Ivka felt burning in her hands as Greg stepped towards her, she looked down and her hands were covered in blood. She hid them from Greg, she didn't want him to see. She walked around the room, she could hear children crying in her head. She sat down.
"What happened! Where are the children!?"
"I...I don't know." Ivka replied.
Ivka wiped her hands clean in her pockets and came to her feet, her hands were stinging, something had scratched her left hand. But what? Ivka looked around and saw some strange silhouette behind her in the mirror, she spun round attempting to hit it, but it was not there. She began to think that they were no longer in the same place. She took out her sword and swung it around her head, Violet whimpered whilst Portia ran to protect the young child.
"We're not alone here..." Ivka said.
"What do you mean?" Violet asked, scared.
"We'll see." Ivka answered.
Suddenly, the group heard footsteps running up and down the hall, and an evil laughter echoing into the room and a sudden door slam shut. Ivka headed out the room into the hall, it was darker, as if shadows were creeping up the wall. She felt a burning sensation on her back and spun round, nothing was there. She looked at Greg, waving at him to follow.
