So, why are you here?

These rumors are being spread that you members are saying the only reasons you stay here are for Bei Bei, that you members hate all the rest staff. There are also rumors being spread of the staff themselves beginning to hate it here such as Mitsuki and Julius are sick of me and the other staff members, all of you members are sick of me, etc...which of course I know isn't true as I speak to them daily whether it be MSN or our staff lounge.

Hmm, as far as I was informed, those are actually Kaos' words...so I choose not to take that as seriously because that is not true at all. And it wasn't that me, Koloth, or Julius were "sick of you or the rest of the staff members", but rather something about us reaching our limit and staying because of Bei Bei. I did not, by any means, say something like that - hence, the confusion between Bei Bei and I. But I already explained that to you on MSN. Just wanted to clear it up here as well. And yes, I admit that some things here can get a little overwhelming, but that doesn't mean we'd go about and throw hissy fits about something. o_O I really don't want to elaborate too much as that is a private matter.

Anyway, I was reading some of the replies here, and I think some of you may have gotten the wrong idea. >_< I really don't think the members here are spreading any rumors at all...it's just that a few of them are being informed by another party that this or that is the case when it comes to staff members, blah blah blah. I don't want any members to think that we are pointing or accusing anyone of spreading rumors, because I am sure that isn't the case at all. It is the work of another who wants to see our site ruined and that we don't appreciate at all.

So with that being said, I've been here for over a year now and even stayed during the whole Darkblade debacle because there were a lot of people I enjoyed posting with, not to mention that this is my very first forum, so it is something that is quite a sentimental value to me. I've joined other forums since then, but I just don't feel that same atmosphere that I am now very much used to here.

EDIT: I refuse to say that I have no life. =P

I do not doubt that this might have been the work of one or two people to begin with. That is normally the case when things like this happen. It may be the voice of one person, but the only reason it ever gets blown out of proportion is because it is a loud one.

But just because it's loud doesn't mean it's right.

Vegeta, Ryvius, and VoN. Come on you guys, you know better than to spam in a non-spamming area. :monster:

Anyways, I haven't heard any of these rumors at all. These two people are just crazy for some reason, and if I'm not mistaken, they both professed to 'leave forever'. So much for that crap.

I'm here because I had a bit of a problem with the way the staff were acting on the forum I used to attend. If you don't like the smell in the bakery, then find another one, and that is what I did.

I stay for the people and I just seem to be a post whore. Theres the obvious - I like Final Fantasy, so those sections keep me interested & Im too bone idle to be on another FF forum, that's why I live here :monster:

I just generally like the place. Iv not heard any of these rumours, and if I have, then I can't remember because my memory sucks. But I make my own opinions of people anyways, so Im not gunna be swayed by someone else

I signed up at 3 different FF forums the same time I signed up here.

This was the most active, and though I clashed with some staff at first, that all got patched up, and I was able to enjoy myself here.

Now that I've got the Corruption RP, I've got even more reason to stay around.

But, my reasons:
No life.
Active forum.
A fair amount of quality-posters with a brain.
And, a good amount of interesting thread topics.

There's my two cents.

Why is it so easy to say "I have no life"? What is the exact definition of "life" or "having a life"? To have something to do, something that would echo through the pages of history? To have a family? Or is it as simple as to breath and being able to share our thoughts in a place like this?

Why do we recur to answers as simplistic as "I have no life"? Is it so wrong to dedicate a small portion of our lives to a place like this for such excuse? Sorry, but I am feeling quite philosophical right now.

XD that's Julius for us....

anyways, I stay here at FFF because I feel like it's a home. Julius invited me here a long time ago, and FFF just kinda grew on me. Now I'm lonely when I can't get on at least once a day. Yeah, I know, I'm gettin all sentimental...XP

It's just, nobody around my school really knows what Final Fantasy and anime are...so I find FFF to be a place where people actually understand me...

Well actually DB invited me....>____>
Anyhow, I really enjoy sharing my thoughts and points of view with so many different people, finding it refreshing to participate in great debates. Though I admit I don't agree with some people, I do find it educating to be able to know and respect their opinions. Because, honestly, we can't agree with everyone, that's how it is to be human.:neomon:

Also, if we agreed on everything...the world would be quite monotonous and boring...>_<

Well, I take it to mean that "having no life" refers to not having much of a social life, if you wish to call Internet browsing and talking to people on Internet forums as not really a social activity. Now if you only spend a little bit of time on the Internet browsing forums, but have an otherwise active social life and meet up with friends more often than you stay on the Internet talking to people there, then when you say you "have a life", it refers to the fact that you are a social person. Not having a life casually refers to people not interested in social gatherings, or meeting up with friends often, most likely because there are better things you enjoy doing, like math, video games, or other hobbies done without other people around. Which is probably why we tend to be most skilled at these things because we spend so much time on them, which other people don't spend the same amount of time on because they spend it on socializing.

I would, however, like to think the time I spend on math that I could have spent on socializing is well worth it, despite the fact that people may classify me as not having a life because of it.

I like making you guys uncomfortable with awkward conversations in the SB. Oddly enough you people seem to get a rise out of it and become deviants >.>, you people are wierd.

And I'll say this about ya LA, you are far too squeamish, bodily fluids are bodily fluids whether they're in you or on the floor. But the first day I was here you were the first I talked to and the first impression was that the staff here were really nice and I could get along here. So pretty much your impression on me was the reason I stayed, not left. So everyone has you to blame for me being around :).

Only person to ever show any rudeness to me was Lady Eterna, I post frequently on Sherdog.com, an MMA forum where some of the biggest jerks come from around the world, and never had anyone there treat me like Eterna did. So pretty much she would be the only con in this forum for me :P. Everyone else is just cheeky.

Yes Savvy, I enjoy heckling the crap out of you with math problems. I would be more than happy to introduce another mathematical proof--if you step out of line.

So, you admit you actually enjoy math. What a surprise. Last time, you were begging for mercy for me to stop explaining my mathematical proof of the (infinite) geometric sum formula.

Need I say more on that?

Uh. heh, I'm here because I have idle hands and tons of free time...well thats why I 'came' here. Now, I'm here for corruption. Irony is her name.

The whole 'no life' thing is just an easy way of saying 'want to interact socially safely'. Social interactions in person come with tons of unwanted feelings whereas online you can adopt a persona.

I tend to be happier with Real life gatherings but when your ride won't go to the parties you gotta bring the parties to you.

Welcome, party!

I LOVE YOU LA!!!

[action=Darkstar]gives LA a biiiiiig hug[/action]

Anywho, why am I here?

Everytime I come here, I find myself laughing at some post, either it be funny, or some nOOb.

I come here because it is really the only place where I can talk and talk and talk and talk about FF.

I come here because the all of the members (except a few) are really nice, and I get along with them all.

I come here because I enjoy it here, and I have fun!
