Anime Sailor Moon

Sailor Moon is awesome! Ive got every loast episode and the 3 movies from Ebay last year for my 21st. I havent seen them all yet lol! So many!

Me and my friends were known as the Sailor Scouts in high school and I was Sailor Mercury, just cause I had short hair, not cause I was a smart arse or anything lol!

I always liked Sailor Mercury when I was a kid, musta been something to do with the nerdiness :wacky: I liked Sailor Mars alot too...and I absolutely hated Sailor Jupiter, although that was due to her dubbed voice...
 
I really really used to love this show. :D It's just, I haven't seen it in such a looong time...

Leki remembers a long time ago, when I was about 9-12, I was expecting a a Sailor Moon movie... well, mom and stepdad suddenly decided to go and see a friend a few hours away as the movie was about to start. I threw a fit. XD
 
*hmmm this anime is sooo girly but i must admit i watched it a lot when i was a kid :)

*when they use their techniques its like a power ranger action thing,but only in anime hehe :D weeeeeeee :D
 
I Loveddd Sailor Venus, Mars, and Jupiter. Haha.

I actually didn't like Sailor Moon because of how ditsy she was and how useless she was until the end of the damn battle. -___-
 
<_<;; I really don't want to see those. They seem a tad creepy and I really like the original sailor moon. haha.
 
Just recently saw a few episodes on YouTube, somebody had the Japanese version with English subtitles. I liked those, the English dub version made me think everybody on the show was on crack! So for the longest time I ignored the show, save for reading bios and stuff on the characters. Also looking at many of the artbook pics online which a lot of them are so beautiful.

From their bios and soundclips, my favorites are Mercury and Uranus.
 
lolz I rememebr watching Sailor moon as a really really really little kid I watched every episode when it came on toonami I would cry every time I missed the fight with emerald cus she was my favorite I missed that 1 episode EVERY single time I still haven't seen it to this day and I was so mad I'd watch the whole series from start to finish again only to end up missing that one episode again xP
 
My daughter just finished watching all 81 episodes (English version) the other night. Naturally, I watched it with her but I was surprised that I still liked the show even to this day. I was a huge fan back when I was a kid...actually my brother was as well, and it brought some good memories when I watched this for the second time. Emerald's laugh annoyed me sooo much, and I hated Sailor Mars' second dubbed voice in the later episodes. >.> They should have just stuck with her original voice - it was a lot better, I think.

I did wonder though...Sailor Moon, Mars, Mercury, and Jupiter all had episodes where it shows them re-discovering their powers and that they're the Sailor Scouts. But Venus...where did she come from? =/ She just suddenly appeared on this one episode and she was...well, already Sailor Venus. No background, whatsoever. Did it ever explain in the Japanese version why that was the case...?
 
Do you have the Sailor Moon DVD set or something? If so where in the world did you get it? I would love to have that added to my collection. =)
 
Hayate, try ebay. You can find tons of anime DVDs on ebay. I'll bet you if you went and did a search now for Sailor Moon under DVDs you'd find a shit ton. That's where I've acquired all of the anime I own now. :D
 
Nah just watched it on youtube. I might get it on DVD for my daughter on Christmas though since she loves it so much. Hope it's not too costly.
