sighed when she was asked that. "No kidding. But at least I can't say I'm not still trying, right?" She said with a hearty chuckle, before sighing, "But Vanessa will find her way. I know she will."

"Heh... I hope you don't mind if I order a good amount, been awhile since I've had a good meal, that airship ride to Alexandria took most of my funds."

Atalanta didn't seem surprised, she often had to eat a good amount anyway. "Why not, I usually walk with a lot of money from my jobs." She smirked a little. "Let's find Vanessa first, don't want to leave her alone for too long." She said calmly, looking to go and do just that.

Gisale von Wettin and King Zidane of Alexandria

The sun already began to set over the Alexandrian Mountains, the mission was set, their orders ready to be carried out at the crack of dawn, all that was needed was some good shuteye. But Gisale had other things on her mind, and as she looked over the clear blue seas from the mountain cliff overlooking Alexandria Harbor, she thought to herself about all the events that brought her here, all the things that she believes must be done to protect Gaia from Oeilvert...from Cyril's mysterious, yet wrathful intention.

Gisale's shoulder pauldrons, along with her cape, stood on a rock tower right behind her, leaving her with just her uniform, her off-white colored tail swaying from side to side, her eyes closed, her arms crossed, as if she was paying little attention to the world around her. As she stood there, she had felt a disturbance in the air, however she felt that disturbance was not at all hostile, it was a familiar person that she had known for a while now.

Gisale sighed, her eyes opened as she looked out into the sky, the birds flying over into the horizon as the wind blew, her hair swaying to the left with the wind "For a former thief, you've lost your touch...Your Majesty."

"Aww, you're no fun. I'll sneak up on you one day and you wouldn't even notice."
Zidane said, usually in formal times he would wear a more formal regalia, but instead, he was wearing a purple vest over a white sleeveless shirt and purple cargo pants.

"What is it that you need Your Majesty? I do not have anything to report." Gisale turned around to face Zidane, her hands descending down to the sides of her body.

Zidane sighed, "I've heard about your plan from Garnet, and I don't like it."

"I know, but it is the only way to see this through. I've no one to blame but myself for the crisis that has unfolded these past few years."

"I know you're a soldier, but are you really willing to do this on your own?"
Zidane argued, and Gisale responded, maintaining the same level of calmness as possible, "I will do what I must to protect the world. If I must lay my life down, even if it's against Cyril..." She paused, casting some doubt on herself. "...even if it's against my husband...I will."

There was a brief silence between the two, before Gisale turned around for a moment. "You still love him, don't you?" Zidane asked sincerely, and Gisale turned around for a brief moment. "I..."

Kuro Sohm

"No kidding. But at least I can't say I'm not still trying, right? But Vanessa will find her way. I know she will."

She was chuckling while saying this. "True, I just hope she becomes more open in the future."

"Why not, I usually walk with a lot of money from my jobs." She smirked a little. "Let's find Vanessa first, don't want to leave her alone for too long."

"Don't remind me, you've had more of a knack for saving up funds than I do, I'm normally stuck eating fruit from trees or heaven forbid some monster meat, its always tough and stringy.." He sighed to himself dreading those thoughts. "Maybe, I'll finally be able to have some decent meals if I get added to the Alexandrian knights." Kuro said with a hopeful look in his eye. "Alright, lets go find her, any idea where she would be at?" Kuro Asked Atalanta

Vanessa kept looking across the lake, taking in the peace and quiet as she waited for the night to arrive, as she began to get comfy and relaxed she heard an unfamiliar voice behind her, sighing and grumbling to herself she noticed him sit down next to her.

"Nice play to get away from the city noise. You don't mind if I sit here right?"

Vanessa ignored him briefly but seeing that he wasn't moving on, without turning her head began to communicate "What do you want?" being so tiny, she wondered if he was dangerous, not that she was phased either way, levelling the entire town would be no huge task for her if he decided to pose a threat. Vanessa tried to relax however, there would be little purpose in destroying things over a single suspicion.

Lan Ester

"What do you want?"

Lan smirked a bit as the girl asked for his intentions. Anyone who looked at the place could easily know his intent. But Lan decided to try the nice and polite card first before anything else.

