[RP] Tale of the Forgotten

As the women directed Saethos in the proper direction, Saethos looked. That seemed right. He didn't know why it did, but it did. Tipping his hat as he glanced back, he spoke again, "Thanks." From there, he turned away and began to walk. His habbit of compensating for the waves crashing a ship had given him a natural swagger in his steps.

On his way, many people were running into their homes, probably to take shelter from the creature that was rising. Saethos simply walked with a slight smile on his face. His arrogance made him very anxious to prove himself, especially in front of others. As he entered the inn, he noticed the keeper was nowhere to be seen, but he didn't much care. Walking right by the stairs, he continued on the downstairs hallway. It was wise to avoid stair cases with armor as heavy as his, otherwise fatigue would take him just from walking. Using his key to open the door, he pushed it open pretty fast, making it slam on the wall. The first sight he could see was his suit of armor that was specially crafted for him. Next to it leaning on the wall was his mighty halberd.

Removing all of his clothing, mostly for the sake of keeping his suit clean, he started to put on his leather undersuit. It was rather thick leather over his abdomen, rather unflattering due to the lack of thickness over his torso. Over the leather went another layer of red fabric, this was made to prevent the moving armor from scuffing through the leather, keeping it in high quality. And lastly, overt op his red clothing came the heavy, large pieces of metal. His torso was plated heavily with large shoulder guards, and around his waste came an armored kilt. Before wearing his bracers, he fixed his collar. Even when clad in iron and steel, he still had to maintain his classy appearance. After pinning a last piece of decorative clothing beneath his neck he finally put on his boots and bracers. To finish his suit of armor, he tightened the ropes around his waste.

Grabbing his halberd by the long handle, Saethos dropped it onto his shoulder pad, which even with his strength had caused him to grunt slightly. To finish, he grabbed his sword and also tied it into the ropes on his kilt, making the scabbard wave slightly. The long handle and massive blade of the menacing weapon made Saethos need to maneuver around the door very carefully so to not hit the doorway. Despite his previous finesse going outside the room doorway, Saethos chose to kick the inn doorway open, forcing it off its own hinges.

Heading back the way he came, his footsteps seemed to shake the ground, which wasn't too abnormal. Between his body weight of 203 pounds, his armor of 105 pounds, and his halberd of a solid 97 pounds, he was roughly at about 400 pounds, causing his steps to be very slow and heavy. Carrying all his weight in his battle attire was extremely taxing, so he had to move slowly. He was once described as a glacier in battle, being extremely slow moving, but powerful when he strikes with his halberd, which shimmered its sapphire blue patterns when the light struck it.

Vex was walking away from the bar as thoughts filled his mind once again. How long has it been now for him around 40 years since he last heard of the most baseless rumor, and now here was another rumor but this one seemed to be more founded. Ever since he managed to be free of the Dark Ones control thanks to his coming in contact of the Holy gem he has been looking for the lost relics of his people, the fact this person knew about them and let alone was also pursuing them worried him greatly. As he wondered how he might handle the situation in Daizel he was shaken form his thoughts by a sudden voice yelling.

"Vex, wait for me!!!
"

He stopped as the fix-girl was running up to him. He gave himself a small amused laugh and grin before she got to close to notice and turned to face her as he waved acknowledging he noticed her. "So it seems I have one following me after all."

They were close enough to the stables as it was so when she finally caught up to him he gave her a small moment to catch her breath. He just motioned one hand to the stables and was about to speak when he was interrupted this time by the person he saw Eile speaking to previously when he went back into the bar.

"I… I'm sorry, but I cannot let an act of kindness go without repaying it- I am going to Daziel as well and I'd be glad to serve as your protection, should something happen on the way."

Realizing the second comment seemed to be more directed at her all Vex did was look at her and back to the stables and slowly started walking towards them and spoke as he was walking.

"I take it if none of us have any objections then to traveling together we should best be on our way then. It seems we all have an interest for that place after all."

Vex handed the stable keeper money for three horses since he was allready closer and hoped onto his horse. "So shall we be on our way then?"

