I know of a song directly based on/dedicated to Final Fantasy. The artist directly commented that it was a tribute to FF (so it is confirmed).

I think it is probably the only one (def. the only one I know of)- think you can guess it? Song & Artist.

The name of the artist, is the last name of the keyboard player (who is french) and the genre is metal/progressive metal/rock.
