[RP] Final Fantasy IX: Scars of Terra

Princess Eiko of Lindblum

The Princess slowly began to stir, "Ugh, what hit me?" She said, trying to rub the back of her head. However she would start to notice that her hands were bound together. As Eiko began to struggle to get her restraints off, she yelled. "Hey?!, HEY!!!!!! Where the heck am I?" She screamed out, trying to get someone's attention as she slowly tried to stand herself up. Looking up at Lan, she then realized her position, a Prisoner of War in one of Cyril's airships. She looked at him coldly, like he had drowned her goldfish or something.

Meanwhile a military officer came into the room where Lan and Eiko were in. He was carrying a package and a letter in hand, "Sir, a message has come for you from General Gisale, she wanted you to have this, it's some sort of special set of claws or something, I don't know." Handing the package and letter to Lan, he saluted and walked off. "Let me guess, a reward for kidnapping me?" Eiko said angrily.

Atalanta Palaiologos

Atalanta growled as she landed on the ground, holding the stone pillar that tried to impale her on the arm and tossed it away, slowly making her way towards Lucia. The sound of airship engines rumbling as the fleet began to evacuate to their home base had led Lucia to move on to her original target. Using, whatever she was using, she began to fly up to intercept the retreating airships. But Atalanta, or what was left of her reason locked within the berserking female warrior, began to chase after her. As Lucia flew, Atalanta began to jump, first jumping on a wall then onto a roof of a house before jumping at high as she could. At first she began to aim towards her, in an attempt to disrupt her flight and cause her to crash, but her tall frame weighed her down and she was about to fall, but before gravity began to play its cruel effect, Atalanta managed to make a tight grab for Lucia's tail...

Annelise Steiner and the Twinsword

"We still need to find out if Princess Eiko is alright!"

"Well if we assume the other girl was indeed an enemy then with them retreating, all we can do for now is figure out where they've gone and then prepare a rescue mission. Since Lindblum most likely doesn't have easy access to airships to loan us one, for now we should focus on gathering up survivors and clearing out any pockets of resistance left in the city. If we can get our hands on an enemy vessel however, we might just have a chance of getting Eiko rescued with haste."

Annelise and Twinny both nodded at their arrangements. "Right, let us first focus on ensuring the safety of the people." She said before turning in the direction of the airship yards, her sword drawn, despite the wear on it. Twinsword would follow when all the guys left, taking the rear. As she trekked through the castle she saw Robert, exhausted from all the events that happened. Anne herself was just as worse for wear, but she did not want to just sit and rest, not while there is still people to save. Sheathing her sword, she ran on over to Robert. "Robert, are you okay?!" She asked, worrying for him at the moment.

The Magic Knight, the Pirate and the Blue Winged Knights of Alexandria

The city of Alexandria was put under siege by the Oeilvert Army, led personally by Lord Cyril himself. Despite this, the Lord Generals, Magic Knight, Pirate and a new member was already on the scene, as several dozen ships made short work of the small Alexandrian fleet based at home, preventing escape via the air and enuring air superiority.

"Man, I can't believe it was this easy, it shouldn't take long to get the mirror, eh MK?"
The Pirate said, gestering at his colleague. The Magic Knight however was unammused and simply said, "Hmph, whatever..." The Pirate shook his head and pointed at his chest. "Well, I just can't wait so I can get out of this dead-end job and go see my wife." Pirate said, but the Magic Knight noticed something was amiss as he moved in front of the Pirate, pushing him aside as an arrow came down, aiming for what was to be the Pirate's heart. The Magic Knight drew his blade and sliced the arrow apart mid-flight. "What the heck was that?" The Pirate said as he tried to get on his feet. "We're not alone..."

The Pirate drew his cutlass as another one came from behind the Magic Knight, aiming a downward slash from her swallow blade, which the Pirate blocked for him, pushing the woman back as she landed on her feet. The archer appeared from behind the burning building, surrounding the two Lord-Generals between them. "Hey, Hey...Ladies..." The Pirate spoke, waving his blade in the air, while the Magic Knight said, "Alexandrian Knights...you seem different from the rank and file..."

"Well we're not a part of the rank and file, now aren't we?"
The Thief Sword wielding knight said, getting into a fighting stance while the archer began to get another arrow to shoot at the Lord Generals. "We take you out and it bring us a step closer to retaking our capital." The archer said, ready to fight.

Lan Ester

"Hey?!, HEY!!!!!! Where the heck am I?"

Lan looked at Eiko as he saw her regain consciousness. Everything was all wrong. No one was supposed to help him and now he ended up looking after said princess. He can tell that Eiko saw him as trash. He honestly couldn't care less about it as long as he can kill Cyril. Just before he said something, the door opened and a solider came in holding a package and a letter. Setting the Fire Mirror aside, Lan walked up to the man.

"Sir, a message has come for you from General Gisale, she wanted you to have this, it's some sort of special set of claws or something, I don't know."

Lan nodded as the man left, closing the door behind him.

"Let me guess, a reward for kidnapping me?"

The green haired genome walked up to the bars and keeled to Eiko's level. He looked at her as he kept an ear open for anyone.

"You being here is not a part of my plan. If anything, your presence is a wrench here. I don't want the wish in the Festival. I just want Cyril's head and you just made it harder for me since you were brought here by Bishop. So if you want out in one piece, keep quiet while I work on a plan for your escape." Levont whispered as he opened the letter and started reading it.

I've heard from some of the officers that escaped Lindblum that my husband is now in Alexandria to personally lead the siege. Inside the package is a pair of Poison Claws I've picked up from a shop in Lindblum. Cyril must be stopped there, but do not draw too much attention to yourself or I will no longer be able to assist you in ending this war.

I will meet you in Cleyra, I will discuss any further plans there.

Good Luck,
Gisale

"Interesting." Levont muttered as he opened the package.

True to the man's word, it was a set of new claw. The design was simple enough, but the simplicity of making the claw double edged and with a sharpened point made Lan smile. He also noticed that the back portion of the claw had a single long spike that had a mysterious liquid dropping from it. Most likely poison.

"Looks like I owe Gisale thanks." Lan muttered.

Robert Crescent

Robert's ears perked as he heard Annelise heading over to his direction. he bounced his back off of the wall to get himself back into a fully standing position, using his lance for support. "Well, I'm alive for the moment." he jested a bit. "Between sending Bishop packing with a nasty reminder across her face from my lance and spending most of my time fighting off monsters and invaders to get the survivors to the castle, I certainly feel like I've just run three marathons back to back." he further jested before rolling his arms a bit to at least stretch himself, helping to ease the soreness of his body. "But enough about that. What's the situation so far?" he asked. He didn't know so far anything about Lan or the princess as he was busy helping the civilians.

Everything seems to have calmed down some, If the enemy did get away with Princess Eiko it would cause problems but at the same time theres not much they can do without a Airship to chase down the enemy airships...

"Well if we assume the other girl was indeed an enemy then with them retreating, all we can do for now is figure out where they've gone and then prepare a rescue mission. "Your Right..." He sighed after saying that, it always made him mad when the enemy escaped.

As they headed towards the Airship Yard they stumbled onto Robert, Anne ran over to him and checked to see if he was ok.

"Well, I'm alive for the moment." Robert jested a bit. "Between sending Bishop packing with a nasty reminder across her face from my lance and spending most of my time fighting off monsters and invaders to get the survivors to the castle, I certainly feel like I've just run three marathons back to back." "More or less we were looking for survivors and Princess Eiko, Sadly we haven't seen the Princess yet so I suspect the enemy captured her to Ransom the remaining mirrors.." He spoke to Robert.

"Even if we were able to follow the enemy in a airship some of us are worse for wear at the moment.. So for now I think the best option is to Help survivors and Report this to Regent Cid.. Maybe he can Loan us a Airship or at least a boat.." He spoke again swishing his tail in frustration...

Remilia Oveilia

Watching everyone leave, Remilia walked up to the moogle that flew towards her. Taking the letter from said moogle, she read the contents of the letter before she gasped.

"This is not good at all." Remilia muttered as she turned and ran back to the others, not caring if Vanessa ran or got dragged.

Soon enough, she reached the airship hanger where everyone was.

"Guys, I just got this letter from Lan and it's not good news." Remilia muttered as she handed said letter out for anyone to read.
