Iiiiis Vincent available in this RP? If so I'd be interested in claiming him. And on another note, would you require a bio for the canons, just so I can throw something together in the next few days if Vincent is available? If not Vincent... Yuffie? Or Aerith if you're including her... despite the handicap of being dead.

I was tempted to go to Seventh Heaven, but it's crowded.... I have a plan B to get me involved somewhat with you guys.

Which is pretty much Orion being polite and waiting for him to dry by standing just outside underneath the awning.

But yeah, I'm waiting until Damon posts sometime hopefully before too late tomorrow before posting again, he needs to get a couple of things moving along, that whole Shin-Ra/Turks thing has me thrown now. :jtc:

You said it was good, right Farro? The character's bio? So surely you would want it to have some part in this, wouldn't you? Things are gonna change. Things are gonna DEVELOP.

Apologies, I got a little lax on the posting of bios and so Reno/Rude have been very minor with only slight mentions up until now.

Name: Reno

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Physical Appearance: Reno is of average height, and has a fairly slim build. His red hair is cut short on top, but tied into a pony tail at the back. He has a fairly gaunt face and blue eyes.

He always wears a dark blue suit jacket and trousers along with a white shirt to denote his position as one of "The Turks".


Weapon: Reno uses an 'electro-prod' a blunt metallic object which he can use his bolt materia to pass an electric current through when he hits someone.

Materia: Level 1 Bolt linked to his weapon and level 1 Time in his armour.

Personality: Reno believes his place as a member of The Turks places him above most other people. those who are selected to join are done so for a natural ability to exceed in all situation, which clearly he conformed to. He also fancies himself as a bit of a ladies man, and whenever he gets a chance he will attempt to discuss women with Rude.

History: Present during the events several years ago, his mission was to kidnap an Ancient by the name of Aeris/th and take her to Shinra HQ. This put Cloud and Co. onto his trail and they met and foguht time and time again, culminating in the railways under Midgar when Avalanche foguht their way to the Mako Cannon to stop Hojo firing it for a second time.

Since then he has served with Rude under Rufus' command, never straying far from his side, and recently has begun helping recruit and train new soldiers in a bid to rebuild the mighty power that was once Shinra. However he is ever present at his commander's orders.




Name: Rude

Age: 28

Gender: Male

Physical Appearance: A tall man with an exceptionally heavy-set build. This comes from years of training to fight with his fists, which he does so exceptionally proficiently.

Like Reno and all other members of Shinra's elite organisation, he wears a dark blue suit and white shirt to show others he is a "Turk".

Weapon: Reno fights with his fists.

Materia: Both Str + Level 1 and Fire Level 1 in his armour.

Personality: Rude is quiet. He rarely talks in public or in a crowd. He has been known to partake in discussions with Reno, even occassionally about which women the pair of them like, but other than accepting orders or whilst fighting, he is unlikely to utter a word.

History: See Reno.

I will continue to use them only sparingly, and not fight with them until they are approved/not approved.

You know, you almost make me not want to post with how freaking critical you are of other people's posts. Would you like it if we did the same thing to you? Probably not, right? Maybe think of how you would feel hearing the same comments. There's no need to be so rude to the people you're RPing with.

Your character isn't the focus of the RP, you know. We're supposed to SHARE the spotlight. So if you get ignored for a post, you'll survive, I'm sure. Bitching and complaining about being "shunned" probably isn't going to help your situation. You're honestly putting me off from this RP, and it's sad that one person is doing that... but it makes it a very unpleasant environment to post in.
 
Allow me to interject here. I am not the RP Mod but I have to say the jabs at one another are unnecessary. Eric, please, if you have an issue you want to bring up, please learn how to do it in a polite manner or bring it up with the RP leader or RP Section Mod. And Jess, I realize that the previous post is a bit disconcerting but let's not add fuel to the fire. Carry on, folks.

Anywho... Orion is here and ready to fight if deemed necessary. Feel free to ignore him, as it doesn't matter much what he does atm, as I guess my chars are in a loner mood right now.

Oh, that isn't what I meant, Byakuya Kuchiki, but okay (I know who the turks are, that was why I haven't been sure what to post for Tifa...). ^^;

And Jess, you're reacting like that from what, half of a post, the half I edited in to an old one? Isn't that a bit extreme for so little at this point...?

