[RP] Final Fantasy IX: Scars of Terra (Remake)

Remilia Oveilia

After hearing some fighting on the deck, Remilia ran out to check on it, just to see panda finishing off a monster. The summoner shrugged as she then saw Lindblum come into view.

"Hey, we're here. Mr. 1000. Get ready because we're going to go sightseeing as soon as we get off." Remilia called out as the ship entered Lindblum's airship docks.

She then got off of the ship and started to look around. It was a stark contrast to Alexendria. The place was industrializing for sure and not to mention she heard rumors of a great tasting but horrible smelling pickles being sold here.

"Come on Panda, Mr. 1000. I wanna try some Gyshal Pickles first." Remilia called out as she started to walk away from the airship and making her way to the aircab.

Panda went to the theater cart after he saw Remilia. He cooked a hot dog while waiting for the airship to land in Lindblum. When the airship finally arrived, Panda walked out with the cart. The cart moogle and passengers were following behind. Pickles sounded like a good idea. People in the city started buying food from Panda. He started eating another hot dog and looked around. There was music playing from a distance. There were going to be different shows. The theater and its band was expected to show later. He said, "I agree. Let's get some pickles and look around."

Panda pushed the theater cart into the aircab. Once they were dropped off, Panda could hear the music getting louder. There were food stands beside each other. The cart moogle started smiling and jumping on the handle getting Panda's attention. He noticed the cart moogle was pointing at one of the food stands. It had the pickles that Remilia was talking about. Panda bought two jars of pickles and placed one of them in the cart. He gave the other one to Remilia.

The cart moogle stared at the stage where there were shows similar to the theater. The theater arrived in Lindblum around the same time as they did, so they were coming on stage next. The theater's band was made of men and women in costume with performers in front. They set up a sign that said they had a new show called Eight Black Mages. The band's lead singer was a woman who started to sing as the lights came on. There were six performers who started dancing. They were followed by a woman dressed up like a doll who came on stage with strings attached to her arms and legs. She danced and moved as if she was a string puppet.

With a dull grumble Vanessa slowly lifted what felt like a heavy weight as she moved herself out of bed, once she was sat against the edge she stretched out her arms and let out a yawn before rubbing her eyes. When her eyes focused and adjusted to the light she pushed herself up to her feet and saw Atalanta at the table, still fairly dazed she called out, moreso at Atalanta than to her.

"Where's breakfast?"

Unconciously, she had still uttered it in a grumpy tone, despite the events of yesterday being largely behind her, assuming the boy in green didn't show up again.

Magic Knight
Changes

Magic Knight rolled his eyes at the remark Cerise made, and he said calmly. "Yeah, sure." Turning his attention to Ddaear, Léonide would listen to her concerns of the matter. She knew fully well about her history and her matter with being teased growing up. He himself had had his fair share of teasing as well, but he was able to move on from that. Her plan did seem to be quite sound. Even if their remaining airships try to engage in the fight, the Grand Dragons should be able to successfully make enough of a mark on the battlefield to prevent their airships from becoming a factor, although any more beyond the dockyards destruction and the capture of the mirror would be overkill, perhaps forcing Lindblum into the negotiating table would be enough for them.

"This plan should be able to be successful. You will take charge in this plan, and I will pray to your success my friend." Léonide said, moving to get a bottle of champagne from one of the cabinets, as well as a set of glasses to pour the champagne in. There the Magic Knight sought to pour out the beverage in three glasses, before finally placing the bottle unto the cabinet, and lift the glass closest to him. "For the glory of the Oeilvertian Empire!" Léonide spoke clearly, raising his glass upwards.

Atalanta Palaiologos
Breakfast Time

"Where's breakfast?"

Atalanta sighed at Vanessa's nonchalant attitude towards the morning, but she smiled nonetheless, "Good Morning to you too dear." Atalanta said calmly before calling over a waitress, "Could you get a menu for the two of us please?"

"Of course, right away." The waitress left for a brief moment before coming back with two menus for each of them. They would go on to order their food right away, so they can eat and be ready to leave Alexandria.

