I love it when SE puts effort into characters, the detail on the characters of FF13 is stunning and just so wow. Lighting and Vanilla are just so beautiful and Snow is so hunky lol :D

Completely random, but thank you SE for the nice eye cnady this time round. Because the graphics are so intense and amazing, they look stunning. Dont get me wrong, SE has produced so many attractive pixel characters in the past, but 13s are just so lushy ^_^
 
I have to agree, it's by far the most detailed SE title in terms of graphics, and certainly in the Final Fantasy series. I think it's mainly because of two things, in one way I think SE really want to deliver this time around but I also think it's because of other games, as much as I don't like people playing games solely for graphics, I do think they now play an important factor. The likes of Uncharted 2 and Assassins Creed II has set a really standard so I'm curious to know when FFXIII is run fully in 1080p how it'll compare :hmmm:
 
I love the chracter designs as well. The eyes have so much emotion... like when Serah was sad... I almost cried to. And this is really the first time they have the waves of the hair down pat.It looks so soft and touchable. Like a real world. Bravo, SE, Bravo.
 
Absolutely right- the characters in Final Fantasy XIII are amongst some of the exceptionally few beauties I have ever seen in video games. Even the scar-faced Yaag Rosch! That just shows how committed Square-Enix are when it comes to delivering the game for their audiences. It must have taken the team countless days and energy into creating something like Final Fantasy XIII, and I really do commend them.

Unfortunately there are many who still claim that the graphics have been dumbed down in favour of allowing the Xbox 360 to handle it. From what I've seen, I can't really agree with that. Besides it does not matter. The graphics still look astonishing. If story, gameplay and graphics are well married together- the game will be a honeymoon for everyone!

Creepy post a bit but you ARE right.XD Most of the Final Fantasy characters and graphics seem to have come a LONG way when it comes to quality.
 
I dont understand how its creepy lol. You get people constantly going on about Tifas OTT pixel breasts lol :P And lets not getting started on Frans hentai :D I believe Im pretty tame compared to some nasties Ive seen out there :-)

Well not much to see for guys =) but I guess from a female standpoint you have your options. I will enjoy the graphics mainly though overall so I'm not going to contest. Aside from what I've seen in the previews, I'm very amped up to see how well the orchestrate the enemy graphics.

Soon enough I guess..
 
Yeah, I have to admit... graphics are definitely SE's selling point. I haven't seen them in action until about a week ago when I picked up Star Ocean: TLH... This is the kind of shit I've dreamed of seeing since I was like 8 :monster:

Seriously man, the shit was kind of embarrassing to have pop up while I was looking for some normal pics on the public library's computer a few years back, i think they banned me from the library for a few years, i dont really remember :wacky:
 
The characters do look hot, Im completely in love with that woman who's name I can;t spell (Ryans username) They just out do themselves everytime, they all look amazing and the expressions too, so awesome :gonk:

I can see myself getting all fangirl over some of these characters like I did with Auron xD

I know they are picels, but sometimes you just can't help going phwoaaaar 8F
 
They are stunning! They all have a certain charm in them ^^
but I was a little disappointed about Lightning though. From the screenshots that I have seen, she kind of looks a little bit, well, plastic :/ I've seen two different versions of her, and I do prefer the old version of her :(
But Sazh Katzroy looks awesome though! :D
 
Yes I have to agree with the character designs bein fucking beautiful. Im in love with all the chicks and there designs. Oerba is just wow, Lightning is such a sick and tough lady with sick moves and sexy body *drools* Did I mention those legs? Oh im going to far now... Oerba Yun Fang is truly lovable however I see some evil in her but she does look die hard gorgeous too. Serah Farron probaly the best design in the game. Cutest girl out of any video game her hair is beautiful and that dress is just.... *drools again* Yes as you can see Im obsessed with XIII xD. Also Snow looks sick, Sazh is awesome because of chocobo in his hair and Hope is Ryan(what more awesomeness can he have)
 
I don't usually fangirl this hard over the female characters (not usually for any reason, I just usually don't, lol) but so far Jihl and Fang have really piqued my interests >:D

Lightning just seems kinda...boring tbh, but I can't make a 100% decision since I obviously haven't actually played the game :P
 
Snow reminds me of Seifer, probably because of his outfit. XD And I think that so far, my favorite looking character is Lightning. I have seen the pictures of the similarities between her and Cloud. XD I think it's cool, though.

Sorry for my basic lack of input. I haven't really done much research on it. XD

I agree with pretty much everything you said Anakin. What I think is most amazing though, is how they made Lightning look so much like Cloud, and yet still very sexy, in her own way. I knew I recognized Snow as someone else...
 
It took me quite a bit of thinking about it, and looking at pictures XD, to determine that. But yeah, that's who Snow looks like: Seifer. XD And I think that Lightning, though she looks like Cloud, from what I understand of her, seems a bit more ballsy than Cloud was in the beginning, anyway. Where Cloud was a bit apathetic, Lightning seems determined.
 
Cloud was never EVER ballsy unless Sephiroth was standing right in front of him, and even then... anyway, Snow to me just screams Seifer. But thats from KH2, are you talking about something else? And Hope kinda reminds me of Denzel... except a little on the brattier side. Maybe its because he is from a rich family and had it easy?
 
Hm. Hope does kind of look like Denzel. Didn't even realize that. XD

I was talking more of the FF VIII Seifer, only put on Loz's torso or something. xD Seeing that Seifer never had muscles like that. And I thought that Cloud got a bit ballsy in Advent Children, even before the fight with Kadaj and such. But I guess that's just how I saw it. XD

Like I said, I don't know too much about the characters. XD
 
I have to say my favourite looking character has to be Sahz, his picture in the menus (going by the scans) just makes me smile xD his outfit is quite cool too, and the chocobo just adds to that.

Lightning I like as well, aside from how she has her sword sheathed and it just hangs there O_O

At risk of perving I have to say i'm glad that the bodies are more realistic, like Snow when he has all the bandages on (nippleage at last!)

Hope does seem the angry type so I think that can sum up why Alexander is his Eidolon tbh, since Alexander is all about judgement and Hope seems like he wants to punish Snow and such (going by trailors)

Fang's outfit does look really cool too, I especially love her hair and the colour of her clothes <3 and Vanille is just over-the-top cute, like Serah <3
