Yup, that would actually be ideal, then all I have to do is copy/paste stuff, not think it up. :lew: Here comes the character bio...

Name: Crimson Wolf

Age: 20

Gender: Male

Physical Appearance: Humanoid Form:

do_the_fandango.jpg

Credit to Hillary at DeviantArt for the image.

His height is 6'0, weight is 210 pounds. Crimson Wolf, like most of his race, prefers to be in his Humanoid Form. He has a fairly muscular body, though it would normally not be too noticeable for all the fur a Ferfnir has, his superior strength is apparent, and he doesn't attempt to cover up his entire body to hide it.

Overall appearance, for the most part, is the same as that of a Wolf, as any Ferfnir's is. In his Humanoid Form, he usually walks on two legs, though in either this shape or in his Feral Form, he must run on all four legs to run at his top speed.

His eye color is light brown, nose is also brown, fur is quite long, and primarily black in color, but has some crimson colored fur of unusual markings across the left side of his face, torso, low in particular, and on his tail. There is also crimson colored fur along the sides of his tail.

He wears a long, sleek black and silver leather coat, open, and a pair of sweat pants that are all black, and fit him loosely, so he uses a brown belt with a silver belt buckle to keep it held up well.

He never wears shoes, partly due to the problem of not being able to acquire any that will fit, though he never really looked much, because it is also his preference, feeling more free without any to be trying to walk awkwardly in with his paws.

Only wears his light weight clothing as opposed to armour, he never wears armour, be it considered light armour or heavy armour, one time that he tried it, he disliked the restricted movement greatly, he values his kin's natural capabilities highly, and has no intention to negatively impact his mobility with heavy armours.

Feral Form:

crimsonwolf.png

He is basically a Black Wolf, but due to the odd, crimson colored fur on him, he calls himself Crimson Wolf.

Other than not wearing any of the clothes he does in his humanoid form, just having a couple of patches of crimson colored fur instead of markings, and his actual shape being the same as that of any Wolf, he maintains the same overall appearance otherwise, black fur all over everywhere other than the two areas, being across the left side of the face, now covering the front of the ear as well, and at the end of the tail, that have red fur.

But as a result of the shape change differences, his height and weight are altered, and become more like that of a regular, quadruped Wolf's. Height: 3'0. Weight: 140 pounds.

When shifting to this shape, it may seem odd going from having strange, inexplicable markings, to the area just becoming all crimson colored fur across the one side of the face, with no pattern to it, or on his tail, but the markings only appear in his true form, his human shape, of which he was born into.

Weapon: His own sharp claws and fangs. Always having very much wolf-like paws for hands, he could not wield anything well, only possibly being able to by securing it within his muzzle.

Even then, by holding something like so, it would be rendered pretty much useless seeing as swinging a blade would be awkward, and shooting with a gun would seem impossible, in general any weapons of which he was not born with would seem most inefficient for him.

Materia: Ice, Earth, Time, Seal, HP Up, SPD Up.

Limit Break: Choker Stab (feel free to suggest better name). Quickly rush at an enemy, thrusting claws into it's throat, then launching the target away and to the ground with good force.

Personality: Crimson Wolf generally has a cool, laid back personality, and is very tame and approachable. There are two sensitive subjects for him though; his past, and any serious reasoning to fear for his sister's life, he is very protective of her, since he learned of her existence then met her.

He would from time to time get scolded by the others in the Wolf pack (details in History), but he would just apologize then move on from it.

When he is alone and bored, he may sometimes play with his tail when he is not very tired and suddenly in a playful mood (only in Feral Form), while other times he will look up at the stars and the moon in the sky at night.

If alone, bored, and tired, he will simply go to sleep. Strangely, when in his humanoid form, he prefers to sleep lying face down. This is most likely just to avoid laying on his tail, since every once in a while, when he is sitting down somewhere late at night, he sometimes nods off, shortly after falling back and landing on his tail, which would cause it to sting a bit for a while.

