I recently used an hour to cut both Genesis and Sephiroth out of their recent scans, removing all text and remastering the color quality of them. I just love seing these hot 3d models used like this, so I'm sure plenty others do to.

I think Genesis got some skills too, but Sephiroth is the superior swordsman, like it was stated in the original game. I seriously believe Genesis is some sort of a red mage.

You should like make one with Weiss, Sephiroth and Genesis.

Genesis looks totally badass but he just looks like he would be beaten easily.

Their character designs are sorta similar too.

That's been pointed out loads of times, and also something to do with the difference in G's costumes in CC and the secret ending of DoC.
Also, he is somewhat of a 'red mage' if you like but that wouldn't be his classification as there aren't mages in the FFVII world. He has been officially described as a master swordsman and magic user though.
I love the look of his sword too. I don't suppose anyone knows the name of it?

Genesis is the prototype of Sephiroth. And according to Genesis, all of Sephiroth's fame belongs to him. Genesis is supposed to be the second most powerfull warrior along with Sephiroth. So them two are the most ultimate warriors the world has ever seen. So basically = no, he can't be beaten easily.

Weiss? Well show me a good scan of him, without too much text and I'll add him in there for you. But he got nothing compared to G or S. Weiss has just been wanking off underground and sleeping in his chair for the last 3 years.

Nice work there. Love what you've done.

Technically, they're both originals. Genesis was intended to be the 'supreme' warrior, but then Professor Gast initiated the Jenova Project, ultimately making ShinRa decide to make another. Thus, Sephiroth was born. It wasn't a case of trial and error. The Jenova Project wasn't planned.

Can't wait to see the two fight. Genesis - the embodiment of Mako. Sephiroth - the human Jenova. Awesome fight potential? I think so!

Considering the Tsviets underwent the same experiments Genesis was exposed to, no, I wouldn't say he was "nothing" compared to either. Although this can't really be proved, considering the empowering from Omega increased his abilities dramatically...

It is confirmed that Genesis has Jenova cells in him. He is a degenerating monster. Hojo has no interest in him, he is most likely a failed experiment. He has to be pumped with Jenova cells every now and then.

If he doesnt get his injection, his hair becomes grey and he most likely dies or something.

they look like there meant to contrast each other - which they do very nicely ^_^

I smell a legendary fight between Sephiroth and Genesis coming along XD

For some reason i don't think a fight will happen but knowing nomura it would have to take place to earn the game some extra cool points xD.

Look in my sig, there you can see it's gonna happen.

And in the pic, Seph is the only one that can keep his up:P The swords really looks like a replacement of their penises in these pictures haha. The way they hold it and where the blade goes out from.

Wow! I actually thought they made Sephiroth look a little unusual in AC, but that rendering really does him justice! ^__^

He looks much younger in this scan, probably because it is supposed to be 7 years ago. You will also see the hair on his face is alot shorter. He really looks more boyish, in AC it's obvious he's a man.

I don't think Genesis was injected with Jenova Cells. I think even Dirge of Cerberus stated that he was injected with the G Substance.

They are both from different experiments, so no, not failed.

I know that but I link sephiroth might be like 27 or 28ish. He seems like it. And Genesis well he just seems much younger than him.

All assumptions though. There's plenty of people who claim that Sephiroth is in his mid-to-late thirties, or even in his fifties. No one can be certain, because there hasn't been an official age announced for him as it stands.
