yh I got to admit your method of blending the image into the background is soo amazing, the blending and the lighting is just prefect, also the small amount of effects you add leaves a fine touch to your work, I'm loving the roughness of your latest piece of work, and the text just fits perfectly with the rest of the signature :) great work and keep it up :D

Those are both awesome! :D I love the simplicity and mirroring the image behind Noel was a good move. The placement of everything is very good and the colours work reasonably well too. I'm not so sure about the plain pink area on Noel's right... Could have done with some subtle shading perhaps? The left of Serah works well, with the image blending into the background. It sort of stops behind Noel.

An update.

i'm really liking the ventus signature, is simple and works great, awesome blending and the text goes very well with the background, having the two copies of the render works well here as well, it simple and different to what you normally do, great job and keep it up :D

You have some fantastic pieces here! :)

I think this piece is my favourite. It's so dynamic and tells a story. Did you intend to suggest the render is looking ahead at the scene you've placed behind him? Or did you intend to have him waiting for danger, with an enemy approaching quietly? Both are superb concepts! :D How did you blend the piece together? :) I love the colours you've used. The scan lines work well to bring it all together. The text is spot on as it sits nicely as part of the piece.

This one is also fantastic. The colours are gorgeous. Which fonts did you use? These also work very well with the technical ambience of the piece. The mirror image of the render doesn't feel entirely necessary, but great work! Did you adjust and edit the background?

You need to make a tutorial! :ness:

I really love this piece Seiji! I think it's my favourite out of all the pieces you've done. It's perfect in every way :ryan:

Who is the character in it?

A present to Lirael, for doing my Sig. :awesome:

This one is very pretty, I've always liked simple works like these which pree'much means that I am butter over this one. ~.~
I'm afraid that the borders of the render it self are a bit too sharp and not faded/blended enough for my small liking, though;
other than that it's awesome. :3
Oh and dat background. <3

First off, let me say that I do like it, so if my following comment makes it seem like I don't, it's not the case.

Okay, well down to the nitty gritty. ;D

It's quite simple...really simple. actually, perhaps too simple. I don't know what you did to get it like this or the better question, what you didn't do, but I think it would benefit from form of foreground effects. Even a smokey-like effect would be great. I'm not going to take away the effort you put into it, I just think there could be more done foreground-wise.

Overdue short update.

Found interest in GFX again, not many artists seem to have posted anything in quite a while.

So here's mine.

Just a sig I did for Nick.

Been playing with various effects, and I got that fuzzy comic book look to it.

Your work is just getting better and better! :gasp: And it's always been impressive. :ryan:

Is there any chance you could create a tutorial for the following pieces?

These are both utterly beautiful. The effects appear to be simple, but they work wonders with the renders/stocks chosen, creating clean pieces which catch the eye. The colours are well balanced and compliment one another! We all know you're fantabulous at text. ;)

I'll see if I have time to make a tutorial for both pieces. ;)
