It's simple who wins? Sephiroth (FF7) of Goku (DBZ)?
I cant choose myself! But i dont know. I reckon Sephy.

If not then sephy would win
 
It deoends on a lot of things. Goku has the enough power to blow away an entire planet with one hand during GT. And that's in regular mode. So, the odds are far aganist Sephorat on this one. Is that how you spell his name? I can never get it right...:dry:
 
I go with Goku because of the exact same reasons Leon Kang said above :lol:

Face it, Sephiroth and Goku both have the speed and power, but Goku has the kamehameha wave and supersaiyan which ultimately quadruples his power instantly. While Sephiroth.....erm, morphs.
 
OOOO, So far the vote is tied. Sephy could outwit Goku anyday. It's too bad too, Goku's soo sweet aswell.

in dragonball his powerlevel was 300 and at the end of GT it was like 3000million or some such number...:dry:

theres only one creature who cant defeat goku - Jean Grey / Phoenix or any other extremly powerful telepath :P

Goku's winning this fight so far!

And besides, the fight's not fair in the first place....why does Sephiroth get Masamune while Goku does not have any weapon at all...like it matters :P
 
Sephiroth. All he'd have to do is say "Hey looked a buffet!" and then stab him and then Summon meteor.

The sword won't do jack against Goku, and Meteor is not instant (If it was, then FF7 would end much sooner). Sephiroth isn't invincible, and he sure as hell can't take on the DBZers, much less Goku.

That would be a different story.

And yes, the sword isn't much of....anything against Goku. Goku'll just swipe it away or use his aura to push Sephiroth back.

Don't feel bad, Goku isn't that powerful compared to people like Silver Surfer, Pre-Crisis Darkseid, Thanos, Odin, Galactus, and the list continues... Point is, lots of people can kick Goku's ass. Just not Sephiroth.
 
People who are voting for Sephiroth, you have to understand something- Goku is a frigging GOD. Before he was even found by Bulma in that run down house in the middle of the woods, he was already capable of killing fish 20 times his size with a WOODEN STAFF and consume the whole damn thing in a matter of minutes. Within a few months he managed to not only use the kahmehameha wave after seeing Master Roshi use it once, he was able to defy all laws of physics by dumping Emperor Pilaf on the MOON after a particularly painful ass-kicking. By the end of DB, he managed to beat the most powerful alien in (what he thought was) the known galaxy, Piccolo, with some ridiculous stunts that go beyond what we call “martial arts”.

And this doesn’t even go into how tough he got by the time DBZ rolled around. When Raditz arrived, Goku could not only fly, he could stop bullets in midair and could engage in the famous DBZ “flying punch scenes”. Vegeta and Nappa showed that even fairly weak Saiyans have the power to shake off battleship artillery like it was nothing, use telekinesis, detect the precise location of virtually any powerful life form anywhere in the galaxy, and blow up an entire planet with a blast from one finger! Goku has revived himself from the dead multiple times over, escaped from hell (or “helf” in the American edited version :P) by RUNNING UP A GIANT HIGHWAY, and is able to make multiple clones of himself by the end of the first few seasons.

Around the time of the Frieza saga, Goku becomes even MORE strong. He can fly indefinitely, move so fast that he is invisible, teleport LIGHTYEARS AWAY by merely placing his fingers to his forehead, and gets only a minor scratch when Trunks pounds him with his sword! This doesn’t even get IN to his forms after Super Saiyan 1- by the end of DBZ, it wouldn’t matter how big or “powerful” of a meteor you summoned against him, he would just smack that sucker back into space like it was nothing.

If Sephiroth was anywhere NEAR as strong as Goku, he would have teleported right behind Cloud, throw him a couple thousand feet in the air, and jump kicked him right into the next dimension. Jesus.
 
While Goku can definitely beat Sephiroth with ease, he's far from a god. Sure he's strong, but it's not enough to compare with the higher tiers of Marvel, DC and various mangas. Just wanted to bring that up.

For some strange reason, I disagree.

I mean come on, mana energy emanating from his mere fists?
Even that one Galacticus guy couldn't beat Goku?
His saiyan form can beat anything. Plus, Goku's died so many times and come back, nothing can stop him.
 
I would go for Goku. Just to be different. Plus, Goku can seem to kick anyone's ass if he really tried and put his mind to it. Maybe he can achieve a new form or some shit. haha.
