That's right. The question I'm asking you guys is why are you at FFF? What is about this place that draws you back and makes you stay? The reason I question this is quite recently we have some really nasty rumors being spread about this ever-growing site, the members and it's staff. I won't name any names either, but they're terrible rumors by two people who don't like the staff. They've been saying that I ban purely on emotion which is a lie. The last ban I made was February 18th which was a troll by the name of Barnezy91 and the most recent ban before that was made February 4th and that was a Captain Obvious duplicate account by the name of Commando101. Now I can screenshot the banlogs for proof, but I don't think I should have to go that far.

These rumors are being spread that you members are saying the only reasons you stay here are for Bei Bei, that you members hate all the rest staff. There are also rumors being spread of the staff themselves beginning to hate it here such as Mitsuki and Julius are sick of me and the other staff members, all of you members are sick of me, etc...which of course I know isn't true as I speak to them daily whether it be MSN or our staff lounge.

Anyway, what I'm trying to say is, there are some members who used to be here that seem to think FFF is going downhill and they're doing everything they can to see that it goes downhill, by going as far as spreading rumors, saying things against the staff, telling lies, etc... If you are one of these members who actually believe everything you hear out of these certain people, then why do you continue to stay if you think it's so terrible? What's your reasoning behind staying on the site if you believe every single word that comes out of their mouths (figuratively speaking) about this place? I'd really like to know, because the things you hear about the staff, about the way the place is ran, etc...Isn't true and we'd like to stomp out these rumors best we can. So, if you are one of the members here who want to keep the site going strong, then tell us here if what you've heard, you don't have to name names, and why you continue to stay here, please.
 
You know yourself that those two wrote those emails with their used toilet paper and likely continued to frolick in a pile of it afterwards. Don't feel that you need to justify yourself because two cunts have made some ridiculously inaccurate comparisons.
 
How could FFF ever be any worse then when Josh was in charge? That is simply impossible.

As far as I can see FFF is doing fine its one of the better forums because it is not drenched in drama like other forums are.

I am here because I enjoy talking with friends and making new friends while talking about things we all share a passion for.

So yeah those rumors are BS, FFF is excellent especially when compared to other forums so don't pay any attention to any drama whoring fools.
 
I dont have an opinion on the staff cause i really dun care i just like the activeness of this site and people making threads that I have interest in.

I really don't know why I keep coming back. For the banter mainly, because there's a few people here who are on no other forums that I go to. So basically to keep up with some mates.

I'm here mostly because I don't have much to occupy myself with. There's nice people here (staff included), so it's no hardship sticking around.

As for rumors, I haven't heard any. Didn't know any were floating around until this thread came about.

I don't know how some petty rumors that carry no weight are a cause for concern, but whatever.

Rumors are just rumors sis, you should let your mind be troubled by such trivial comments made with the sole purpose to disrupt the stability of the community itself. Those who hold some ill intentions against you are not even worth your peace, do not let it trouble you. Besides, this is Internet, here people are able to truly be what they really are, deep inside their feelings. Some are asshole to other people because they know they would probably never meet them in person. Of course, there are others who take Internet seriously and behave exactly as they do in real.

If these were the times of the Holy Crusade I would much enjoy beheading a few people :devil2:. Again, people who don't really know what is really happening in the STAFF HQ (staff HQ for STAFF) should spread rumors like those because they don't have the minimum knowledge to even have to comment about anything that happens in the Staff HQ. Also, to Ex-Moderators, revealing information from the Staff Lounge is strictly forbidden, and it still applies even after demotion. Also, people should realize that every action has an equal reaction. Cause and effect. Remember people, that everything you do will have an effect that might affect others, and sometimes it can backfire to you. I am not saying that anyone is doing it, but I'll say it just as a reminder. :neomon:

Again, jealousy is among the sickest and vilest feeling that could ever sprout from the hearts of humankind. Comments guided by selfishness and jealousy are not to be taken in consideration, due to the fact that they lack neutral reason, and are made with the sole intention to cause harm. To all of those who insist on spreading rumors, why are you doing this? Don't you have something else better to do besides wasting your time with such idiotic actions? To those who do it, come on people, grow the fuck up and get a damn life besides staying at home, sitting in front of the computer and typing foolish comments to ruin other people's lives. People need to learn that we work in staff because we care for this community, and being a staff member is not easy, and it is much worse being an administrator. We are dealing with real people here, with real lives and their own opinions, and problems are always meant to happen due to our human imperfection.


Don't worry about all of this sis, you know your friends are always here for you. You can count on us.
 