OOC: Part 1: Very sorry for long delay have lot's of issues at home that putting a mental strain on me. Left the end open for either of you two to start the trip to Daizel or mark our arrival in it later.

Part 2: Will be making another post shortly while our group is in mid ride to mark more of the titan appearance.

Eile Kilen

She saw Vex turn around and wave at her as she caught up to him at the stables.

"So it seems I have one following me after all."

"Yup." Eile managed to say as her tail drooped a bit before she got her breath back before another voice called out.

"I… I'm sorry, but I cannot let an act of kindness go without repaying it- I am going to Daziel as well and I'd be glad to serve as your protection, should something happen on the way."

It was the man with the huge sword back at the bar. Eile smiled at the man.

"I'm ok with that. My name's Eile. Mister leather man here is Vex. What's your name?" Eile asked as her tail swung side to side as she saw Vex handing the stable master some cash.

"I take it if none of us have any objections then to traveling together we should best be on our way then. It seems we all have an interest for that place after all.
So shall we be on our way then?"

Eile nodded, smiling as she ran right over to a horse that vex paid for. Her skirt/dress made it hard for her to sit properly on the horse, but she managed as she started to pet said horse.

"Ok Horsey. I shall name you Fred." Eile declared grabbing the harness as 'Fred' nickered.

The ground began to shake more violently now with a force unlike the one before, this one could easily be felt for miles to comes. The fences inside the village of Daizel crumbled from the force and the windows that were raised shattered from being forced down. BOOOM it was a sound that resonated across the plains as the previous seen hand hit the earth and it shook from it's own weight as another mound seemed to rise, it was a head and the only features that could be seen where to pitch black eyes that seemed to give way into the shape of caves. It was as if a void themselves were seeping from them nothing could be seen from them just an utter abyss. The ground shook more as the creature rose from the pit more it's head slowly followed by another hand and another quake as it's hand hit the earth. As if lifting itself from the hole it pushed up and the earth itself grew a bigger crater, the creature was forming itself from the earth as it grew so did the crater. Soon the crater was a two mile wide crevasse and the creature itself stood atleast twenty feet high. A dust cloud blew from it's head as it opened it's mouth only to reveal the same black at it's eyes and it let out a groan then as it's head turned toward Daizel as if sensing something. It now began it's slow approach towards the village ready to wreck whatever was in it's path, it wanted to find want was drawing him to there.

It was as Erica had expected. He was no ordinary soldier. She hadn't thought to dally and wait for the man, and she had no idea why she did, but she did. And when he stepped out, she knew she would have to hold back from any direct engagement at this point. This man was armed to the teeth and well-armoured to boot. He moved with sluggish pace, but there seemed to be few kinks in his defence - or at least, none that Erica could visibly observe in such a short span of time. Regardless, when it came down to it, Erica will not hesitate to comply with her orders, even if it were the nigh-impossible task of eliminating this man. Fortunately for her, that was not the mission - yet.

Having no more reason to stay, she was about to return to her temporary abode when suddenly, ground shook. This shaking was unlike the one before; so violent was it that buildings trembled and the windows shattered. Even Erica, with her finely honed sense of balance found difficulty standing without grabbing on to something... And the closest person to grab happened to be the man. Ordinarily, she would have apologized, but mysterious occurrences were afoot. In the distance, the hand proved to be a part of a larger creature which began to emerge.

The locals were understandably horrified, having escaped their houses for fear of it collapsing and then seeing a gigantic monstrosity emerge. Even worse, this monstrosity faced the village and began to amble towards it. Each step it took sent shockwaves around the immediate vicinity, crushing everything unfortunate enough to be in the way. Chaos promptly erupted as the locals began running for their lives, leaving Erica and the man on the streets. Erica unhanded the man, having no more need for support amidst the tremors.

"So, will I get to watch something now?" She queried, teasing the man with his earlier words.

Damian stood in awe as the creature took form at the center of the crater. He did not notice the edge of the crater moving toward him as he watched. As the earth fell in front of him he stumbled and jump back to avoid falling in. He could feel the earth shake under his feet just before crumbling away. He turned and began to reach to solid ground.