After reading Silver Shadow's post here, and paying attention to the details that Damon's post for Cloud did consist of (not going to get mad again, my mood is still shocked, just in general right now by the Internet as a whole, not just one thing), I believe I can make a new post for both of my characters.

I believe I just need to be more...intelligent, and plan out how I approach scenarios. But you know, Damon, there's this saying "news spreads quickly", I'm sure there are a good number of people who -know- of Cloud Strife and co. (or at least some of them, if not all)'s activities, so don't be too setback by some of what I had posted in the past of the RP. :wacky:

I do realize I need to be at least slightly more tactful though, so I shall. I just need to start thinking before I speak/act, and take more intelligent, wise courses of actions/words.

Not letting things get any more tense in here, I apologize, and sincerely hope you will not leave the RP because of this Jess, I will really do what in my power that I can to not get carried away with matters...

Edit: Hm, a post now made after Damon's clearly determines what my Tifa post should focus on, didn't notice that before making this post. :P
 
I feel I should have some input here. This whole situaion is both ridiculous and unwelcome.

Criticism of people's posts is most certainly unwelcome here; especially not in that manor in which it has been done. You've seen what it does. People now feel uncomfortable and don't want to post. Brilliant.

It's always a rule here that you remain respectful to fellow members. Keep it that way.

The main RP is going well, let's try to keep it that way please. I really hope people don't stop posting, seriously. As Warbourne said, it's all behind us now, let's carry on.
 
I really hope people don't stop posting too, it kinda is just getting started, and the RP itself so far, as you said, seems to be going well (wouldn't say swimmingly, but well enough). ^^;

So yeah, let's continue to keep this rolling along well, shall we, ladies and gentlemen? :monster: I am hopeful that I have set myself straight now, so let's not have any further ordeals about that. :P

Edit: Hm, um, Silver Shadow? I don't know the first thing about the kind of drinks a bar would have, as I have never been to one, or researched them, how do you or even someone else suggest I get around this? :hmmm:

Well i'm not exactly drinks or pub/bar savvy but just for the sake of throwing random names in there's Smirnoff, Barcardi, Guiness, Cider, Lager, Wine etc just to name a few.

If that doesn't work for you, and I've already posted, just say so, and I can edit the post. It really shouldn't matter too much though, a drink is a drink, it satisfies "thirst"...

Well, I said no to any more people - but not everyone is active (predictably) I'm going to say yes, but only to canon characters from now on. Vincent would be good actually.

If you could just post a bio, we'll get you involved ;)
 
After Rufus has gone again i'll drop a post in then I think :hmmm:

Not sure what to do with Alaric mind, unless someone ends up heading in his direction i'll probably be silently heading to Junon.
 
Name: Vincent Valentine

Age: 31 physically. 62 chronologically.

Gender: Male

Appearance: A tall man at six foot, Vincent has cropped his hair quite short in the five years following Sephiroth's defeat, finding himself a little more comfortable with shorter hair. It's somewhat spiky but still retains its neatness.

He has kept his scarlet bandanna and cape, which he doesn't quite feel comfortable without. With black undergarments and almost knee high boots, he seems a little dark in appearance, an aura his crimson eyes don't exactly help.

He wears a belt where he keeps his handgun. On one hand is a black, fingerless glove, while on the other is a silver gauntlet, looking rather clawed and vicious, though it's more for cosmetic value than as an actual weapon in battle.

Personality: Although a little less introverted than he once was thanks to his discovery of his past 2 years ago, he is still somewhat cold and distant when it comes to people outside of the people he stopped Sephiroth with. However, even with these he limits his words, preferring not to speak when nothing needs to be said.

He does, however, have a good morality, and will do what needs to be done for the greater good. It is for this reason that he has saved the Planet twice now.

He has a slightly wild, unpredictable side, but this is less visible in his human form than it is in his various Limit Break forms. He can often rush headlong into battle as the bloodlust of his various forms overcomes him, which can lead to dangerous situations.

Weapons: A handgun, loaded with several bullets. These bullets are particularly strong, but if normal bullets won't work on an enemy, Vincent's gun will work little better.

