Resident Evil: Abandoned Hope​

Six years after the destruction of Umbrella. Chris Redfield has become a member of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance and is sent to investigate possible Bio Organic Weapon smuggling in Africa. Upon arriving in the Kijuju Autonomous Zone, Chris meets his partner, Sheva Alomar of the BSAA West African branch. Together, the two individuals attempt to rendezvous with the BSAA's "Alpha Team", who were attempting to intercept a supposed B.O.W smuggler named Ricardo Irving. However, the situation quickly escalates as their local contact is executed and the pair are forced to fight literal crowds of Las Plaga infested Majini. Eventually, they find Captain DeChant, the only remaining member of Alpha Team. Fatally wounded, the Captain warns them of Irving's betrayal and gives them a file. It is their prime objective to track Irving and his investigations and put him to an end, and uncover the truth that has cursed Kijuju.

History: At the age of 8, Sheva's parents died in what appeared to be a factory accident. Her uncle came to take Sheva and house her in his home along with 7 other children. One day Sheva ran away from her uncle's house into the savannah where she was found by a truck driver who housed and fed her, but little did she know that this truck driver was a member of the guerilla group. She later joined the anti-government guerilla group where she learned that what happened to her parents was much more than a simple accident. The factory was the location of a final test of one of Umbrella's many B.O.W.'s. With the help of the government's army, Umbrella erased Sheva's village and its inhabitants once the test was complete. Sheva remained with the guerrillas through her childhood. She was 15 when she was contacted by American operatives to stop Umbrella from selling a B.O.W. to the guerrillas. With Sheva's help, the operatives stopped the deal and apprehended the Umbrella salesman. The man who initially contacted Sheva offered her a chance to start her life again in America. Sheva accepted. Within months, Sheva was speaking English like a native and enrolled in a university two years later. After graduation, her benefactor suggested she join the B.S.A.A. While Umbrella had dissolved years before this, Sheva's hatred of Umbrella and all others like them led her to join the B.S.A.A. Sheva was assigned to Josh Stone's unit for eight months for training. Upon completion of her training, B.S.A.A. chose her to become an agent.

Occupation: He has none really. He worked in the Umbrella labs just as it collapsed. He is currently unemployed.

History:
Josh has been haunted by the Raccon city incident for years. When he was young, he developed a heart condition that had cause him to have a weak heart. He grew up with his parents who both worked in the Umbrella labs in the hospital of Raccon city. Upon moving to the city Josh was considered a genious. He had gained the ability from playing numerous strategy games and likes to play it safe. When he was 16, he was caught in Umbrella's purge of Raccon city. This was not good for his weak heart but luckily he kept medicine on him the whole time. While trying to escape the city he met a young girl by the name of Melissa who was also trapped within the city. Sneaking to the hospital labs where his parents worked, Josh and Melissa encountered many scares and encounters of the undead. When Josh found his parents had become one of the undead, he had no choice but to put them out of their miseries. Using the river leading through Raccon city and out and with small boat, Josh and Melissa had barely been able to escape as the boat had reached the outskirts of the city just before it was destroyed.

One year later Josh's medical condition had gotten better. Due to the constant injections of his last scare, the antibiotics had begun to warp his body. into something weaker. Josh went to Umbrella labs for help, having his parents colleagues help him. They discovered the cure for this warped condition was the T-virus. So thus Josh was injected with a modified version of the virus which helped the regeneration of his entire body. Oddly enough the virus had given him a stronger more functioning body, only to have the cost of this being a shortened lifespan of 30 more years.

Upon this discovery, Josh had gotten to be enrolled as an employee in the labs for three months trying to find a cure to get the virus out, but had come across something far more horrific: The H-virus. It was a combination of the G-virus and the T-virus that would cause genetic mutations of the undead with no antibiotic. Unfourtunaltely the Umbrella company fell shortly after...

Six years later Josh has been trying to expose the dealy virus he discovered to the government before it was too late. After being rejected numerous times, he figured he would have to worm his way in through the Bioterrorism division...

now years on, after the destruction of the Umberella corporation and the BSAA coming together, Chris has been sent to Africa to join Sheva Alomar his new partner and capture Bio terrorist Ricardo Irving.

after reading the story again, i get the feeling we are playing through the storyline of RE5 with a party instead of just the partner ship.

It is a long the same storyline, but I'm going to change it a little bit, but it sort of is with more people instead. Different happenings and different outcomes though.