"Nothing much. It's not a crime here to sit down and enjoy the view is it? Besides, considering that you are here, you could be here to escape the noise of the city as well. I'm Lan Ester by the way. What's your name?" Lan muttered as he looked over to the girl.

Now that he had a closer look, she had a classical black mages hat Lan was used to seeing as well as hints of blue hair. Ignoring that for the moment, Lan stretched a bit before relaxing.

"How long have you been in Alexandria and is there any sights to see in this area?" Lan asked looking back out towards the water.

--------------
Remilia Oveilia

"We aren't really going to be main actors. See? The ad says they're only looking for standbys. We go around and basically promote the theatre while looking like we're a part of the group. People will think we're in costume. I was thinking of going to Lindblum."

Remilia nodded a bit as the director walked over to Panda and then left. Soon afterward, the troupe themselves came out and welcomed them before going back to what they were doing.

"We can see sites if you two want. I'm taking the cart though. Afterwards, the Festival of the Hunt is going to begin in Lindblum."

"I guess. I'll come with you to Lindblum. Just don't pull this kind of stuff." Remilia stated as the holy orbs floated back to their normal distance around Remilia.

One of the female actors handed Remilia a horn headband that matched her skin color as well as a robe that looked a lot like a dress. Walking away to a women's changing area, Remilia returned with the headband and robe on.

"I don't think I like this a lot." Remilia stated looking at both Panda and Mr. 1000.

"Nothing much. It's not a crime here to sit down and enjoy the view is it? Besides, considering that you are here, you could be here to escape the noise of the city as well. I'm Lan Ester by the way. What's your name?"

"... Vanessa" she muttered, nonchalantly, Vanessa wasn't much of a conversationalist and tried to keep her responses as short as possible.

"How long have you been in Alexandria and is there any sights to see in this area?"

"I'm not from here and if you want a tour guide why don't you ask a soldier?" Vanessa replied, rather abrasively, realising how her tone had changed she simply turned her head away, she was never good with people aside from Atalanta.

Mr. 1000

"I don't think I like this a lot." Remilia stated looking at both Panda and Mr. 1000.

Mr. 1000 looked confused at both Remilia and Panda, "I-I umm..." Mr. 1000 was unsure of what he was suppose to do, or say, "I was hoping to see Lindblum too, so I will join you two also."

Mr. 1000 looked at both Panda and Remilia "How are we going get there? Airship? Walking?"

Fate Talisman

"What was that!" looked at Vaughn in shocked, he quickly opened his note and found out that Burmecia was requesting reinforcements to Burmecia, "I will join you to see the Queen at once"

Fate was in shocked with the news that as both Vaughn and himself were heading to the castle he didn't say one word, all he could think to himself was 'not again, our people will not be driven from their homeland again.'

Lan Ester

"I'm not from here and if you want a tour guide why don't you ask a soldier?"

Lan shrugged as he looked back to the pier.

"I'll pass on that for now. I just want to enjoy the sound of the ocean. So if you are not from Alexandria, where are you from and do you have a traveling companion?" Lan asked as he took his two Katana in one sheath off of his back and placed it to the ground beside him.

-------------
Remilia Oveilia

"How are we going get there? Airship? Walking?"

"I don't want to walk there all the way so I hope we can take an airship there. Who knows. We might get lucky with cabins only nobles get." Remilia smiled as she looked at Mr.1000.

"Besides, I heard Lindblum looks great from the air." Remilia pointed out.

Panda said to Remilia and Mr. 1000, "Moogle. We can travel by moogle if you wish. You already look like a noble in a costume with that dress and headband. We can also get there by airship." The theater cart was being prepared by the cart moogle. It smiled when it heard about the airship idea. It would hate having to fly all the way to Lindblum while pulling the three in a cart. Flying for Panda alone was bad enough. He continued, "I'll leave it up to you. We could get first class. I'll leave the dress up to you too."

The cart moogle was jumping on the cart handle when it heard Panda mention first class on an airship. It really liked the idea. The theater started to do part of their act. All of the areas were clean. Different band members came out and got into positions. One of the main women who was also a dancer waved to the three because she knew they were leaving soon. The band began to play as Panda waited on Remilia and Mr. 1000.

"I'll pass on that for now. I just want to enjoy the sound of the ocean. So if you are not from Alexandria, where are you from and do you have a traveling companion?"

Vanessa kept her head turned and folded her arms, she was starting to wish she didn't sit down here now. "I don't live anywhere, and I do"

Vanessa wondered where Atalanta was now, she was quickly feeling awkward talking to this young man. With no announcement Vanessa stood up and looked around for Atalanta while staying stood by the water.

John Bridges - From Shame to Fame
---------------------------------------------------------------------

(2 weeks prior to this day)

A faint breeze, tousling almost playfully with the lightest, gentlest of hair one could find these days. A sensation similar that to a tickle amused our hero of unearthly beauty, bringing forth a smile so benevolent that one would, especially when it comes to teenage girls, fall in love with the subject. Yet there was one stubborn ol’ lady who ignored the knight of the legends. As ironic as life is, that lady had the heart of our fabulous lad tightly tied to her. Oh how jealous the girls would have been if only they had known how much “Chocoa” meant for John, the unlikely hero of the century. He was, if to be accepted a man by the ancient standards, a man of tall stature, unmatched allure, fame and what’s most important of them all, wealth beyond the riches of kingdoms’. Yet Chocoa was, by no doubts, the ugliest specimen of Chocobos ever to have set their feet upon Gaia. But Lord Bridges, which is just another name for our character of interest, believed there to be some sort of equilibrium in the world. If a Chocobo was truly ugly, there must have been something to compensate for the lack of looks. Oh and boy was he right. Chocoa was the fastest thing on the planet, only lacking in endurance. Yet for one reason or another, John had not been able to win a single stage of Chocobo Grand Prix till this day.

“By no doubt will the fans of Oglops find it ironic that there are no Bridges on top of the Bridges tonight” A clean, loud and powerful voice rung in the ears of every spectator who had taken it upon them to come and witness the soon to happen surprise of the professional era of Chocobo Racing, the up and coming sport that had conquered the hearts of tens of thousands. It was said believed by many and more that in the next five years or so the fame of Chocobo Racing would surpass even that of the most famous of all festivals, the Festival of the Hunt.

“ Lorette Rivers along with the Oglops of Dali have been dominating the race, one attack after another. There's no race in whole Gaia as fascinating to watch as the Grand Prix of Treno's Bridges” The most crowded of the surroundings, the main spectacle stand was filled to the inch. The very moment the first of chocobos passed, deafening cheers so loud to be enough to wake the dead filled the stadium.

“ The leaders are charging recklessly one burst after another. You can almost feel the suffering of the last survivors in the main group. It’s no wonder that Chocoa was left behind in the dust. What comes as a surprise is that the whole Bridges team is far behind. While they might have an odd chance to catch up the leaders, Chocoa is so far behind that his race is as good as over." Three gigantic chocobos from the Forgotten Continent were in the lead, famous for their never ending energy, followed up by five slightly lesser “pets”. Behind them a few lone wolves along with a pack of three Bridges Racing pros. And then in complete solitude was a struggling wee chocobo. Decorated in silk and jewellery, the supposedly quickest feet belonged to Chocoa, the pet of the famous John Bridges, master of Tetra Master, actor of the decade and son of the wealthiest man in Lindblum.

“Don’t ya worry Chocoa, we have this in the bag!” Chocoa did not understand why were they not running at their most and juggling behind in solitude. Even her slow mates were up ahead. She released a little squeak, to express her dissatisfaction.

“ What’s going on now? I can’t believe my eyes. Three laps to go and the Bridges team has decreased their tempo while the leaders are releasing yet another attack, increasing the distance between them and Bridges by a meter per meter.

“ See, there they are, it’s all gonna go well!” Full of confidence, John kicked his boot, resulting in a sudden sprint.

“ Can you see that! It’s Chocoa, he’s caught up with the rest of Bridges. I can’t believe them, Robbe of Team Bridges has started a hard on sprint, followed closely by the rest of their company. He can’t possibly expect to last more than half a lap with this tempo!” The magical voice of the commentator was spot on. Half a lap later the sudden outburst was history. But only for him.

“ Lily has taken over the lead and pushed the tempo even higher. I can’t believe this, they are catching the leaders.”

“We can do it!!!” And then it started, the final sprint. A kilometre left till the finish, leaders a good safe and sound 500 meters ahead. Chocoa charged out from cover and left the rest of the team into shadows, running faster than any chocobo ever has. Only 800 meters later and the ugly choco flew by his competitors as if they had been standing put. Seconds later and John Bridges was crowned the winner of the annual Treno Grand Prix.

Atalanta Palaiologos
Finding Vanessa

"Maybe, I'll finally be able to have some decent meals if I get added to the Alexandrian knights. Alright, lets go find her, any idea where she would be at?"

Atalanta thought for a moment, "Well, this isn't the first time we've been to Alexandria, so my best guess is the waterfront. Come on, let's go." Atalanta said as she began to head to follow the moat along the castle, hoping it would at least lead her to Vanessa. It wouldn't take long to find Vanessa, apparently getting away from a green haired individual who was talking to her. Upon seeing Vanessa act this way, caused Atalanta to want to sigh and shake her head, but instead just kept going forward. "Vanessa!" Atalanta called out to her as she approached her. "There you are. Wanna get something to eat? We've just got a change of plans."

Annelise Steiner
Guy Advice

It was already evening over Alexandria, the sun has set, and yet the city is lit up with lanterns, enough light for people to see in the dark. Yet for the Blue Winged Knights of Alexandria, it was going to be their last time together for a while, tomorrow they're going to be sent off as support for potential defense points all across the Continent, to ensure that Oeilvert would have a hard time fighting against the nations of the Mist Continent. Still, it was a time to be merry, for many could never be sure if all of them would make it out alive.

Annelise was out drinking some juice in the bar. Already she had been assigned with her commander to the city of Burmecia, putting herself on the front line. Yet at the same time, she tried to make herself as calm as possible, all while the other members of her unit were talking with each other. Her moment of silence would be broken by one of the members of the unit, Naomi Montoya sat beside her on the stool. Naomi was unique in that she was the only Burmecian in the group, and on top of that, she was not a Dragon Warrior, but a close combat specialist, using her skills not just with the traditional polearm weapon, but also with her powerful kicks.

Naomi brushed her lavender colored hair aside as she looked at Annelise, "So, got yourself prepared?"

"Yes, I'm prepared." Naomi smirked at Anne's response. "Heard one of the Pluto Knights is accompanying you guys. Heard he has quite the thing for you." Naomi teased, causing Anne to blush. "W-What?" She said, quite flustered with that remark. She said it loud enough that the other members took wind of it. "Well yeah, he said it himself."

Anne was now really unnerved with that. "W-Well...what should I say, how should I handle..."

"Need guy advice?"
Vivian said, as she walked up to Anne. Another member, Fei also walked up. "Maybe we can help!" She said, beaming with confidence.

Lan Ester

"Vanessa! There you are. Wanna get something to eat? We've just got a change of plans."

Lan grabbed his two Katana and placed them on his back as he looked to see who called for Vanessa. He traced the source to what he could say was a giant of a woman. Beside her was a man. Regardless, Lan decided to make sure Vanessa knew the people.

"Friends of yours Vanessa?" Lan asked as he walked up to the two people.

--------
Remilia Oveilia

"I'll leave it up to you. We could get first class. I'll leave the dress up to you too."

"I don't mind First Class." Remilia muttered as the band started playing.

One of the dancers started to wave to her, Panda, and Mr. 1000. Smiling a bit, Remilia walked over to the dancer as she started to wave to the crowd.

"I guess this could work." Remilia muttered as she waited for the remainder of her group.

Kuro Sohm | Finding Vanessa

Atalanta said Vanessa may be around the waterfront part of Alexandria, which made sense since it was a good place to be alone and have some private time to get your thoughts in order, Kuro had done this many times before when he visited Alexandria with Gafgarion.

As we approached her and a odd green haired individual who took a battle stance the second Atalanta yelled to Vanessa, Kuro ran in front of Atalanta and grabbed the hilt of his sword that was on his back. "I take it he's not with you and Vanessa?" He didn't like those kind of people who were ready to fight at a moments notice. "Dunno who you are, but it is rather rude to take a battle position against strangers!" He spoke loudly towards the green haired male.

Lan Ester

"Dunno who you are, but it is rather rude to take a battle position against strangers!"

Lan smirked a bit since the man who called him out mistook him putting his weapons on his back as aggression. Crossing his arm, Lan decided to put the battle ready man's action into more of a perspective as he eyed some of the guards in the arena before stretching his arms a bit.

