: Henrietta's choice of weapon is an elegant longsword by the name of Duravel. This European longsword, standing 120cm tall, is the colour of the sun, shining white near the tip before fading into a fiery orange as it nears the cross guard. The hilt also, with orange, has hues of purple added in its design. Intricate symbols and etchings become more visible as the colour darkens down the blade. Its sheath is equally intricate and detail and decorated, follows the swords colour scheme with jewels and symbols. Duravel hangs on her left hip in a normal manner.

Duravel has the ability of explosion. It can be said that the blade is almost like metal gunpowder and that any spark of sufficient impact (anything stronger than a normal strike) would create a spark that will explode. Upon impact, it can creates a small explosion that shoots downward from the swing, towards the opponent and away from the wielder. However, like gunpowder, it has the same disadvantage that can nullify its ability.


Occupying her back right hip are a pair of whip swords which are in a crossed style with both hilts pointing out towards the side. When connected, they are 75 cm in length. However, when in whip form, they can reach up to 2 meters in length, with the sword pieces separated all along the length. The hilt is mainly red with gold decorations at the hilt guard and near the base of the hilt. A green jewel is studded in the middle of the T of the hilt, appearing on both sides of the sword. Along the actual blade is a black strip that runs through the middle with golden inscriptions along it. When the green jewel is depressed, the retraction device on the sword is released and allows the sword to separate as a whip. When the sphere is released, like a coil, the pieces reassemble back into a sword.

Lastly, she has a halberd that is 2 meters in length used both mounted and unmounted. It has a finely made head with it being 50 centimeters in length with a 20 centimeter curved blade. It is named Cuchulainn.

Starting
Ability: Swirling Gust: A circulation of wind around the sword that distorts the refraction of light, making it seem invisible.This makes it hard for the opponent to gauge and parry her attacks since they cannot discern the length, width and actual position of the blade by actual sight. The pressurized air can be shot out offensively in a for of intensive gust that can cut through things caught in it. If kept on the sword, it will increase its swinging speed and its cutting powers.

Piercing Point: By gathering a swirling wind at her forearm, she can launch the wind into piercing ranged strike. The strike resembles a thin drilling action where the winds rotates at amazing speed. It is through a thrusting motion that allows it to be shot out.

Physical Description: Henrietta stands at 170cm, rather average for a female. Her hair is long and flowing, reaching down to her hips at the back in a low ponytail. In the front, her fringe sweeps to the left, where most of it is hung behind the ears, reaching the jaw line. Her fringe, however, still cuts across her left eye. The colour of her hair is a nice ivory blonde colour. Her eyes are large and innocent looking with it being a warm golden colour. In general, when seen outside her armour and in a ladies dress, she seems more like a princess than a knight.

Her natural frame is small. From vigorous training, her body is strong and resilliant, but retained the feminine look. Despite having a smaller frame, Henrietta was blessed with natural strength. Taking even further advantage of her size, she dedicates most of her time on speed. As a result, she turned out much faster and stronger than her fellow comrades.


Her armour appears as this, including the helmet. The gauntlet on her arms and boots are made overlapping plates, so that they can use to block sword strikes and arrows. She has a cloak such as this, but is completely white with this design with this type of bordering except the white line is in her armour purple. It is a two side cloak, where the inside is inverted colour without the symbol. It can be clasped to her shoulder, mantle style, to show who and what she is or be closed around her body with the hood on to hide her identity more.

Personality: Henrietta is devoted to the crown and its family due to her past. She is willing to do anything and everything in order to ensure the survival of the lineage. A side affect of this is that she is an extremely loyal person, to her friends and her country. However, devotion aside, Henrietta is rather normal type of person with an abnormal amount of stubborness and slightly hot headed. She ususally is in a happy mood and can be carefree and relaxed (but not lazy) at times, but when things are needed to be done, she gets it done.

History: Henrietta had lived on the border of Crystair, her family owning a large plot of land and being a minor lord. Their family had been loyal and devoted to the royal family when their first ancestors were saved by the King's forces. Ever since then, most of the males enlisted into the military with the loyalty hammered into them. The females were the same, but served to assist in raising the boys to serve for the empire.

When Henrietta was four, many of the elegible males left for the capital to enlist, leaving the farmers, the old men and the females. No brigands were smart enough to attack the Genevive Farmlands, as it was reputed to produce the finest soldiers to serve the empire. However, one suicidal band attacked at the right time when they were at its weakest. THe men poured into the farmlands, pillaging, looting and killing. The men made a futile struggle, holing up in the main manor of the lord. When all seemed lost, Soldiers from the army arrived, saving the family. The imminent death and miraculous save burned into her mind. From then on, Henrietta devoted herself to become strong and, abandoning all else, went off to join the army.