Vanessa held up her menu to her face, analysing the contents before picking out a light cereal, announcing this to the waitress in her usual uninterested, monotone voice. After her and Atalanta had ordered Vanessa just stared down with her hands clenched together lightly, waiting for her breakfast.

When her breakfast finally arrived she didn't utter a word, instead signalling with a hand gesture which food was for her and began to slowly eat in silence, she wasn't quite as grumpy now, but wasn't really in the mood to talk.

After what felt more like a light nap than a long sleep Ricard finally awoke to the sound of his roommates noise to wake him up, before he even had time to yawn he was already being assaulted with questions.

"I heard you got close to Annelise last night, how'd you get her interested in a shrimp like you?"

"Yeah man! How's you pull such a babe?"

"Hey Ricard, did you get a good look at anything?"

Ricard gestured to them to give him a moment to get up, sitting up in bed and adjusting his eyes to the morning light he stretched out his arms and faced them.

"In order, my dashing good looks, my manly charm and that's my little secret"

Ricard's roommates showed they clearly didn't believe him as they edged closer.

"C'mon, fess up the details, you got to have a talk with her, did anything happen?"

Ricard tapped his nose to this before getting out of bed and collecting his equipment, as he approached the door to leave he turned back to his expectant roommates.

"She was all over me in seconds"

Ricard then left the room and started walking towards the airship, seeing nobody around he figured everyone was already on board and headed onto the ship and after checking in, he headed into the quarters below deck.

Annelise Steiner & Gisale von Wettin
Working Together

As Annelise was heading towards the meeting sarea with the rest of the Blue Winged Knights, she would encounter General Gisale walking and talking with Queen Garnet, discussing the situation at hand. Annelise would come up to meet them in their discussion, to see what the matter was.

"Good Morning General, Good Morning Your Majesty." Anne said, bowing her head in their prescense. Gisale looked on at Annelise, one of her fellow officers. "Lieutenant Steiner, I see you are well prepared and ready for your assignment. Good, you will be working alongside me today."

"Yes, ma'am!" Anne said, saluting her officer, "What of the others?" Gisale nodded, "I will personally give them their assignments when I see them all. Now return to the barracks, I still have some matters to discuss with the Queen."

Garnet would speak, "Its a pleasure to see you again Annelise, your parents must be so proud of you." Anne blushed, and smiled at the compliment her queen gave her. "T-Thank you Your Majesty." She said before broskly returning to the barracks.

Atalanta Palaiologos
After Breakfast

The breakast that she and Vanessa shared together was altogether awkward, if nothing else. Both of them stayedd silent as they ate, all the while Atalanta was reading the newspaper about the events that occurred, the invasion and conquest of Cleyra, the upcoming Festival of the Hunt, and other matters.

Once breakfast was finished, and the tab paid, Atalanta said, "Come on, lets head out. We'll take the airship, its a faster trek to Lindblum. And will you stop being so pouty, I am sorry for yesterday after all."

Vaughn sat atop the Alexandrian steeple, looking at the milling crowds of shoppers, workers, soldiers, tourists and another flotsam that had washed up in the great city. Fate had disappeared after talking to Garnet, presumably off to make his own story in the world. Vaughn, on the other hand, had faltered before talking to Garnet, running away instead. It was… hard for him to talk to Garnet- too many feelings on his side.
A light breeze carried Vaughn’s hair, the strands of colour waving against the bright blue sky of the mid-day Alexandria. Down below, amongst the throngs of people that filled the narrow alleyways and wide open market streets, was someone that would need his help making their story. But that was a thought for another day- Vaughn lifted a heavy flask of strong ale to his lips. It would be better to just drink the day away than face his pointless life again.
“Why did I come here?” he muttered, bearing his teeth as the hard alcohol burned its way down his throat. He reached into his bag, which was hanging by its strap on the point to the steeple, and produced an old and tattered leather bound book, its brown cover marked with age and wear. He flicked through the dark parchment pages, each filled with scribblings of his thoughts in black ink and the occasional drawing in bright red. Maps, ideas, dreams and important dates filled the pages between the covers.
Vaughn rested the book between his knees, open at a date early in his life. Of what was rest of the day would be filled his memories and hard drink.
