I am not a lunkhead, I just don't quite want to be getting knocked out in one or two hits either, though. :sad3:

I'm just going to try be as good as I am allowed to be, I'll try to not go too far...but I won't stand being bound to chains and shackles, my character is who he is, and I won't quite turn all that upside down for this, as I am sure I do not have to go so far as that, which is good, because I have much interest in this RP. ;]

That werent at you CW it was a general Statement Mate:lew:

A contingency in case it happens, my dude is super powerful as well but you have to start out at a lower level in RP, im sure you know that?

Your not a lunkhead!

Well my character isn't "super powerful", just has excellent speed (excellent at dodging incoming attacks), stamina, has very good strength, but fair because it isn't Superman strong. >_>'

But anyways, he has that strong will too, and isn't very easily effected emotionally, remaining quite calm and collected most of the time, though in his feral (quadruped, a bit more wild) form his personality or mood may seem to be a bit different at times.

Why? Because it is closer to that of an ordinary wolf's true nature, which doesn't consist of all that civilized people stuff, so the more equalized impact from the human-like mannerisms and ways about him, with that of the common wolf, in his feral form his personality is simply a bit more subject to change to some degree by things going on and being said around him, as he can still speak and understand human speech in this form.

He is however almost always in his more humanoid form, that is stronger and more civilized in general. The other form mainly is best suited for times when the faster you are, the better, when you need to make yourself as small a target as you can ideally, and really that's about it of what I could think of off the top of my head. >.>

Sorry if I rambled on a bit...

Um Shape shifters aren't in FFVII:hmmm:

Rambling is what FFF is about.

Im just gonna make a regular human Character, that uses a sword, nothing to mind blowing
id like to have him use a shield but Im not sure if its such a great idea? a 2 handed sword is also possible, but not like the Buster sword more a traditional Claymore or Zwiehander.

If there's still room, I'd like to join up with an original character. I'm thinking of a former SOLDIER 2nd Class that uses dual blades, with materia focused on inflicting status effects as well as time spells.

Um Shape shifters aren't in FFVII:hmmm:

Vincent and I would disagree.

Also, Bolt, I don't see where you're getting that original characters have to be weaker than canons. I think Farro was just saying that no overly powerful characters will be allowed, and emphasizing that those generally tend to come from originals, because it's easier to put ridiculous powers into them. As opposed to canons, because we all pretty much know what Yuffie can do.

tl;dr: Even playing field for all, regardless of whether they're canon or original.

I'm not exactly fond of FF7, but I love the materia system and all. <.> I'd possibly be interested in this. /ducks out before others I owe bios to try to hurt me

original white mage, I think. Would it be unreasonable to start with Cure1 and Life? If not Life, Esuna? And I'd sorta hate to be a staff wielding white mage, but that's the norm. Any objections to a white mage having some other sort of weapon?

Well I have no legs to stand on to stand corrected Triple T:lew:

My oversight.My Embarrassment.My Fault.

I think, better be careful about that coz look what it got it me last time:hmph:, that Crimson didnt want to weaken an established character he is fond of just too fit in, 2 hits and your dead? in what RP has this ever happened?

*turns head to face slightly away, baring a grim expression* Just another case of exaggeration to try emphasize the severity of which one may be penalized for using an original character over canon...

*shrugs shoulders* But alright then, if all I need to worry about is not surpassing the canon heroes we all know and love, then I am good with it. For the record I am definitely joining this RP no matter what anyways.

Oh, and a character that can shape shift, even just a little bit, has the potential to be more interesting, it isn't something just any individual character is capable of. Acknowledge it. Study it. Respect it. :busta:

And thanks for the support Jesse, I'm pretty sure no one has any qualms now about my character in this RP being able to shape shift, whether he at any point chooses to do so or not...

I think I'm interested. It seems like it's going to be a good RP and I really need to brush up on my RP'ing, as I haven't RP'd in years (Months :wacky:) Can I be Vincent, if he isn't already taken?

I am planning to use an orginal female character that can summon a tiger, but the battle tiger has been injured from previous old battles thus she will use it mainly as a mount. Is that acceptable?

She will use it for transportation etc..
What type of fighter she is I have to make up..battle wise and magic wise still gotta invent things for that. I wont exaggerate. I'll keep it classy :griin:

*is interested, then ducks before shot at for not finishing Fairy Tail bio*

I'm getting to it!

Anywho, I would make like a monk-character: no weapons, no armor. Just sheer raw power. Oh, and spiritual enlightenment and whatever happens to go with that. Working on the second part... but it will involve his abilities.

Though, if I do make a monk-character, I'm gonna be hard-pressed to keep his physical abilities below that of Tifa... cuz, you know, Tifa isn't exactly physically strong. Not in my games has she ever been, anyways.

Wow, a lot's been said over the last day!

Seems like the biggest problem has come from people being concerned about how strong their original characters will be in comparison to canon characters.
I'll try to make it a bit clearer :) Original characters can be just as powerful as any canon character. That's no problem at all. CW, I certainly wasn't suggesting that your guy will get destroyed every time; that would be crappy for you! It was more of a general message for everyone involved, that message being:

Please don't make your character, be it canon or original, god-like! Be realistic please :gasp:

Ok then, I think we should decide who is who. Before it get's to messy.
If you're signed up please post who you want to be (if canon). If you're going with an original creation, post your bio here :)

Glad to have you all on board!

Glad to be on board. ^_^ Oh, and sorry if I've been a bit of a pain about this already, just good to have that cleared up. So yeah, don't worry too much about my character being too god-like in battles, his attacking options are rather limited, if it isn't going to be down to casting Ice spells, then it is just going in close with thrashing claw attacks and ripping teeth attacks, ready for evasive movement to (attempt to) dodge an incoming attack. xP

No need to be sorry mate!

Looking forward to seeing your character in action, don't forget to post the bio when you have a chance.

Oh, I would have already, but aren't you going to have a template for bios of characters in this RP to go by?

If not, then I can just copy/paste from my approved bio, and add to the Magic section for the sake of the RP that he has Ice materia, so he can cast Ice or whatever. :P

Here's a (very) basic template for anyone with an original character

Name:

Age:

Gender:

Physical Appearance:

Weapon:

Materia:

Personality:

History:

Terry, RedXIII is your's my friend.
If I've missed anything obvious, feel free to add it to your bio

Okay, quick question, should the History section be filled with stuff specifically of the character's past in general, or a bit of the past in this RP world? No other questions from me, at least not at the moment. :lew:

I think being an original character it should probably be specifically from the characters past, if that's OK with you?