I don't admit to know BeiBei all that well, and if I stayed here, it wouldn't be for her. I am here because I would like to see this place be much better than it used to be when Darkblade owned this forum. Furthermore, I have lots of people I know here, as well as the interesting debate discussions and the art contest (whatever happened to that) that I stay here for that. I also enjoy discussing on the shoutbox and have met a few people through it.

I have no reason to be backstabbing you for any of this, and if anything, I am no gossip queen/king. Those who are spreading rumors about you should be ashamed because I don't think there's anything wrong with the job you're doing. If they have a problem with it, they should stop being cowards and confront you personally about it. Since I can see no other motive for why these people want to screw you over, other than the fact that they might be jealous of your popularity and general goodness, it might just be because they didn't understand enough of the past events that lead to Darkblade being removed from FFF, and supported him for no real reason at all--at least not a logical one. I can see no real reason for why anyone should support Darkblade. And trying to frame, spread rumors or otherwise mess with an administrator already on very good terms with many members and very widely supported and popular must be the stupidest thing one could do--unless they were absolutely certain they could succeed, which is sometimes equated with stupidity.
 
I don't think anyone is 'ruining lives' with their comments, they're just trying to express how they feel about the management. Simply plausible, but I think it would be more appropriate for those responsible to be upfront about it instead of being childish and spreading rumors. Especially rumors that are based on opinion.

I keep coming back because I enjoy the community. Of course, there are a handful of people that get on my last nerve, so I simply avoid them. That's the responsible thing to do instead of trying to defame them. I think the issue here is not in the administration, but everyone as a whole lacking the required maturity to handle their problems appropriately.

That's just what I think.
 
I somehow get the feeling that Julius' comments were aimed at me, though maybe I'm just looking to get more involved, haha.

Already, though, the overall opinion is that those involved in pissing you off are blowing things out of proportion.

Plausible? If being an asshole is plausible then this whole world should burn in the hell of our own making. I've always said that if a person doesn't have the guts to stand firm and say what they believe without hiding, then that person should shut up. Opinions without facts and proof to back them up are as useless as not saying anything at all. No wonder why humankind is going down to drain. All this senseless fighting, all the cruelty and hatred serve for only one purpose; to keep the endless spiral of grudge and death continuing endlessly. I admit, the world would be quite boring without these things, but heck, I've been infected by the same virus that affects us all.
 
See, what you said is exactly the same thing that happened when we tried to defend our stance against Darkblade some odd months ago. The only reason there ever was any drama was because of the people who had no evidence for supporting Darkblade and saying the things they did. They were completely clueless and talked about stuff they didn't know about.

PEOPLE.

That is all. I mainly only stuck around in the beginning because the community was a lot nicer than the first two I'd been to, but then I eventuallly made friends and shit, and stuck around for that.

Now I'm a Moderator, plenty reason enough itself for me to be sticking around. I enjoy the sections I mod, and the people I communicate with, as well as the activities I take part in within the forums.
 
*shrugs* I don't know most of the staff here well, but I haven't seen them do anything too appalling. They're definitely heaps better than the staff from the last forum I was on, and it shows on the forums. It's a good forum, it's active and I like most of the people here.. There's really no one here I just can't stand. Most of the people who don't fall into the "like" category I just don't know very well at all. Out of the forums I've been to, this is probably one of the best.
 
I like this community. To find a place where other people enjoy the Final Fantasy series as much as I do, or even more, makes me really happy 'cause I can talk about certain events or an inside joke, and people here get it!

But not just the FF discussions, the people who I have already met after only being here for just over a month are really cool and I have so much fun talking with people here.

I'm not very familiar with most of the staff here on FFF, so I don't know anything about rumors going on about people disliking other people, but I'm here 'cause I want to be here, and because the people here give me a reason to come back.

Ah, that's what I was trying to say. I just didn't word it correctly. :P

Basically, I'm all for letting people share their opinions as long as they don't hurt people's feelings. But if people share their opinions via rumors and they are incriminating, then that's just rubbish.

But anyway, I think the staff's doing a fine job. The staff won't be able to satisfy everyone, so I think there will always be people who are against this, that and the other, but as long as a majority of the community is happy with how things are ran, then things are fine. I'd suggest that those who are unhappy just talk with the people they have a problem in private to remedy things instead of making a big deal about it. This is a discussion board, not middle school.
 
Why am I here?

A. Because i'm on most all FF forums you can find.. I don't post that often on all of them but I'm registered and made at least one or two post/threads.

B. Because it's a nice place... People like FFIX and there are standardly intelligent conversation about FF-related topics.

C. I'm bored and have no life.
