[Sign up/Discussion] Perpetual Twilight

Finally got my own post up. ^_^ And it drained me. I shouldn't leave it til so many people have posted next time. hahha XD

Now I'm freaking hungry. :sad3:

I'm really liking how this is shaping up so far. :jess:

Sadly, I'm out of town for the moment, but I can still cook up a post if need be. I'll try to have one up sometime tonight or tomorrow morning. I would start writing one up now, but I'm le tired, and haven't been sleeping. :sad3:

It'll probably be somewhat short, but I really want to keep things afloat. With the quality of the posts, and the direction things are already heading in, I can't keep myself from posting for too long. :gasp:
 
Apologies on not posting. Spring Camp, no electronics. Period.

I also apologize for not posting till tomorrow. I am drop dead tired, but I'm pushing myself to do a few things before I go off and die in my bed.

I think I probably should have tried to get a post up a little earlier too.

But I'm going to have to go with what I've posted up here instead. :D

X3 I'm just a drunk in a bar, just waiting out the attack.

I'll probably come and go, as my character probably wouldn't fit in at this point. He'll be traveling through all the bars in the world and such like that. Eventually you guys will encounter him. Odds are he'll become a good guy in time, but till then he's just there doing whatever the hell he wants with his life.

Why? Because he's a drunken bum that doesn't really care about politics and who rules the world and all that crap.

Not until they start taking his alcohol. And if they do that.... hell on earth will be an understatement, I guarantee you.
 
Crimson, unless i read wrong, i dont see what you did as feasibly possible. My character is facing down an open corridor with nowhere to hide. Saga's character is there as well at the rear. My character STOOD there until it completely collapsed. Unless you travel at the speed of light, i highly doubt that Henrietta would miss a huge wolfman. Besides, even if Henrietta didn't wait, there wouldnt be enough time from Henrietta turning around to the settling of the rubble for the group to have even gone 5 meters. i find it hard for to believe that you could tailed the group through that without detection.
 
I could see my character, or Erza's character missing it. We just climbed into a hole. However, there is no possible way that everyone else would have missed a wolfman hauling some major ass past them. O__O

Unless they were all blind. However, seeing as they're not... :hmmm:
 
Sheesh, we're only three pages in, and fighting already?

Whatever... not my issue.

My issue is figuring out when my character should appear again.... as quite obviously he really can't do anything from a bar, and he is in no way whatsoever connected to anyone else. Maybe I didn't think it through when I made him...
 
Okay, maybe Alyss and Erza's character seeing as though they started to go into the tunnel, but i dont see my character and particularly Saga's assassin in missing it. Plus, imo, if a huge wolfman came pelting at us from the middle of nowhere during a castle raid, i'd be more than suspicious.

Just pointing out a physical impossibility. :gasp: There is literally no way that the rest of the characters involved could have missed that. Alyss and Erza's character couldn't have, as was mentioned, but everyone else there would have seen a giant wolf guy going mach 5, hauling ass towards them past a hallway that Tipsy's character just literally blew up. XD
 
I dunno. I'm not particularly bothered either way but is does seem a little weird. For now I'll crawl into the tunnel and pretend I wasn't there. :wacky:
 
Meh, true enough. I guess im just pointing out improbabilities to Crimson. Not like i was going to tell him to mod the post. Was just saying.
 
Not to be rude... but you're not involved with the RP. Therefore, your post was irrelevant, not to mention off topic. As it is, I'm not quite sure what you had a problem with in the first place.

Now, in order to get back on topic. I was more or less with Tipsy. No need to change it, just thought it odd. :gasp:

Alyss isn't the runner of this RP, Vikki (Saga) is.

And eh. At least your not actually fighting. Now.... CAN SOMEONE HELP ME GET SOME MORE ACTION?
 
...I don't recall him saying his character was the center of the RP. O_O The main six characters do influence things yeah, but the Loyalists etc do too. So yeah.

On another note, I'll get into the tunnel and wait for Vikki to post then.

Then edit past posts, or what is the alternative, I delete mine and start from else where entirely, and edit my character's bio for this accordingly?

To be honest, then, if the environment in which everyone is traveling through is so complex, more descriptiveness is a must, I can't just go assuming something that was never mentioned...

And that I mentioned at the start of this post, any idea how much trouble it would be to go through all that? And it would set me back a great, as I already had a lot on my plate to do...

Edit: And guys, stop emphasizing like my character is giant, huge, etc., he is just the size of a good sized man; six feet tall, two hundred and ten pounds (and Crimson's fur no doubt consisting of some of that weight). :|

If you want to delete the post and try to meet up elsewhere, you could have you character meet us all on the other side of the tunnel. At least, if I were in the same position and wanted to delete my post, that's why I would do. The only work it would require is a another post.

It was actually stated that we were in a castle, running down a hallway that was collapsed by Tipsy's character. Hallways typically aren't huge places, even in castles. Though, it was a simple mistake. No harm, no foul. It's all good.

And that I mentioned at the start of this post, any idea how much trouble it would be to go through all that? And it would set me back a great, as I already had a lot on my plate to do...

I'm away from my house, working on a business trip, I'm still able to get up a few posts. If I can manage to do it being how busy I am right now, I'm sure you can.

However, that's only if you want to edit/delete the post. No one is calling for it, so just go with the flow and keep going. :grin:

Though, when I make mistakes, even when they were small ones like that, I like having them pointed out so I don't do it again. =3

All in all, we're just trying to help. It really is no big deal, don't let it eat at you.
 
Hm, thanks Ringo. I don't know how I could find way around to the other side of the tunnel though, without actually going through it, or how to avoid being swarmed by part of an army of Umbran soldiers. :hmmm:

Otherwise, I would probably do as you suggest, but those too are big problems...
 
Well, if you deleted your post, you could come back with a new intro post as our characters come climbing out of the hole. The backstory could be that your character was camping there. He sees that we are all distressed, we explain what happened, and then he wants to help.

Just a short example. All in all, it's up to you. I'm sure whatever you do will be fine.