He lost sight of the thing forming in the middle as he scrambled up from the expanding pit. He did not need to see it in order to know that the creature was still growing. He could feel the power continuing to accumulate at the center. Damian could only imagine what the creature looked like as he kept moving from the edge of the crater.

Then it stopped.

Damian climbed over the side of the crater pulled himself to his feet. Breathing heavy, he checked to see if he had sustained any injuries. His hand began to glow white as he moved it over his arms and legs. The scratches and scrapes faded from his body as his hand moved over them. He had found no major injury, and by the time he was done the only evidence of his fall was the few tears he made in his pants. He kept his composure as he turned to face the creature at the center.

It was already moving in the direction of Daizel. The only thing between it and the town currently was himself and a couple of others that refused to run.

As Iras has caught up with the little canine girl she didn't seem to consider this a bad thing, good. Iras would have been sort of in a odd place if he was given something without a way to pay her back.
A short introduction named her as Elie, she also explained that the other man she was with was named Vex. Though before Iras had any time to introduce himself properly Vex left the group and came back with three horses.
Not only was he given more money than he'd manage to eat for over three days, he was given, or at least, loaned a horse… The kindness of some people.
"Iras, set them on fire! I'm sure the little one burns real good" Scelus tried to command his host.
Scelus was paid no attention and as soon as Vex came back Iras had to introduce himself properly.

"My name is Iras Aedari, call me what you deem fitting" He smiled at them, had he finally found someone that were genuinely nice? The world had too few left of them.
Taking the reins he was given the horse refused to let Iras mount it, trying to tear itself away from the man. Swapping the reins to the bandaged hand was needed to make sure he could hold it and not have it run off into the town.
"Stablekeeper, need some help here!" he shouted. A young boy came running out and took over the reins, managing to calm down the animal.
Iras had to sigh deeply. "Animals tend to dislike me…" He forced out a smile as he was thinking to himself. The road to Delkoz was far, though Iras had an exceptionally strong stamina even he would fail to match up to a good horse. He might be able to run a while but realistically speaking that was not going to work out properly.
"I… I have an idea" the stable boy stated as he lead the horse back to the stables. He came back out after a few minutes with a simple wooden cart.
"You can sit in this and have one of their horses pull you" The stable boy had a nice head on his shoulders, indeed this would work though Iras was feeling even more into Vex' debt.
No, he would do this. He would return the favors he has been given regardless how long it would take.
"Thank you" Iras sighed somewhat relieved to the young lad.
"Here" the boy returned some money, no doubt the difference on cost of the cart and the horse, before he can off.

Iras swallowed his pride and walked to Vex.
"It seems this is the most likely way for me to come with you… I can run but I fear I will be useless if something happens" Iras sported a clearly forced smile but there were truth in his words.
"Here" Iras returned the money he was given by the stable-boy.

Iras helped and did most of the fastening the cart to one of the horses.
"Finally we are traveling like we should! Being driven like kings!" Scelus let out in Iras' head, naturally the power-hungry demon with a god-complex would like this. Again Iras paid him no mind.

When the ground began to shake as violently as it had, Seathos felt a little extra weight press itself against him. This made him stumble slightly, resulting in him planting his halberd into the ground to stabilize himself. It was difficult to hear much of anything over the shattering of windows and the panicking of the people, but he could still see just fine as a monster began to rise from the crater. Once the shaking stopped and the woman let go of him, she had asked if she'd get to see something from him now, to which he simply smiled and spoke, "I'm suited up, I couldn't run away in this armor if I wanted to." He was feeling cocky today, but he tried not to get over confident, that could end badly.

As he walked with his halberd on his shoulder once again towards the craters rim, he noticed there was another man standing there staring at the threat. "You gonna fight it?" Saethos inquired. It was pretty obvious Saethos had all intentions of fighting this thing, even if he still smelled of alcohol, he just wanted to know if this man was friend or foe, as he was never too good a judge of character when it came to men with capes.

"You gonna fight it?"

Damian turned to the source of the voice. He was not sure if the question was even directed to him. Either way it sounded like a call to arms. If he was needed Damian would join the fight. He would not allow this creature to destroy a helpless city. He just was not sure of the creature's intentions. He did not want to attack something unless it truly posed a threat to the people around him.
The man who spoke was staring right at him. He looked intimidating in his armor with his large weapon. He came prepared to fight;there was no question about that. Damian could just the imagine the stories that could come from a man such as this.