"As far as anyone can see, you are the rude one. This is a moat with Alexandrian Guards here. Take your hand off of your weapon. Either that or I wish you luck as you fight off the Alexandrian Guards." Lan pointed out as he looked towards a couple guards that walked by.

Kuro Sohm

The Young man looked as though he was going to attack but on more careful inspection it seemed as though he only placed them on his back.

"As far as anyone can see, you are the rude one. This is a moat with Alexandrian Guards here. Take your hand off of your weapon. Either that or I wish you luck as you fight off the Alexandrian Guards."

"My mistake, I figured you we're going to attack, I'm still not used to letting my guard down even in towns." Kuro took his hand off his sword and relaxed a bit more, nodding his head in a apologetic way towards the guards. Worst time to rub them the wrong way since his goal was to join them.

"Regardless, I am sorry about the misunderstanding, being a mercenary I've been attacked just for looking at someone the wrong way, which leads me to be rather protective of myself and others."

Leona Firewater - A Bit of Research
===========================
Two Weeks Prior to Today

Leona let her gaze wander of the stack of -what felt like- hundreds of books in front of her. Tapping her fingers impatiently over her helmet, the faint clinking sound reverberated through the Secret Library. A sound like the thud of books jumping rushed at her, a nervous page -arms filled with books- arrived. Leona impassionately pushed the books she had already read through off the table, allowing the page to deposit his findings. Between heavy breaths, the page was able to speak; "Here you are miss, all of Master Vivi's notes on Memoria and the Crystal World." The page pulled out another book from his robes and beamed at Leona, "I also found this, it's Vivi's account of the attack on Alexandria, when Alexander the summon appeared."

Leona took the book from the page and flipped through it casually, skimming it quickly. "Thank you dear, that will be all." The page lingered for a moment, looking slightly disappointed. Leona pretended to not notice. "Miss?" Leona looked up, "Yes?" The page shuffled his feet under the heavyness of Leonas 'yes.' "Well, it's just, it's customary to give the pages a bit of gratuity when they've done a good job." Leona simply stared. "When," she paused, letting the word sit in the air for a moment, "I feel you have done a good job, that is when I will tip you, for now, you have done a satisfactory job. You may go."

Even before the page had left, grumbling along the way, Leona returned to the book. After she had finished scanning it, she moved onto the pile in front of her, reading up on Memeoria and the Crystal world, Garlands intent, and Kujas 'failure.' "Hmm..." Leona pondered. Ripping out key pages, Leona left the now incomplete books on the table, and made her way to the top level of the library. Reaching the top floor, Leona made her way to the Doce's office. "I'm sorry miss, Doce Louis-Jacques Daguere is in the middle of-" Ignoring the steward, Leona pushed through the doors, interrupting Louis-Jacques Daguer's alone time. The Doce didn't even bother to look up from the book he was reading, "I trust you found everything all right?" Leona took the chair next to him in front of the fire-place. Pouring herself a glass of wine, she savored the scent before downing it in one gulp. "I found your faculties more then adequit. If I was the sort, I'd even tip your pages." The Doce laughed, "Don't bother, they make enough as it is. Now... about my payment."

It wasn't a question, the Doce always get's what is due to him. "Yes," Leona began, "I owe you one favour, to be completed at any time, regardless of it's convenience to me." Leona downed another glass. "I still don't see why you are letting me off so easy Louis. I know we go far back, but you are not a man known to allow debts." The Doce laughed, "Oh my old friend, a favor from you is worth more then any amount of Gil, especially in the coming days..." Leona waited for the Doce to continue.

"Louis, what do you mean?" Leona asked, glass midway to her mouth, hovering in anticipation. She knew what he meant, but she wanted to hear it. Louis continued; "The war, Leona, that's what I mean. Things are going to change drastically, and it is good to know I have at least you to rely on, even for just one task." Leona downed the glass, wiped her muzzle, and stood up. "Well Louis, thank you, it was great catching up. We should do it again. Not soon though. I'll be busy for a bit." Leona took the pages from her breast and shook them towards Louis-Jacques Daguere. "Hope you don't mind, I defaced your books." The Doce sighed. "Those were first editions... I will see you Leona, later rather then sooner I hope."

On her way out of the Library, the page assisting her earlier bowed in farewell, hand extended, palm up, waiting. Leona looked down at him, "Here is a tip kid, get out of here before Louis does something stupid, like try to remain neutral in this conflict." Storming out, Leona mounted her small two person open airship, placed her helmet upon her head, and lifted off.

Leona Firewalker - A Little Behind
=========================

Last Week

Arriving in the Black Mage village, Leona began asking around. She was searching for a young girl named Mei, and further info on a girl named
Remilia. She had traveled to Madian Sari and bought some information of a man on the location of several summoners. After asking around for a while, and being met with mostly silent stares or curt brush offs, she was able to finally get some information; "Yes! Me know of them! Both gone now!" The Qu chef of the local inn was the first person to be of help.

"Ah, do you know where they went?" Leona had already heard that Remilia was in Alexandria, but she had been a bounty hunter for along time now, and knew the more information she gathered, the better. "Hmm! Maybe! Maybe not!" Leona rummaged in her bandolier, "I see. And what would you know for this?" Leona pulled out a dried golden frog on a stick. "!!! Oh! I know everything for that!" Exclaimed the Qu. Leona tossed the frog, stick and all into the Qu's mouth. "MMM! Both are in Alexandria now! Or on their way! Not sure why! Not sure for how long!"

Leona left the Inns kitchen, and made her way to the edge of town where her airbike was waiting for her. She turned around to the sound of footsteps. Two black mages were had followed her to the outskirts of the forest. "Oh. I see. I'm not going to hurt the girls if you're worried about that. They just have something I'm looking for." Leona turned her back on them, and mounted her airbike. Gaining some air, a fireball whizzed passed her ear. Casually she waved her hand in the Mages general direction, "Silence." Flying off, she hoped the girls wouldn't have any warning of her arrival.

============================
Leona Firewater - Alexandria at Night
============================

Leona arrived in Alexandria at dusk, wandering the city she decided to take a less direct approach and simply observe, attempt to spot the summoners. Asking questions would draw attention to her. After a few hours of looking without any luck, she went to the local bar. Feeling a little out of it, she ordered a shot of Firewater, feeling nostalgic for old times. And then another. And another. Enough to knock a grown man out, but Leona had grown up around alcohol, she had a strong immunity.

Leona was right tipsy when she heard the unmistakeable giggles of gossiping girls. She listened in.

"Heard one of the Pluto Knights is accompanying you guys. Heard he has quite the thing for you."

'Oh, this kind of gossip.' Thought Leona.

"W-Well...what should I say, how should I handle..."

Leona laughed to herself. Young love and all that. She became a bit more somber when she noticed a Bermucian amongst the group, and who the stammering girl was. "Annelise Steiner..." She said aloud, twirling another drink in her hand.

The band was finishing their song as Panda was about to leave the theater. He said the other two, "Well, that will do. I guess it'll be a top of the morning to me. I'm going to get tickets for the airship to Lindblum." Panda walked out of the back. He grabbed the cart with the cart moogle sitting on the handle. He adjusted his hat as he was walking out of the alley. The city was getting busy with people in this time of the evening. Some people made comments at the theater sign on the side of the cart. Panda was cooking some hot dogs and burritos on its grill. He stopped a few times when someone wanted to buy something. They all seemed to love the advertisement.

Panda eventually made his way to the airship docks. There was a ticket counter near the entrance. Panda had to pay for four tickets as the fat cart moogle eating a hot dog wasn't getting on an airship for free. He passed two tickets to Remilia and Mr. 1000. Then, he started to board the airship bound for Lindblum. He was allowed to travel with the cart and was pointed to the lobby area on the airship. He parked the cart near the bar. Then, he noticed a few people playing a card game at a table. Panda walked up to the four players and asked, "Mind if I join in? I'm Panda." All four sounded glad. One of them replied, "Yeah! Sit down!" Panda said to him, "I don't mind if I do."

These men were dressed in a very unusual way, but Panda could recognize their kind anywhere. These men were sky pirates. The five men sitting at the table with cards in their hands could be heard talking among themselves. Panda sat there his hat propped back. He didn't pay attention to his travel companions as he was focusing on the game. One of the things that could be heard was Panda telling them, "I have this casino that I help run in Madain Sari with a bunch of moogles. You guys should check it out." The sky pirates responded, "Aye."