As for his level of tolerance, if someone were to accidentally trip and spill water on him, but then apologizes, he wouldn't really let it bother him, just say something along the lines of

"It's nothing, don't worry about it. But now I'm all wet...if you'll excuse me, I have to go get dried off."

Even though his fur is of dark colors, and he wears dark colored clothing, he isn't the least bit sinister, and is strongly against the killing of the innocent, and despises criminals, but even them he will not always just attack mercilessly, but bring them to justice rather than to their graves.

As for someone killing another in self defence, the other brought it upon them self when they went looking to pick trouble, just a matter of time before they pick on the wrong person and get what they have coming to them. Sounds cruel, but such is life.

Though he tries to be unnoticed doing this, if he knows there will a tough fight just ahead of him or a series of fights, he will go aside and think back on the more harsh experiences from his past to intentionally shed tears, he will be able to fight better after getting this out of his system, an odd but indeed a useful, not meaningless course of action to take as a battle preparation from time to time.

If someone sees him doing this, they may not understand how doing this gives him strength. But one would have to see his face to tell he is being emotional, as he always has his eyes closed during this, and is silent, so someone would have to see at least a tear trickle down his furry face to be able to tell if he is doing this.

History: Shortly after Crimson Wolf was born, while the parents were off to get some food for him, in their Feral Form to move quickly and easily in their quadruped forms to kill something in the wild to bring back for him to eat, a hunter was in the area, and they were spotted and got shot down, then the hunter took their Wolf pelts.

Having never returned, Crimson Wolf began to worry for their safety, and after some days passed he became very hungry, then walked as best as he could, though still being very young, and didn't have much strength at that time, not enough to walk on two legs, though technically in his Humanoid Form, at his age it was that of an infant, though mind was already more developed.

He searched and searched for his parents, until eventually he found their bodies, a bullet hole in each, stripped of all their fur, and had began to decompose. He was terrified by this sight, he knew they were dead, and it was clear a hunter was responsible for it.

Howling out mournfully, he knew he was now alone, without any family, or any friends. After some time of this, a pack of Wolves heard this and came, and witnessed what must have happened.

They felt for him, so they took him into the pack and looked after him for years to come, seeing as he had no one left to take care of him while he is growing up.

But it wasn't very long before they all realized he was much different from them, when he grew strong enough to be able to walk on two legs, but Crimson Wolf explained what his race is as his parents explained to him when they were still alive.

They understood it, he even demonstrated his change from his Humanoid Form to his Feral Form, once he grew large enough. He would almost always be in his Feral Form so he would fit in with the pack better, but they knew his true form, and he knew it, he was just glad they accepted him still.

The Wolf pack had always lived in fear of the hunters, but Crimson Wolf often strayed close to a fairly close by village, observing the behavior of the people there, studying some human behaviors.

However, from time to time the rest of the pack would scold him for being around the humans so much, that what if a hunter spots him one of the times, and he ends up leading him right to them, that the person would kill them all.

Though frightened by the mere thought of it, he responds that he can't help it, he can't help but be interested in humans, all the things they do, say, and use, but not fond of guns at all.

When he grew up to his full size, strength and maturity, he wanted to show his appreciation for the pack taking such good care of him through the years, so he told them he was going to speak with the people in the village, and try get them to agree to stop hunting the Wolves in the forest.

I suppose History could go on further, but that suffices, does it not? Probably more than enough, I would imagine.

Name Mount: Ohri-Jin
Age: 21 (Same Age as Yuffie Kisaragi)
Place of origins: Wutai
Gender: Female

Physical Appearance: She is slim and about 1 meter 60-70 centimeters long. She has long black hair knotted with red lace. Darkbrown eyes and eyebrows. She wears black boots with purple laces. She wears a purple/pink skirt and her upper garment is ditto colour but with white sleeves added. She loves to wear her red cape as it’s a remnant of her mother that passed away in the great Wutai war.