Through years of training, Henrietta's devotion and stubborness ensured she soared through the training regiment and, like all of her blood relatives, became one fo the finest soldiers of the army, the Royal Guards. When the attack came, Henrietta was away from the castle. Her squad double timed it back to the castle in order to defend it. On the way in, she caught sight of the Prince, the commander and the Assassin. As the trio charged into the throne room, Henrietta stayed out to cover the exit. It wasn't long before the three came back out. Their retreat signalled to her that the king and queen is dead. Instead of staying behind and surrendering, Henrietta followed the Prince in order to ensure his escape.

: Miasmatic Slayer {Longbow} - A longbow that was made especially for drastic battle. The bow is 6 feet long while the arrows used with it are 3 and a half feet long. During its creation, the metal was infused with toxins extracted from many poisonous creatures known to roam on the planet, giving it's arrows a dreadful effect when penetrated though any kind of carapace. When used correctly, the distance an arrow can cover can range from 300-500 meters, and Demitra can usually shoot 8 arrows under a minute before having to recover stamina (carrying at least 30 arrows with her when in battle).

[Starting Ability]: Emasculation - An energy consuming attack that she can conduct up close by herself or have an invisible spirit do it for her when distance between her target is needed. Magic used normally to get in contact with the dead is instead used on a person's life, gradually draining it away from them and into her own stream. She can execute this move slowly enough so her target won't notice until the long-run (say if she's talking with someone and her hand is on their shoulder, for example.), or she can take a good amount of energy within a few seconds time - possibly leaving her target in bad condition. The same applies to how the spirit of choice can initiate this move, as the energy that is taken is transferred from the victim, to the spirit extracting it, to the bond that it is in connection with Demitra. So far, this ability hasn't been used to the point of killing anyone, but she strives to practice so that she does have the capability of doing so.

[Physical Description]: Demitra stands at a height of 5"10, being a little bit taller than most women her age, and having a slim and curvaceous figure - weighing 128 lbs. Her hair is dark red and is grown out very long, reaching her waist line, and there are several curls and waves put into it. Her eyes are sharp dark forest green color with a barely noticeable pale yellow tint around the pupils. Her skin was originally a very light brown shade, but had just became a lighter tan color as to how little time she spent outside in the sun for the past several years. Several different parts of sigils and rune designs are tattooed with a sharp golden ink on different parts of her body (the whole left side of her back, on top of her left foot trailing up around her ankle, and banded around her upper right arm) that appear to illuminate when light hits them. Not even she is aware if they have some sort of hidden abilities branded into the designs on her skin.

Her main attire consists of a black moderately tight back-laced corset with the edges of the front slightly frilled out. Her pants are also black and have a dark lace ribbon pattern along the outer calf area, and for shoes she wears 5 inch heel boots that reach up to her knees - but the length is hidden by her pants. Covering the upper part of her left arm is a series of golden armbands, four in counting and each one having a different form, size, and origin that they were made; they have the slight capability of reflecting off magic attacks, but it’s a rare concurrence and acts rather as arm braces that increase magic resistance. She wears a black ribbon around her neck as a choker, small gold hoops as earrings, and an emerald gem stoned ring on her thumb. This is an especially good outfit to wear during the dark as it can act as a camouflage so she won't be seen by whoever she is pursuing.

[Personality]: Demitra has had a past reputation of being very snobbish and easily offended as a teenager. Presently, she is considered a sadist - having a very sarcastic attitude towards people she isn't content with and having an unusual thirst of delivering pain in any form to those who push the wrong side of her. Close friends of hers and other people have often said that her personality is much different than that of the rest of her family, and have questioned her as to why she acts the way she does; her usual response is silence or something unrelated seeing as it was none of their business. She isn't shy, in fact, she usually considered the talkative type, seeing as there's always something on her mind, she's not afraid to bring it up into discussion if she wants to. How she thought of people and what she thought about them became more obvious as the years passed on. Feeling that she can "study" people by their body language, it is also rare to find her intimidated by anyone just by looking at their physical appearance.

With people she does enjoy talking to, she show's a fair amount of generosity to. However, she is definitely considered a free thinker and won't be afraid of saying whatever she feels about a person, whether they're her close friend or not, whether she upsets them or not. She believes that people won't know your true thoughts about someone or something if you just beat around the bush, which is why it is also rare for her to tell a lie. She can show an apathetic attitude towards those that she works with if she has no problem with them, but it doesn't guarantee that she will like them. With the past events that have occurred in her life, she had become a misanthrope - seeming to see the negatives about human beings more than the positives, and that's part of the reason she acts uncontentious with most people.

Not exactly taking too kindly to some of the emotions that humans are prone to, one particular feeling that she ironically wouldn't have a say about is love. All her life, she hasn't had a real relationship or felt feelings towards a person, so when she tries to decide whether if it's a joyous feeling or if it's a waste of time, she wouldn't be able to say either or - due to the fact that she's had no experience yet. Relationships are typically the last thing on her mind, and she doesn't find it necessary to try and rush into one - one particular reason being that she's anything but naive, and has a hard time putting trust in anyone she barely knows.

[History] -

Being born in the city of Sonria as the twin of her sister Estrella who hadn't specialized in magic until she was in her mid-teens, she considered herself to be the reject of the family with all of the attention that Estrella had gotten from the rumors that were spreading all around the region, and Demitra wasn’t very content with that. She had still loved Estrella as her sister, but they had very often had disagreements with each other, whether if it was about roles in the family or who needed the most attention in the home – so Demitra was often seen as spoiled. In school, she had just as much difficulty with dealing with students that often said that she was unlucky to have a sister that was ‘cursed’ and other times accused her of having the same ailment (even though she didn’t), and every so often physical altercation would take place.

Her father, Valerius, has often warned her that her control of the magics she specialized in can easily alter her personality, and that she should try and limit her use of it; as he could already see jealousy developing within her. She thought it was unusual that she was the favorite niece to her uncle Ora, but that was only because she didn’t know of his real intentions. Ora, however, had plans to keep Demitra safe from what event he had planned, and saw to it that she would get just as much care as Estrella did. When the city's monastery was being burned down, Demitra had nearly died from how much she had gotten hit by magic from the opposing forces that brought the turmoil to the central park, but Ora had found her before the flames could and teleported her and himself out of the predicament, without a hint given on where they could be presently.

When Demitra had woken up, Ora had taken a custody of her so that she would officially no longer be a part of the Briller family, but of his own as a Roseveldt after he had told her that there were no surviving members of the family anyway (leaving out the part that he was the one that ended their lives). One of the tasks that she was given by him was to join the Tyrant forces of Umbra to help him with his tasks of "ridding the planet of those that don't deserve to live", saying that he can't do his task on his own at this point. For three years, he had trained her, both physically and in magic, so that she would be fit to become part of the forces of Umbra. He had taught her the ways of necromancy since she was specialized in magics in the subjects of death, darkness, and the like. By the time she turned 21, she had made contact or use of the spirits of many past friends and relatives of the Briller family, including her mother.

One person that she had a hard time making contact though was Estrella, and she had come to the conclusion that she wasn't yet dead - but she didn't tell Ora this. Instead, she had went on with the task that she was given by him in hopes of finding her AWOL twin during the journey - wanting her to die by her sister's hands, and she would not hesitate to eliminate anyone that prevented her from completing her goal. If she couldn't find her within the surroundings of Umbra, she would patiently wait until her business was done there to continue her search; for she was one that believed that she had all the time in the world to complete her ambitions. In the meantime, she would reside in Umbra as a Tyrant Loyalist, with another task that would wreck havoc in Crystair.

Hm... My character is rather different, so I'm having difficulty fitting him into this smoothly in the History Section of the bio, and I read all of that story thing in the first post... :hmmm:

Any pointers? I'll of course make it up basically, but something to start off of would go a long ways, but until then I'll continue to try think of something. With the Daylight Savings beginning, it is 4:20 AM here now, really need to go to bed now, so I shall. :P Just wanted to ask about this...
 
hey terry are you going to join my D&D rp? also alyss... they may work together eventually but its likely i will fight her as a sole enemy if i join the other team... i am a sellsword as well as a spellsword

let's not disrespect other rp's by trying to get people who are signed up to said rp to join other RP's. This thread isn't to discuss joining other RP's, it's about Perpetual Twilight. Not to sound rude but I found that mildly offensive. I wouldn't walk into your sign-up thread and ask people to join this RP.

Hell, my character's a DRUNKEN BUM wandering across the world who happens to has elemental powers. You realize how much he doesn't fit in?

I'm actually a little surprised he's allowed to stay.

[Weapon] Lucendias, Sword of Light. A long sword, imbibed with the magic of light. As well as being perfectly weighted allowing it's welider to fight for much longer than usual with a sword of this type, each blow with this sword glows with a cleansing and purifying light.

This weapon is more dangerous to a being aligned to darkness than to any being of any other element because of this.

[Element] Light[Starting Ability] Purifying light. The Commander
holds with hand up to the sky. A pulse of light radiates from his body, lighting the darkness for several metres in every direction. For a few moments most beings aligned to the darkness however strong ones are able to continue to fight mostly unaffected, if perhaps a little disturbed.

[Physical Description] Standing 6 feet and 3 inches in height, Aervyn is slightly above average. He is also built like a true warrior, with enormous musculature and immense strength, the kind that can only be found through endless drillling, and training oneself for the job at hand.


