Hello~ Been caught up on a anime OST fever recently. However, I find the two anime OSTs (The Twelve Kingdoms, and Zetsuen no Tempest) to be becoming a little on the insufficient side... After all, spending almost an entire day listening to that as I work does help me plow through the entire playlist a few times at least. IE. I need more OSTs, but I don't really know what else I can add.

So! Do you have any recommendations? I am generally looking for something similar to those two at the moment, that is, an orchestral sort, and generally classical-inspired, either Asian (Chinese or Japanese; like with The Twelve Kingdoms, or European, like with Zetsuen no Tempest). I'm not too fond of voices for the time being, so instrumentals are preferred...

I don't have any personal recommendations due to not being in to the same genre of music - however, I remember doing this when I was younger and it helped me find so many bands that I loved.

Google: Bands like / Bands that sound like [enter name here].

I'd definitely give it a go if you're really interested in finding more bands like the ones you love. Or soundtracks, etc.

Well, I see that you perfer Asian music, and although I don't know any music like that, you could try a classical composer named Ludovico Einaudi. He's Italian but he makes classical music without vocals or anything weird. His songs are very famous, he's been in movies, tv shows and commercials. The album "Divenire" is fantastic and so is "Eden Roc".

Sorry I couldn't help out more. :/

Thanks for the heads up! Will check that out. Not sure if I will have that much luck with soundtracks, but only one way to find out!

No worries though. I do prefer some Asian classical-inspired pieces (or actual classical pieces), but I'm not restricting myself to them though, so the European classical-inspired sort is welcome as well! Thanks for the suggestion!