"I will fight if it comes to it. If this creature does not seek conflict, I will give it none."

His words were stern as he spoke. His expression was grim. He knew full well that he would most likely have to fight, but deep down he hoped there was no need. The creature was coming straight at them. Everything about it seemed menacing.
Damian turned away from the man and faced the creature once again. He pushed his thumb against the hilt of his saber to release it from its sheath. He was ready to draw his blade if the threat became real.

Shen-!

As tremors rumbled their way through the earth once more, Shenorai's balance was lost and the young woman found herself on the ground yet again. She lifted her head and peered off in the direction where she first saw that earthen titan. There was no doubt about it; it was on the move. Regardless if the earth had ceased its trembling or not, she scrambled back to her belongings to finish packing them up. All that remained was to shove the last few spikes for her tent back in her satchel.

The voice called to her once again. Shen, are you al-
"I'm fine, Leondra!" the girl snapped back, yanking on the drawstring to close her pack. "Which way is the golem going?"
The ghost paused. ...you're not going to like the ans-
"Where?!" Shen scowled, reaching for her crossbow.
It's going to Daizel.

Hissing curses under her breath, Shen snatched up her quiver and got to her feet. The remaining embers of her campfire were smothered by a couple kicks of dirt. Drawing a deep breath, the young woman pulled her hood back over her head as she began to make a mad sprint toward town at long last. She had to intercept that monstrosity. Casualties may be expected, but if there was a way she could prevent needless death...

Even if you get there, what could we possibly do about this? Leondra asked in a grave voice, doubting the girl's ability.
"Minimalize collateral damage," came a simple answer.
This is rash and stupid, you know that, right? This isn't part of the miss-
"Mission or not, these people have lost enough!" Shen interrupted.
Leondra hesitated. You're not going to make it in time.
A grin curled the hunter's lips. "Watch me."

As she ran, Shen held her left arm before her, curling her fingers into a fist. A cool tingle began to flow down her arm and gather around her hand. White energy could scarcely be seen darting about her knuckles and fingers. With a single motion, Shenorai whipped her arm back behind her, her palm now open to release the spell. A fierce wind struck the hunter from behind, pushing her along as she ran. With every step she took, the winds carried her further across the barren fields. Shen could only pray that it would be enough to reach the golem before it was too late...

The titan looked at some of the people gathered before it, not being able to see discerning features as all it saw was the Aura of the people it attacked indiscrimitley. It took it's left foot and stomped close to the group mostly trying to disorient them and get them off balance. It's next attack was it's fist flying towards the most bulky looking one of them, be then so much dust was flying around that it couldn't see any of the others yet so it left it's fit in the ground as it was looking around.

Vex was carrying a cart behind his horse now to carry the one known "Iras". For whatever reason this person could not handle being around animals it seemed so he couldn't ride the horse that was previously bought for him. Looking over to Eile and then behind over to Iras he asked them a question, "So if you don't mind me asking what made you two decide to come to Daizel?"

Eile Kilen

"So if you don't mind me asking what made you two decide to come to Daizel?"

Eile spurred Fred to a gallop as she rode beside Vex and Iras with a smile.

"Well, if you must know... their food." Eile said with her most serious face before she laughed.

After catching her breath from laughing, Eile decided to give the real answer as her tail swayed behind her in the wind.

"I'm looking for other people that had come into contact with a particular stone called Shryllen and I heard that someone was researching the stone in Daizel. I figured I'd drop by and see what they learned." Eile replied before feeling the horse slow down a bit due to a rumble in the ground.

Eile frowned as she quickly put on her Shryllen Knuckles.

"I don't know about you guys, but that shaking didn't feel natural." Eile called out as she spurred Fred to go faster as she raced off toward Daizel.

Soon enough, Eile saw the outskirts of the village as she then saw something that made her tail stand stiff with her fox ears flattening. Some sort of towering titan with it's fist in the ground.

"Wow, that's one big thing." Eile muttered as she slowed the horse down a bit.

As Saethos heard the words of the man he ahd approached roll out of his mouth, Saethos simply laughed. "Byahaha, You know, the idea of this being friendly hadn't even occurred to me!" There wasn't much more time to talk as this giant slammed its foot into the ground, raising debris in the form of dust and shaking the earth. Saethos was well planted enough that it was only a minor inconvenience. He had spent a lot of his life battling at sea, where the waves made the ship hard to predict where to place your weight. As such, the shaking of the earth only made him wobble slightly. Out of instinct, Saethos turned his natural barrier into a purely physical barrier, which proved to be the right call as its massive fist came directly for Saethos.

Being the brute that Saethos thought he was, he insisted on taking the blow so he could force open room for a counter attack. This, however, proved to be a bad idea. His aura shattered on impact, as expected, but the impact had also sent Saethos back a few feet. Fortunate for him, he was rather unharmed, just a little surprised. Gathering himself again, Saethos voiced, "So, we're gonna play that game?" Readying his halberd for a strike, he lifted it into the air, grunting as the massive blade beamed towards the sun. As it fell backwards, he quickly pounded his hand on the higher half of the handle, making its direction change as it cleaved through the air. The sound of its blade and metal handle whipping through the air was heard as it smashed into the arm of the golem. The blades weight coupled with momentum made a blow that cleaved off the golems hand. "Hah, weak," he spoke too early as the golems hand began to simply grow back.

Directing words at his acquaintance, Saethos communicated his thoughts. "The trick here is to smash him into pieces before they regrow. See if you can find a weak point, I'll piss it off!" His words were full of arrogance as Saethos thought for sure hw could take anything the golem had to dish out. Little did Saethos know, his method of defeating the golem was quite possibly the least effective form of fighting this thing, but Saethos was known for his strength, not his brain.

OOC: I have been given permission to G-mod Vex just enough for this idea to happen. I will leave it sort of vague so Soul can fill in the blanks.
----------------------------

Vex aided Iras in connecting the cart, it was not really a problem though Iras made sure he did most of the work, after all he was gonna lazy his ass all the way to Daziel. Though, the horse was not too fond of the man with bandages being this close to him.

As they were on the road, the trip itself was rather uneventful though Scelus felt like he was almost getting parts of the traveling he deserved, after all a god of death and fire should not have to walk, let alone ride himself!
Vex broke the silence with a question about why they were heading to Daziel, the little canine girl answered first and she seemed to have a rather good reason to head there, Iras had not heard of this Shryllen himself so he could not really be much of help there.
“I’m going to have my sword sharpened, not all smiths are able to it and I know a guy in Daziel” Iras answered honestly. Not really being one for chit-chat he only answered when asked about something on the way.

After a while, Iras had gotten sort of comfortable in the cart, the nervous feelings and strange ideas due to him being driven like this was gone and he was enjoying the scenery and being in the company of people, though he did find it odd that the foxgirl had not reacted on him. Even those who were part-animal tended to sense something dark in him, or perhaps she had and were just being polite and not asking? Iras were not gonna mention it unless asked, and even then he would dodge the question with a poor excuse.

All this trains of thought were derailed off a cliff as he felt the rumbling in the ground that Eile mentioned. She put on some rather interesting gloves, clearly ornamental but still built for usage as she darted past Vex and the cart-rider.
Coming into the view of what the girl spoke of he saw a large, very large golem of sorts. It was standing in a large crater which was without a doubt where it got its’ material from. Iras had dealt with elementals and golems before but some of them tended to have a certain set of laws around them which was not always as clear as one would think. The weirdest example of this was the fire elemental Iras killed by setting it on fire....

Whatever they had planned was halted, Iras had to be part of taking this thing down, it was clear as day that this creature was going to attack the settlement, all the innocent lives it could end up taking out. It was going to be a disaster.
“Vex, get me closer!” Iras commanded, he had an idea as they got some speed.
Iras pulled the Welder, his large and heavy sword in his bandaged hand, swapping arms he held it in his left hand partly horizontal pointing away and back from him he used his bandaged hand to remain in the cart, it was a bumpy ride to say the least.

As they got closer Iras noted that they were not alone in this fight, seems like whoever was over there and fighting already made a decent cut in it but it simply healed back the wound it got.
Iras let out his second command. “Vex, cut the reins! Loosen the cart!”
The horse was running towards this large golem against it’s better judgement, no doubt Vex had enough skill to force the horse to do this, doing as told he cut the reins holding the cart to the horse. The long wooden supports that held the cart fastened to the beast fell down into the dirt, digging itself deep and hard the momentum of the wheels, Iras and being the part with the most wood in it pole vaulted the man like a catapult, sending him soaring through the air.
“BE GONE, CREATURE!” Iras shouted as he was in mid-air, having the large golem turn towards the incoming demon half breed.
The shout was done simply to get it’s attention, it was now facing him. Landing in it’s face Iras made the sword come down first in a thrust, digging it deep into the stone and dirt the monster was made of, he was hanging there only by the embedded sword.
“Scelus!” Iras commanded in a way that sounded like he was talking to someone rather than casting a spell.
In a split second Iras changed, his right eye started to glow slightly and the bandages around his right arm turned to dust as the demon hand started glowing hotter and hotter. A hard punch following a war-cry almost containing two voices as the fist dug itself into the face of the earthen monster. Heat and light emanated from the new-found hole in the head of the golem, vapor inside expanding until it was too much for the rock to bear and exploded outwards. A large hole, if not most of the head, was now gone in a vapor explosion though Iras realized something when the being didn't fall down. This was not enough...
A large, heavy and strong hand found itself around Iras, pulling the pest away from the face it was regrowing already as it flung the man away from itself. Finding himself airborne he cursed in various languages why he didn’t have wings or the power of flight. Face first he went through a large tree and disappeared into a grassy crater of his own.
It took a minute before he got himself back to his feet, wounds healing and sword still stuck in the tree, he would have to pull it out of the vegetation and get back into the fight.

Eile Kilen

Eile watched as Vex and Iras sped off ahead of her. She watched as Iras jumped into the air and before her eyes, saw his arm turn into something similar to her right arm as Iras' attack took the head of the creature off before seeing him get flung off.

"Shoot." Eile muttered as she got off of Fred and starting to run at the giant with her tail trailing being her.

"Let's do this. Shadow Drive!" Eile called out as darkness surrounded her.

The fox girl leap into the air as the darkness relocated her behind the giant in the air. Eile looked at the ground as she saw an iron wall of a man looking at the giant before bringing her attention back to the fight.

"Flame Burst!" Eile called out as the erg of mana erupted from her hands and sent out a huge pillar of fire that engulfed the giant.

Eile smiled a bit before the giant waved the fire away and threw a fist at the fox girl. With no time to block, Eile instinctively reacted by yelling out a couple of words.

"Infusion: Flame Burst!"

The fire still burned around the giant rushed towards Eile's Shryllen Knuckles as it was absorbed into the knuckles, which glowed bright red before the fox girl swung at the fist. The attack landed as a loud explosion was heard. The giant's hand was blown off into bloody chunks as Eile was thrown back by the explosion, landing and skidding right in front of the iron man as her ears fluttered to listen for the giant's next attack. She looked back at the giant as it began to regrow the missing hand.

"Iras, Vex! We need to overwhelm it's regeneration!" Eile called out as the hand finished regrowing the hand.

At last, Shenorai ceased her magic and skidded on her boots for a good six or eight feet, kicking up a cloud of dust before finally coming to a halt. Now at the edge of the massive crater, she pulled her hood over her head as she squinted down at the chaos below. She was surprised at the number of warriors who were already engaging the titan. To her knowledge, there were very few fighters who were lingering in Daizel during the past couple weeks, all of them foreign to the small town. Observing the skirmish revealed an interesting quirk; much like the legendary Hydra, lost limbs are regrown at a rapid pace.

This... isn't good, the ghost said in a wary tone. How are we supposed to tackle this thing if it keeps regenerating?
Shen pulled out her crossbow, hooking her foot in the stirrup and readying its string. "Magical constructs like this need something to hold it together, yeah?"
Well... yes, but I don't see any sort of core.
The human rolled her eyes as she brought her crossbow back up to load a bolt. "Leondra, do you ever see the core of an apple or the pit of a peach before it's eaten? No. We need to whittle it down until it's exposed."

With the spirit silenced, Shen started down the crater at a jog, careful to shift her weight accordingly with the slopes and to avoid slipping on or tripping over stray rocks. As much as she wanted to use that magic again to speed things up, she knew she'd just fall flat on her face. She jogged, then ran for nearly another mile before she could even dream of being within range of striking the beast.

Perhaps it was best that it was being distracted by so many other fighters. But why so many of them chose to be up close and personal with this thing was beyond her. Regardless, Shen spotted the gaping hole that made up the dark 'eye' of the beast. Though uncertain if it could actually see anything or not, the human took her chances. Her bow was raised and she released her bolt to fly into the dark recess in its head. Shen didn't look up to see if the hit was true, though. Instead, she quickly readied the string once more before running to another position, reloading while relocating.

The titan pounded the earth in rage. It's furry building as some of these auras managed to delimb it even though it regrew it's limbs it still felt pain from having them separated. Though one of that auras tried shooting it in it's hollow eye all that rang was a echoing dull clank from it hitting towards the back of it's head. As of now the titan focused it's attention on the one that attempted to remove his head had it not regenerated. He found the being in a small crater of it's own and went to stop on it with his left foot. Then going into a pivoting motion he stepped forward with his right foot and spun himself around, using the momentum he had built up he slightly bent down so that his arms were at head level to these beings and went for a right heymaker at the other one that took it's hand off.

====================================================================================================================================================

Vex was still on his horse as his other two companions launched their attacks. As he tried to stop the horse he noticed another person step into the fray and of all things tried shooting a crossbow into the creatures hollowed eyes. He could only blurt out one comment towards this person. "The creature is made of rock, something like that won't work on it." Taking a look around the people fighting this thing he tried to get a general scope of their abilities or who could do what. Elie was right in that they needed to overwhelm this things regeneration abilities, but the question was could this group do it. As slight ideas began to form in his mind he yelled out to all the people gathered here.

"Allright any of you who lack magic capabilities try and distract him. Try to get him to focus his attention on you maybe try taking of his hands or his feet out from under him. Those of you that do possess any magical abilities focus as much of your magic as you can at the creatures torso. Since whatever may be causing it to regenerate is not in his head our best bet is that it's in there. We need to cause enough damage that we can see it and then try and remove it before it begins reforming."

Vex took a last look around at the people gathered. Some of them oddly out of place here while another could be passed off as a traveler, so he didn't know what to make of everyone that was gathered. But that mattered little to him as he drew his sword and waved his left hand over the blade. The blade itself now turned to mist and was slowly beginning to reform, he just hoped he could change the shape in time before this thing decided to attack him.

Everything was happening sosuddenly. Damian had hoped to avoid a fight, but the creature had begun itsattack. He had to dive out of the way to avoid the initial punch. He rolled andlooked back to see what had happened to the man who had been speaking to him.To his surprise the man was still standing after taking that powerful hit. The nextthing he knew the creatures hand was severed from its arm.

"The trickhere is to smash him into pieces before they regrow. See if you can find a weakpoint, I'll piss it off!"

Damian just smiled at thiscomment. This stranger had an interesting confidence about him. Whether it wasarrogance, pride or just plain insanity, Damian did not know. No matter what it was, this man could holdhis own in a fight.

Damian took off running to getbehind the monster to find an opening being sure to stay out of reach of itslashing arms. He had made it behind thecreature and stood a few yards from its back looking for a weak spot. His hand holding the handle of his saberwhich still sat sheathed at his side.
He noticed a small crack thatwent across the back. It was the perfectopening for him to attack it from the inside. He just needed to slide his blade into the crack and burn it from theinside out. If he put enough of himselfinto it he could melt it down so it could not regenerate.
Damian pulled the saber fromits sheath and charged. He jumped in the air, holding his weapon above his headwith both hands ready to be plunged deep into the creature’s back. The Head of the creature suddenly exploded. A chunk hit him in the chest, knocking him tothe ground.
The fight had been joined byothers. Each attacked trying tooverwhelm the monster. Damian’s visionblurred as he tried to see who these new comers were. He tried to get up but the pain in his chestwas too great. He had broken a rib. It was too difficult to focus enough to healhimself with the battle being fought before him. He had to find a safer place to heal.
He pulled himself to his knee using his sword as a cane. He left hand was clenching the broken rib out of sheer pain. He was lucky the others had the full attention of the creature. He just hoped he would not be a victim ofanother of their attempts to destroy it.

Something much more fascinating than the golem had appeared, Erica realised as she shied away from the melee which everyone seem so intent to be a part of. Furthermore, Erica had to reluctantly concede that her skills would be insufficient against an enemy of this scale, and of this nature. After all, her skills were purely physical, unlike these warriors who were now locked in battle. How easily they decimated parts of the golem! Watching them, Erica couldn't help the pang of jealousy. She quickly realised the pointlessness of such useless notions, however, opting to observe the battle as it unfolds.

The soldier she had chosen to follow was clearly no mere soldier, as she had thought. A fist from the golem thrown in his direction was easily deflected and destroyed in the next instant. If not for the golem's regenerative abilities, this battle could well have ended much sooner. In the next moment, the golem became distracted by someone, and its head got blown off... And then there was a person flying through the air. Erica scoffed, watching the figure land in a clump of trees some distance away. She dismissed the man as dead, placing her focus back on the golem.

It was hard not to focus on the golem now, given the fire engulfing the beast. This battle just gets flashier and flashier, Erica notes wryly. The golem launches a fist at the flame-caller, only to have its fist blown off again. Its regenerative abilities is once again demonstrated, as a new hand reforms itself. "How long will this last," Erica wondered aloud as she glanced up the street. The townspeople, having realised the golem was being held at bay, now gathered to watch the grand exchange. Some enterprising spirits were already peddling their wares, already trying to make the most of this spectacle. Erica could only marvel at such opportunistic optimism.

Looking back at the golem and the ragtag bunch gathered to fight it, Erica could already see someone trying to get the bunch in line. He addressed the others, passing on instructions, probably. "But will they obey," Erica muttered. "That is the question." Following some of the townspeople, she sat down on the stone path, watching the skirmish from a safe distance.

Eile Kilen

"Allright any of you who lack magic capabilities try and distract him. Try to get him to focus his attention on you maybe try taking of his hands or his feet out from under him. Those of you that do possess any magical abilities focus as much of your magic as you can at the creatures torso. Since whatever may be causing it to regenerate is not in his head our best bet is that it's in there. We need to cause enough damage that we can see it and then try and remove it before it begins reforming."

"Got it." Eile called out before cursing for taking her eyes off of the golem.

She saw the giant spin around and throw a fist at her. With a man behind her, she couldn't dodge. So she did the next best thing, attack the fist. Slamming both of her hands at the fist, a pair of explosions erupted as it sent Eile flying over the man and crashing right into a merchant's stand. Eile groaned as she felt a sharp pain along her arm. Looking on her cursed arm, several wood fragments stuck into her as blood slowly seeped out. The fox girl got out of the ruins of the unfortunate merchant before shaking herself, tail and ears clean of any wood chips that clung to her. Soon after that, Eile decided to deal with her injuries. There was only three big chunks of wood in her arm as she pulled each one out.

"Ok. That's all the wood out. Healing!" Eile called out as she felt the mana in the surrounding area rush into her arm and before her eyes, the sizable wounds closed on itself until nothing shown. Eile smiled as she looked back at the giant that had it's attention on something else.

"Shadow Drive!" Eile called out again as she lept into the air. The darkness relocated her to the top of a house as Eile started concentrating.

"Dual Cast: Flame Burst!" Eile called out. This time, two pillars of fire erupted from beside her and intermixed with each other, creating a stronger fire that raced out in front of her and struck the giant at the body.

"Vex. That giant's made of rocks right? I can melt the body. But I need more time, don't let it near me!" Eile called out as she focused on slowly melting the golem.