Secondary weapon: Her custom-made Katana. She got it from her dad before he passed away by Geostigma. He also gave her the summon materia that holds the great Ohri-Jin tiger. It is over 500 years old and because of all the battles he endured and left scars, Ayumi decided to never let Ohri-Jin fight again but instead use it as a mount. Ayumi has a strong bond with her tiger. [FONT=&quot]

Personality: Strong but silent.. Really protective of Ohri-Jin her tiger. She only summons him when she really need to in order to avoid him getting hurt. When she is around Ohri-Jin she is really open and warm and often communicates with Ohri-Jin even though Ohri-Jin doesn’t understand a thing. She is cautious of strangers and always puts those that want to know her better to test by challenging him/her. Only then she might consider letting other people know her better, depending on the results. Far from shy or scared but avoids battles and troublesome challenges if possible. She only fights when there is no other option. She has never been seen smiling without Ohri-Jin around.

History: She had overcome a lot in her past. Her mother died when she was only 7 years old in the Wutai war and she lost her father by the awful Geostigma disease when she was 18 years old. Both incidents are somehow related to the Shinra incorporation. She swore to take revenge for what Shinra has done. Unfortunately Shinra is no more, but words on the streets even passes by Wutai nation and the Rukai tribe. Word is Shinra might be cooking up something, thus Ayumi decided to travel to the East and heading towards Midgar to find some clues and to know more about the threats…Ayumi will never let anyone die again by the hands of evil. Unfortunately, the only set character I have is Shadow. And I don't think a dark moogle with a scythe would fit in... plus I don't want to do him. Preset character number 2!

Name: Orion Smith (who didn't see that coming?)

Age:16 (18 if too young, 21 if STILL too young.)

Gender: Male

Physical Appearance: http://www.creativeuncut.com/gallery-04/art/fft-monk-male.jpg

Weapon: Fists, though generally wears a set of custom made gloves designed with wool as the closest material to his hands, followed by a steel gauntlet, and then leather surrounding it all. Nicknamed, "Deceiving Punch"

Materia: Hp Plus, Counter, Long Range, Deathblow, Sense, Steal

Personality: Completely and totally random. Some days he's kind; some days he's an asshole. Some days he's a group fighter; some days he fights alone. You get the point? It all depends on the decisions a higher being makes.

History: I'll get to it... eventually. Or not at all if I can get away with it.

Physical Appearance WIP... and yes his bio is intended to be slightly humorous. I find it easier to write humorous bios for my chars.

Aw shoot, I never even thought of that... Would I be able to list HP Up as one of Crimson Wolf's Materias, then be able to withstand more damage? He has excellent stamina, so if this could have any impact, I wasn't aware it could work like that, so yeah, what about that? :hmmm:

And if I can't have it, Shadow shouldn't be having any of it either (sorry, not meaning to be hurtful), that would be absolute favoritism, and my bio was way longer and more detailed... <.<

lol, I just figured since a monk wouldn't use magic, and that's pretty much all materia cept physical purple, I decided HP UP would be best. Seeing as it's still materia, it should count.

If not, I'll take it off. Though if it does, then all physical materia should count, and that means I have a goal in the RP.

Ya, for monks, generally speaking in FF all they are good for is HP and Strength, pretty much all their other stats are mediocre at best so SS giving his character a huge HP/stamina advantage in battle is completely normal for his class, like if I was a mage i'd want an MP/MAG focus :hmmm:

Well my character normally only attacks at close range, using claws or his teeth, so that is monk-ish, he should have very good health and strength, even if I have to give up even having an Ice spell for it, he never used magic before anyways, but would definitely survive.

Tbh though, aren't wolves more speed and agility based creatures? They only display real strength when hunting in a pack, not on their own. That's more the forte of animals such as Leopards and Lions, as far as the animal kingdom is concerned :hmmm:

So really, wouldn't you favour more of a thief (though somewhat more honourable about it, I imagine, unless you stick to purely the class?) so you'd have SPD up materia etc? :hmmm:

Like I said before, I don't mind either way. Having them will only allow me to take more hits, and not having them won't bother me or my fighting style a bit. BTW, do we get limit breaks? Cuz, that would, you know, be epic to use on a boss or something.

Okay, well how many materias are each of us permitted to have up to? That Ohri-Jin member sure is going for a lot, then I could easily have HP UP Materia, SPD UP Materia, and possibly still Ice materia.

And I never mentioned anything about any kind of STR UP thing or anything, but you know that is where Crimson Wolf is unique, he is strong enough (also very fast) to last not only within a group but fare rather well even if on his own at the moment and engaging in combat.

Nonsense the guy has to have some kind of weakness that the other party members can facilitate, a balance is what we are trying to achieve here, HP materias should be acquired later in the adventure.

Name: Ecthelion, Theo,

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Physical Appearance: Shoulder length Flowing Black hair and Piercing stare of Grey eyes
Ecthelion portrays a man in the prime of his life He wears Silver Armor a semblance of his former role with in Shinra.
Turgon1.jpg

Weapon: Ecthelion Wields 2 Handed Broadsword, of varying designs and holding upto as many as 6 materia in linked slots.

Materia: Sense mastered, Counter attack 3 Stars, LongRange mastered, Barrier materia 1 star, Gravity 1 Star, Cure Materia.

Personality: Forthright and bound by a strict code of Honor, Fellowship is of of great value to Theo. social interactions are those of a normal guy, one who is driven to make things better.

History: Growing up in one of Shinras Economical Development Projects on the top plate in Midgar, Theo was one of the privileged few in the world, his farther had set up for him a career as an Energy development Technician, but misfortune struck the family when his farther was killed at work and Shinra refused to compensate the family.

Theo took the job his farther had left for him and for 5 years he studied the inner workings of Shinra Inc., seeking to bring them down from with in he was captured and placed in prison.

Using the commotion caused by Cloud&Co's incursion into Midgar he was freed and spent some time in hiding, now feeling the emergence of a new threat he seeks out thos who choose to fight it.

Anyone have any suggestions/problems with this? all criticism is received unabashedly:lew:

I agree. I think there should be some materia, weapons etc... that should be obtained as the story develops. Also, think of how you start in the actual game of FFVII. Weapons/Armour with a couple of materia slots and decent materia.

Having loads of HP plus materia from the beginning is crazy :gasp: I'll add a couple of rules to the OP which are specific to materia. Hopefully people will agree with them, but more importantly everyone will be on a similar playing field. Please remember, this is not me saying that you will be weaker than everyone/everything. It's obviously down to you in your own posts how much damage you take and how strong you are. I'll soon pull you up on it if I think you're getting carried away ;)

Right then so far Bio's are good - just a couple of things though:

Ohri: Like the bio, could you just cut the materia down to 6 please?

Silver Shadow: Could you cut down on the HP plus materia please buddy? XD

GalaxyFlare's bio is a good example to use for how you should display your materia, because:

-There's no extremely powerful materia,
-The materia that is levelled up is not going to make a huge difference in the characters performance,
-Damaging magic is at early stages of development and realistic i.e Ice and gravity
-6 slots have been filled, good amount.

Hope that's OK with everyone!

Okay, you just said Shadow shouldn't have loads of HP Plus materia, so does that mean it is alright to have one of them?

And you gave a limit of up to 6 Materia, so could I have Ice, Earth, Seal, Time, HP Up, and SPD Up? That's 6. If it is okay, let me know and I'll edit it into my bio.

Yup, 1 is fine. I added that to the rules shortly after I made the post.
The 6 you've gone for are fine :)

I would be interested in playing as Rufus Shinra, assuming peopel are taking AC as meaning he IS alive.

If so I'd probably play him sort of neutral and then make a more definite decision as to which side he will join after seeing more of the plot, especially after the farce he got himself into with sephiroth and the weapons :D

Hopefully this would be acceptable, and if you like I can also stick up a rough bio just to outline the materia and such he would have.

I really like the idea of someone being Rufus. Great idea!

I'll sign you up mate ;)

I think I might take Cloud and make an original villain and possibly a good guy :hmmm:

If we are counting AC, I assume Cloud will be a tad more optimistic than he is in FF7/AC? :wacky:
