[Sign-Up/Discussion]Requiem Call

my hotwiring question was only a suggestion and it would lead to the question... anyone here that can maintain cars? i may alter my character if this is a no and if altering the character is ok with lelouch

Honestly I dont think we need to able to maintain everything from the start. I think if we have some problems and obstacles that we need to figure out from scratch it would make the story and plot more intresting and challenging and more intwined between the different characters. I loved the person who came up with the slow weak cashier with a ripped off pole for a weapon. I think that is brilliant and hilarious at the same time. My character is a little overpowered from the start and thats why I plan on making a lot of his resources destroyed soon after the start and also a lot of his advantages within his mind. I also plan on giving his a lot of torment within his mind also crippling his performance from time to time.

By the way, are the characters immune to the virus? After all, considering the slightest skin or fluid contact will turn any non-immune people -- if I'm not wrong in saying so.

Oh? I thought it was passed through a bite and saliva... How will we avoid it i that's not how it's transmitted?

Hm... That's true! My bad.

Still, for the characters to always be able to avoid bites, scratches and all... All it takes is a small wound they have and some fluids from the other zombie, or that zombie's blood after all. As much as immunity may seem rather similar to L4D...

Not that I understand how it works in Resident Evil either, now that I think about it. I'll need to read up on that one.

Your free to alter your character some but try not to overpower them.

As for the Skin Contact/other contact that only happen's when the first zombie((the one that turned to dust)) touched or entered the body,Now Note that was a exception because he was still infected and since he turned to dust the infected cell's entered through the nose and mouth it was pretty much just for show for the beginning.

we will only be infected by Scratches,Fluid/Blood to blood contact,Fluid eye, mouth contact. as far as i can tell these are the only ways to be infected.

Thing is this will only be a problem for Human Zombie's

Animal's/Plant's will have a different strain that only infects other plant's/animal's and not human's so we can take damage from those types

just clearing this up

thanks for clearing that up, and i wont change my character because it doesnt seem that crucial that i do so looks like the hacker / geek is here to stay :D

Name: Luke Trizel

Age: 28

Gender:Male

Job: Sergent First Class E-6, also the Unit's armorer

Description: http://ts3.mm.bing.net/images/thumb.../wp-content/uploads/2009/10/KazeNoStigma1.jpg The hair is more neat and short cropped in fashion. Obviously the guy on the left.

Starter Weapon: A M16 rifle with bayonet attachment. Also has a laser dotted scope that's effective up to 500 meters.

Personality: A bit strict and rough around the edges. He will follow the orders of those above him and expects those that work under him in rank. While he prefers to do things cut and dry to the letter, he also encourages people to think outside the box. So if they can find a way to do something faster while maintaining its efficiency and safety of his soldiers he lets them do as such.

His trust is hard earned and so is his loyalty. Though being in the military makes forces him to work with others in ways he would rather not, he still has to have a sense of trust towards them to get the job done. He does not take kindly to people who cut others off in a simple means to further themselves and their own agenda. Also those that lie and cheat to get ahead he looks down in further disdain.
Aside from that he is easy going and fairly easy man to approach. He is willing to help anyone as long as they make the effort to help themselves.

Special Trait's: Weapons knowledge- Due to his training and job has extensive knowledge on a majority of firearms. If something is wrong with it he can take it apart and find whats wrong with it.

Proficiency firing- Again due to his training and constantly working around weapons, most rifles and handguns he can pick up and be deadly accurate with.

Bio: Luke had a decent life growing up. While raised in a family of four growing up and having their parents provide for them was fairly easy. Their father worked as a Captin for the Marines at the base not even twenty miles from them, and their mother served as a defensive attorney. So they were all raised with a strict sense of right and wrong.

While doing well enough for high-school he had not earned high enough to earn a scholarship. Refusing the little money his parents offered to give him Luke decided to volunteer for the service as a reservist. With the money he was earning he went to college for part time earning an engineering degree. Finding he could employ his degree to his military career Luke decided to go active.

Luke was in a convoy listening to a portable radio he brought along when the news hit. Deciding to act on his own he told his driver to stop and that he was going to assist the people here how he could. He told his superior officer when asked what he was doing that he would stay here, and that they should try to get to base as soon as possible in case the attack came their way.

I hope so.

Can't wait to get this started.

- This may be the only RP I'm excited about as of current.

Totally agree with this sentiment. The last RP I was in mysteriously died in activity after I last posted. :hmm:

So I'm really looking forward to this one. It should be exciting.

Soul is accepted and since everyone's profiles are up and running I'll begin the RP Soon and I feel the Same Sneaker but i dont think this one will end up like that since most of the members here are very active

anywho's I'll update the first post and begin crafting the RP thread please be patient ^_^

RP started.

3 people posted right away.

-

Let's hope the RP has the same consistency every day and doesn't slow down anytime soon.

-- Also, to be a helping hand,

I will provide short summaries of what happened.

ALSO, Aaron, it's A REALLY REALLY GOOD idea to break down the RP into chapters.

So that way, everyone can be on the same page and won't get lost.

That works.

But it's alot simple to do this - this works best for me. I made it up myself too :D

CHAPTER I -- 1.1 <--- That would be your post count for Chapter I.

---

So, if I made three post for Chapter I, It would like this.

--- CHAPTER I -- 1.1 (post 1)

--- CH. I -- 1.2 (post 2)

--- CH. I -- 1.3 (post 3)

And so on.