Limit Breaks:

Level 1: Galian Beast: Vincent transforms into a large purple beast with a scarlet mane running down his back. In this form, Vincent specialises in powerful fire absed attacks, and focusses on close range physical attacks to make full use of this more muscular form. He is, however, somewhat wild in this form, and will not listen to reason until his strength expires, forcing him back into human form.

Level 2: Death Gigas: Vincent transforms into a huge gigas, bone white, purple, and steel silver in colour. In this form, Vincent executes powerful electric based attacks and powerful physical combos, at the disadvantage of being significantly slower. Again, he is berserk in this form, and cannot be controlled or reasoned with.

Level 3: Hell Masker: With improved jumping abilities, a hockey mask, and a chainsaw, this is one of Vincent's most intimidating forms. He can use his chainsaw on multiple foes, and combines intoxicating magic with water based abilities. ASgain, he cannot be controlled while in this form.

Level 4: Chaos: In this form, Vincent can fly on crimson and black wings. He can materialise a sword for use in combat, as well as powerful dark and death based magic. He is a little more composed in this form, but it drains energy remarkably fast, to the extent where remaining in this form for more than two minutes is exhausting.

History: As a Turk, Vincent Valentine was sent to Nibelheim to oversee the Jenova Project under Hojo and Lucrecia Crescent. Upon Lucrecia becoming pregnant, and Hojo intending to use she and her unborn baby as test subjects, Vincent objected, finding the use of human test subjects to be a despicable act.

As Lucrecia became sicker and sicker under the experiments, Vincent confronted Hojo, resulting in a heated argument that resulted in Hojo's betrayal; the Professor pulling out a gun and shooting Vincent in the chest, before placing him in a kind of cryogenic sleep and experimenting with his practically dead body, making him able to transform and grow stronger.

Unfortunately, these experiments did not revive him, and it was not until the sick and weakening Lucrecia placed Chaos infested Mako and the Protomateria inside his body that he was truly able to revive, and yet he found his new forms disgusting, and, believing himself responsible for Lucrecia's eternal pain thanks to the Jenova Cells, slept in a coffin for 23 years, in a desperate attempt at "atonement."

Finding himself awoken by Cloud and company, he was persuaded to travel with them, and slowly opened up, eventually meeting up with Lucrecia again, who had frozen herself in a crystal pillar since she could never truly die, thanks to the Jenova Cells still thriving within her body.

This awoke Chaos, his final ability, and he went on to help kill Sephiroth, the monstrosity whose creation he had been unable to prevent, and later helped during the battle against Bahamut SIN, showing how much he had warmed during the weeks he had spent with Cloud and company.

It was finally during the Omega Crisis that Vincent Valentine became truly necessary. He battled and defeated the generals of Deepground, Shelke the Transparent, Azul the Cerulean, Rosso the Crimson, Nero the Sable, and finally Weiss, the Immaculate, who was actually being possessed by Hojo. As Hojo's consciousness was forced out via Weiss, and he fused with Nero, Vincent gained control of Chaos without the Protomateria, which Rosso had stolen from him earlier, and destroyed Omega, the form Weiss and Nero ahd taken, finally returning to a time of peace.

Following this defeat, Vincent lived a more relaxed life, trying to become a little more social, though there's still a lot for him to learn. He's never had to draw his gun since. Though that's all about to change.

Don't worry about it buddy, I think most people have been in the same boat; myself included!

It's been rather quiet actually, which is a shame. I'm now off to post though :gasp:
 
Hm, so that, and I quote Yuffie; "royal pain in the ass, like always" made off on his shiny motorbike once again, I haven't had a clue what to post... I mean, how could Tifa chase a motorbike? Or should she even?

Didn't see a whole heck of a lot of this happening in the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, so it is kind of unfair to expect me to know what to do. :mokken: In the future I am not doing canon characters...
 
If we all only did things that were done in the Compilation... we'd be putting the Compilation in novel form, and that wouldn't be any fun. :wacky: It's RP. Make something up. Have fun. Think about what Tifa and Crimson Wolf would try to do as characters and just... do it. That's the joy of RP.

That being said, I'll have my own post up shortly. As in tomorrow. Exhausted right now.
