SB PMs...

SB PMs aren't working. If you click on the user's name, it takes you to their profile page.

Yes this is an intended change. You can still PM someone with the use of the /pm username; text just like you could before, and just like the command dropdown arrow will tell you

Or use rightclick and then click on private message. It worked for me that way.

EDIT: Never mind, it doesnt work anymore for some reason...it did work when someone PM's me first.

I don't really like that change either. Seems like a whole lot more work, and would make a lot of people/newcomers confused, I think.

Yeah, I can see where someone would not be paying attention, mess up the command, and have everyone see the PM.

Not that I'm really complaining, I just like the old way better, since there is less room for error.

Yeah, I'm not liking the SB much at all at the moment. It seems... Smaller, as if less shouts can be seen. Plus, typing in /pm username is kind of a step backwards. As Kira said, the last thing you want to do is fuck that up and have everyone read your PM. It was much better the other way, if you ask me.

i preferred the other way too, im pretty green to this site but i had just got used to everything and it got changed, now im finding it really hard

This is the main problem imo. When you see people make shouts it's obvious that people can quite easily make a spelling mistake or a grammatical error so I'd imagine the chances of accidently seeing someones' shout which is meant to be a SBPM would be quite high. I found it easier and more beneficial to just need to click on someones' name to be able to SBPM.

The SB seemed smaller earlier, but it seems as if it's been put back to how it was

Actually, ^^^ It doesn't work like that for me, no PM tab, I have to keep typing the words in order to get the PM across.