He has chiseled features, creating both a striking and handsome face. However, this has been marred by a single scar picked up in battle over the years. Steel grey eyes set into his face show nothing to his enemies, yet everything necessary to those he loves and cares for.

He wears an ornate set of steel and gold designed armour. The royal crest splayed resplendent acrss his chest shows both his rank and alliegance to the throne. The suit of armour is comprised of a full body covering suit of gleaming steel, with gold edging, and small images of the royal crest in the more obvious of places, such as the backs of his hands, and shoulder guards. A helmet designed in the same manner would normally sit upon his head, with a straight slit directly across his eyeline allowing him to see the enemy, whilst keeping him well protected.

[Personality] Brave and inquisitive as a child, Aervyn rescued a young girl from the borders of Crystair, despite the fact that he found her covered in blood and holding a dagger. He followed a strict regime of training with the royal guard, showing his true mentaility as a real fighter, and one who could stick to anything when he wanted it.

A kind man most of the time, when battling, especially for his kingdom he becomes almost a different person entirely. He battle battle fiercely to the last to defend what he knows he must protect. Despite this, he is able to keep a cool head in these situations when needed. His orders and authoritative aura were enough to force both the prince and his bodyguard to leave the castle of Crystair in it's darkest hour even when it seemed the world was falling apart around them.


[History]
At a young age, Aervyn saved a young girl from the woods around Crystair. She had been found covered with blood, and holding a knife. Knowing that this situation could not be good, Aervyn took her home to his parents nevertheless. Without question they adopted her, and for four years they grew up together, the girl never saying a single word.

Just when the family were beginning to fear that the girl's traumatic past had perhaps rendered her dumb, she shocked them all by speaking the name of the one who had saved her, Aervyn himself. For the next few years, she would speak to no-one but him, even following him when he went to train with the rest of the royal guard.

During his time in training, Aervyn quickly became friends with the prince of Crystair, who was several years his junior. This continued for some time, and after a while, Aervyn began to wonder if the girl was now following him to watch his training, or perhaps to see the younger prince. It was around this time that the girl sprouted wings, revealing her to, in fact, be one of the winged ones.

Also around this time, the Dark Kingdom of Umbra made a viscous attack against Crystair. Aervyn was at the heart of the battle, and his skills and orders showed him to be one of the greatest warrios ever to rise witihn the royal guard. Shortly afterwards, he was promoted to the rank of Commander, the leader of the Royal Guard of Crystair.

The Prince had finally been introduced to the girl who had been Aervyn's adopted sister for the last eight years, and the three of them grew close over the next six years.

It was at the end of this six year period, that umbra launched an attack more lethal than any that had come before. Hundreds of troops lay dead, and despite his best efforts, the King and Queen of Crystair lay dead on the throne. As far as he was concerned, Aervyn had failed in his duty, and it was all he could do to fight off the sodiers of Umbra long enough to allow the Prince and his new bodyguard to escape unharmed, before taking his only leave, when he realised that both the Dark General and Tyrant would arrive, and even he could not stand against the combined might of two beings so powerfully dark as them...

 
Everyone is approved. I'll go through and add you guys to the first post tonight/tomorrow cos I'm too lazy to do it right now. My character bios won't be posted just yet because there's certain parts of both of them that I want to keep secret for the time being.

To start the RP, I'll be posting the History. The first RP of the actual RP will be from Justin (the Tyrant). I want him to begin it in what I know will be a fantastic opening.

As soon as I know he's around, I'll start the thread. I'd appreciate it of no one would post until his initial post is up, once I do, thank you!
 
Ooh, awesome. I usually wait until another member or two post first anyways, to get a feel for it just a little better, seeing some other RPer(s) make a first post in the RP, before making my own, so no problems here. :3

But since to a degree, the first reply will roughly be fixed, probably, I would instead possibly be more likely to hold off until two or three others post, rather than one or two. Don't like going out without some backing in tact to it from some other RPers' characters... *is embarrassed*
 
Eh, I generally post later unless I'm really in the mood for a character. Which I am, but I will do as Vikki says.

The first scene will be what most of my first scenes are. Beating the shit out of drunkards. Only this time my character will be drunk too. And will have started the fight.

Erm, it makes sense when you don't think about it.
 
Since the RP started with the villains first, I'll have my post in sometime today. :mokken: I have a good idea on what I'll have Demitra do .

Yeah, great posts everyone. ^_^ Sorry it took so long for me to get a start, but I finally got my first post up. Sorry that I mostly referred to stuff already pretty well covered in the History section of my character bio, just reworking and adding some things.

But under the circumstances, for what my character is doing, it really relies for now on certain others' progression for me to write a post for, since there wasn't any interaction at all with other characters in my first post in the RP. :hmmm:
