[RP] Kingdom Hearts: Into The Dusk

"Unfortunately, Raven is not available at the time. However, he did say the day before the finals that he will be leaving after the finals are over. So he should be back before sundown."

"Oh, ok. I can wait for him then." He said.

Sanjia decided to wait for Raven, since he wanted to join this group and needed to ask the leader to do so. He then turned his attention to the match that was taking place, since there was really nothing else going on.

"The movements of those two are amazing." He said to himself. "Maybe I can learn something from them and try to help with any weaknesses I can see, if I see them."

He noticed another person, B, come up and ask to join the group too. He thought about it, then decided that nothing was wrong there, as this group was probably really popular.
 
"Hal....is that you?"

Luna looked at Hal, of the four warriors who fought Scinfaxi in the Battle of Unity Islands, Hal never fully recovered. The stress and trauma of nearly dying had aged him considerably. This made her think she wished that Hal would've never put himself through this mess.

"Well, I'm just glad you're still alive. Though I wished you'd at least die your hair so you would like what you did before you left 3 weeks ago." Luna said mockingly, but smiling.

"Not trusting an offensive attack? Then I guess it's my turn around!"

Raven took up his challenge, "Well then, COME ON!!!" Raven continued his defensive as Orion began charging Orbs of pure Energy, he was prepared to deflect the attacks back at his opponent. But what caught him by surprise, was Orion jumping over his attack and swinging and thrusting his spear at Raven. Again, Raven took his time to carefully dodge and block his attacks. "Damn, at this rate, he'll be able to get a hit, I'm not gonna let him get that chance."

In a desperate Gamble, Raven Fired off 2 Fire Spells at Orion while he jumped into the air in an attempt to avoid the Energy Orb attack. While in the air, he attempted to reach Orion. Now that they are both airborne, he awaited his opponent to launch an attack.

OOC: Next post, the Heartless attack the Coliseum.
 
The battle she was witnessing was getting intense and she did not know who too root for. Both of them showed great strength and great combat experience and skill. She was amazed of their combat expertise and was enjoying the match far too much than she normally would.

"Wow, they are so strong!"

She said that sentence quite loud and got some wierd looks, but she did not mind as it was her honest opinion and making some noise in this already noisy colosseum would make some sence atleast.

Awaiting the winner she sat still tapping her feet and fingers in joy over the battle. She was enjoying herself and she hoped nothing would disturb the match as it was probaply the most fun she have had in days.
 
"I have talked to some of the fighters who fought in prior rounds, about all of them did not want to help us. The few that did, were joining other groups in the branch."

Chao nodded slightly as she digested the info. It wasn't surprising that not many would join their squad. The little stunt at Unity Islands set an image of suicidal bravery and similar skills needed for their missions. Its no wonder that no one would sign up. Who'd want to die?

"Sometimes, these people can be sore losers. Though, maybe Orion could after the match."

Well....we can only hope. His skills seems sufficient at least...Hey Doctor.

Chao commented little on the doctor's altered appearance. Battle injuries are often more than the physical type. Too much attention on the wounds would more harm to their psyche. Nonetheless, Chao recognise Hal to be a worthy companion and comrade, thus believes his will would overcome any obstacles that may appear. She let Hal and Luna talk as she continued to scan the crowd. Several people stood out for possible recruitment, though that was just a preliminary scan through her experienced eyes. Also, she continued to observe Raven's battle. It was taking a bit of time.

Raven! Finish this!

Her voice, tempered through battles and training, rang over the din of the crowd.

 
B was watching the match unfold. We were all thinking the same thing. Raven finish this!. B took away her protect materia allowing the space to be normal again.

The sun on unity islands was blazing and B stepped out the crowd and went to the water. She splashed some one her face and sat on the sand for a while. She thought about the descisinos she'd made. Was it the right one?

B stood back up and pulled out her rod. She used it to climb up the tree and pull down a coconut. She cracked it open and drank the smooth juice. She walked up to Reo.

"You think hes won?"

B waited patiently for a response, every second taking a sip of her cool drink.

Laleth made quick work of the heartless from the wreck and proceeded to explore this world. She wandered around and soon heard noises of a cheering crowd in a staduim. She ran towards the noises and entered the stadium where there were two people fighting fiercely. Her eyes narrowed. "I don't think anyone here can help me but I might as well kill some time." the girl said as she took a seat in the stands.

(OOC: Short post is short but I'm running a little low on inspiration!)
 
Hal looked at Luna - "Its good to see your alive still"
He watched as Chao left back into the collisum

"Luna... Somethings Wrong"

Hal turned around and walked quickly through the crowd to the entrance of the colliseum...

He saw Chao..

"Chao.. Something is wrong...... Something is happening"

Hal drew his swords... and looked around for any hints

"RAVEN!" "Hurry up and slice him down and get your backside moving!"
 
Kaufman woke from her slumber after a deafening cheer echoed into the room. Her mind was still groggy from sleep and the dim lighting was not helping at all. Only a small barred window up high let in any sunlight and the room itself was dusty.

Ugh....my head is killing....bloody hangovers.....

In a futile attempt to soothe the pain, Kaufman dragged a bottle of water from her bag, draining it. Seeing nothing improved, she grabbed a home remedy anti-hangover drink and downed that. In an instant, the fuzz and haze lifted from her mind as the pain withdrew.

God bless you you Hartz. This thing is a killer. Taste like shit, but damn it works....

More alert and capable now, Kaufman took in her surroundings. Dark, dreary, dusty, as she had noticed before, and packed with boxes. That obviously meant she was in some kind of storeroom. Again, wild cheers echoed down from the corridor into her room. Still, knowing where she was right now did not help her know geographically, where she was. For all she knew, she could be in an enemy guild's brig. Springing deftly to her feet, she drew Rengal out of its holster, just in case, and opened up the door. Noise bounced around crazily and Kaufman's instinct told her her best bet was to track the source. Lazily, she wobbled towards the light leading to a staircase. Blinded by the light, her hands shaded most of it from further assaulting her eyes and when she adjusted, the sight caused her even more confusion.

Okay.....an arena...i seriously don't know where the hell i am now.....

The furthest she could remember was drinking heaps at a bar, since she left the Lightning Valkyrie's for a break, last night, before climbing into a supply truck. She vaguely remembered slipping into one of the boxes which had comfortable cushions and slept. After that, she did not know where the truck went.

Well...at least the fight looks interesting....

Kaufman scratched her temple with the barrel of her gun and continued to look at the fight. Where she was could be dealt with later. This looked interesting.
 
Orion swore quietly as Raven dodged his attack again. This time though Raven stayed in the air, and he fired twin fireballs at Orion. Odds were, he was thinking that if he stayed in the air, he would be unscathed from the energy balls. Unfortunately, they were HOMING energy balls, and so they made adjustments in their course and continued to fly towards Raven.

Meanwhile, said fireballs were easily blocked by a simple spin of his spear, and then Orion nimbly dodged to be directly below Raven and he jumped up with his spear pointed upwards, using his Jump in an upwards direction instead of missing and coming back down. "FALL!" Orion roared as he zoomed up to the airborne keyblade wielder.
 
Reo looked at B as she drank the coconut juice. He thought about it, saying "This fight would've ended already, and Raven is not one to show off in a fight. His opponent is pretty good."

Reo then took his focus off B and onto the TV Screen.

Raven thought he got away from Energy Balls, and into a perfect attack position against Orion. What he didn't know at the time, was that those Energy Orbs were homing in on him.

Raven however saw Orion get under him and try to strike him with the spear. Raven knew he could Aerial Dodge, but it would put him on the offensive, he would have to get in close and strike.

"FALL!"

"OH NO YOU DON'T" Raven yelled as he flipped his Keyblade into a reverse grip, and flipped to dive down towards Orion at high speed. As he did his flip to dive down, he noticed Orion's energy attack heading his way. Raven smiled, this was actually gonna be a good fight. Despite the concerns, well minded it seemed to end the fight quickly, he wished it would go on for a while.

Raven dived downward, and swung his keyblade to parry his attack. Then quickly use his Aerial Dodge to let his opponent get caught in the attack.

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep OST-The Encounter

Unfortunately, as he was about to get in close in, Raven saw a Heartless appear on the arena grounds. A Single Soldier, but one that began causing panic amongst the crouds of the Coliseum.

Raven narrowly dived passed Orion, his attack still following the young Keyblade Knight. As he was about to hit the ground, he Aerial Dodged so it will hit the Soldier Heartless.

But the worst was now coming. Heartless ere appearing all over the arena grounds as well as the stands where the crowd were, innocents were about to get hurt, and that was the least of Raven's problems. To make things worse, another Darkside Heartless appeared from underground breaking through rock and sand. A dark wind blew, Raven looking at the heartless with worry, yet determined to stop this threat. Raven got into battle stance, shouting to Luna, who was met with Chao and a white haired individual with swords, "Luna, Chao protect the civilians, I'll deal with our big problem."

Turning his attention to his new problem he thought, "I guess....peace doesn't last forever..."

When Reo saw the visual on the Heartless attacking before the loss of signal on the screen he shouted, "Lieutenant, situation report!! NOW!!!!"

A signal Lieutenant said, "Sir, Olympus is under attack."

Eliane said, "Let me, and the new guys go, about high time we get our baptism by fire."

Reo nodded, then said, "Alright Eliane." Turning to another soldier, he said, "Sargeant, prep the Pelican for combat insertion. Raven should have reinforcements in 2 minutes tops."

Eliane nodded then ran outside the Crew Quarters Building. The Pelican(link here), a dedicated Troop Transport and Gunship was parked just outside. Running towards it, Eliane entered the Pelican from it's back enterance and sat in the crew compartment.

Chao

Yosha! Let 'er rip!

If one was to look, a massive grin had been plastered across Chao's face. She knew that heartless appearing was a bad thing, but she figured, they were going to appear anyway, so the best she could hope for was to appear near her. She would kill them and it'll be two birds with one stone.

Come on out, Ultima!

The keyblade flew out of its holster and planted itself hilt deep into a soldier's chest. Said soldier proceeded to have its head caved in with a jump landing from Chao landing dead center on its head. In her left hand, Rising Phoenix swung around like a whip in a circular motion, mowing down all the heartless within its reach before Chao locked it back into polearm mode.

Alright! All civilians and non combatants, head towards the exits. The "Four Wings of Unity Island" is here. We'll deal with them!

A shiver ran up Chao's spine. She was used to eloquent titles and such, but she didn't really care for the ones people gave to her, Luna, Raven and Hal. It seemed....weird to her and a bit pretentious. She thought she might try it out, but evidently, it wasn't to her liking.

From the side of her eyes, a heartless lunged towards a girl who was still seated. In response, Chao sent Heathen Flame slamming into the monster.

You in the pink and white! Watch out! Get up!

Kaufman

Kaufman had enough experience with crowds to know to stay out of one. It was safer to lag back a bit than to thrust oneself into a group of panicking civilians. However, the current situation was a bit more dire than a concert. These black monsters were appearing from the ground and they didnt look overly too friendly. Some people were fighting already though they were really few of them.

Right. Brilliant. Wake up in some unknown place, have hangover, get attacked by black monsters. Today is sooo my day.

Kaufman double tapped one of these monsters that began to approach her. The poor beast flew backwards and, to her surprise, dissolved. More approached her from the right, cutting her from the torrent of escaping spectators. The only thing she could do was run further into the arena. Alstair was out now with its twin, blasting away as Kaufman flipped and jmped from her adversaries as they closed in before landing on the edge which ringed the actual arena. It was her stand off position. She would hold them from where she was.

Its show time, baby!

A glint was in her eye, showing she was having fun rather than fighting for her life.

" Reo , Sir what should we do? The stadium is going to be destroyed! " B said shocked by what she saw on the screen.

B waited for a responce as she stared at the screen as more heartless began to pour out of the floor.

"Sir, this isn't right why would heartless attack the stadium?!" B now was worried about why they decided to attack such a public place.

All B wanted to do was go and help, it wasn't as easy as that. It never was. B took out her staff and inserted her water materia, her only form of attacking was this or her fists.

" Reo, If your going to help i'm coming too. You can't stop me. ":gonk:
 
" Reo , Sir what should we do? The stadium is going to be destroyed! "

Reo responded, "You have your orders, get on to the transport, and get ready to head to Olympus immediately, I stay and provide Early Warning Support.

"Sir, this isn't right why would heartless attack the stadium?!"

Reo said, "They'll do what they can to either kill the innocent or corrupt them into becoming heartless too. Of course they would want to attack a populated area."

Reo put his hand on B, "I know you want to help, that's why I'm sending you to the battlefield, just get on the Gummi Ship, and you guys will be over there soon. Besides, you did say you wanted to meet Raven Otsdarva after all."

With that Reo turned around and headed to the Communications Room hoping to get contact with Raven on Olympus.

OOC: Long story short Greg, You're still gonna go, Reo is gonna stay behind to tell Raven reinforcements arrive and defend the Islands in case of a similar raid.
 
Hal quickly ran over to Raven
"Don't worry kid ! I've got this one"

Hal ran over into a large group of heartless and started to jump and slice his way through them..

"Good old times"

Hal threw his hand in the air with a pistol which launched a flare into the air.. He had to alert the rest of the Island of the attack.. They needed help.
 
Orion dodged the blow from Raven and suddenly found himself surrounded by a large amount of dark beings, and a massive one also appeared. Orion hit the ground and shifted his view of the world so the dark things were the enemies, so the orbs switched direction mid-flight to Raven and began to strike the many Heartless across the ground. Orion stepped to the side of Raven as other warriors began fighting.

"I'll help you as well. These things have faintly annoyed me with the interruption. I'll help with that large one, while I summon something to handle the small fry." Closing his eyes that couldn't see anyways, he focused his attention inward until he found the being there. Smiling grimly, he called it out:

"Being of restrained energy, come forth! ZODIARK!"

A massive portal of white appeared, and a gigantic flying serpent with an aura of power came out. With a scream, it launched itself at the many small Heartless and began ripping them apart with swift attacks. Orion watched only for a moment, before placing his spear across the back of his neck and crouching slightly. "That should take care of that. What's our plan for that one?" Orion asked, gesturing towards the Darkside in front of them.
 
B nodded as she made her way to the landed gummy ship, her first proper fight. She couldn't muck this up. Not when she was so close to joining the squad.

B stepped onboard the ship and looked through her box of materia. She put on her vision goggles and observed the materia, should could here them. Voices of the cetra when she listened. It was as if they were telling her something. But all she ever hears are screams.

Flashback
" Come on Bebe, lets go to the secret place " Bebe followed Kate as they walked down the sandy beach of the island. "Hurry up silly!" Kate giggles as she crawled into the tunnel. Bebe walked inside and they sat and talked.

"Think we'll ever leave the islands?" Kate asked.
"I hope so.."
"Me to.."

There was a crunching noise. Then silence. Kate and Bebe looked at eachother, they were both wondering the same thing. "What on earth was that". Then a piece of rubble hit the ground.

Bebe grabbed Kate and plunged to the exit. The walls began to crumble and only a glimpse of light could be seen. Bebe jumped out into the light pulling Kate along with her.

It was then Kate let go. Bebe turned round as she saw Kate plunge into the darkness, she was being pulled away.
She wasn't dead.
She couldn't be.

"I'll find you." B cried as she sat on the beachside in distraught.
