After two weeks of trying, I've finally managed to get on :rage: just in case the site disappears again, I would like to ask how I can prevent this from happening again?

All other sites would work just fine for me, but when I input the forum url it says 'server not found'. Also when I tried typing FFF in Google and following the link. Are there cookies I need to delete or something for this to not happen again? :hmmm:

For a while there I thought the forum was forever gone D=

You could try and delete cookies to see if it works :)

I had that issue the other night. All I did was reboot and I was able to get the forum back.

Belazor et Britannia DragonByte Tech ?

I can find nothing in the error logs suggesting any connectivity issues.

Next time it happens, type ping finalfantasyforums.net in a command prompt window and let me know what IP address comes up.

My problem was either memory or my net needed to be reset. Since a reboot solved it for me. Also had issues with other sites as well.

I have the same problem but with another forum.... it normally works again after a few mins

Stevie Toon Link tried deleting cookies and changing browsers but no go D= either way thank you so much for your help <3
Koloth I will try that next time thanks :hmmm:

It happened again last night so I did this just now:
96.31.69.66

I'm not sure if it's related but our house has two different internet connections (idk why my parents wanted two). I thought if I connected to the other, the site would load but it doesn't. =\

No issues with any other site/forum either, just FFF :hmmm:

Perhaps an outside deity had used their power to block your connection to FFF? We are very sinful here...:hmmm:

Anyway, on topic: Have you tried it on another internet connection, like a library and so on? I know that when I tried to connect to one particular website at home, it wouldn't work for me- but when I connected to my University wifi it worked.

Also, have you tried something like "private browsing"(if you use chrome)?

How often does this happen for you? Well I do remember back in the day there would be some connection issues with this forum but that was only because of server issues and stuff like that. :hmmm:

I want to try and help but I would suggest pretty much the same. Reboot and delete cookies+cache. Try a different browser/location. Reboot your router or something? That can work also.

Hope you get this solved.
