Multiple Platforms Sony's got my $700 (Metal Gear Related)

ISO's and such are only illegal if you do not have the original.

Example.
I have a PSX emulator and a FF7 ISO on my PC, but since I have a actual PSX and the actual FF7 game for PSX, it is legal.

I only played the first MGS. I mean I liked it, but I think you're going out on a limb buying a glitchey $700 dollar system for one game. lol.

Wait a min the PS3 now cost $700 damn that must suck i got mines for $600 Lol or are you also including the games and stuff also.

....
The PS3 is still only $600.
Unless you live in Europe where the exchange rate is different and closer to $800 i think. Poor brits.

And technically, Tielknight, you're right and wrong. If you really really read the laws about "emulation" (I can't think of it atm), it says something along the lines that even though you have a cd, that does not mean you have the right to copy another....I can't think. But what you said is what most people use as a defense, so maybe it does work. Cant think.
I'll elaborate in the Media Piracy thread tomorrow.

I have never made a copy of the original disc, all I did was put the ISO on my PC. As long as I do not make copies, It's ok.

And the PS3 might drop in price, not sure. Just a rumor i heard from a friend.

Eh, I got myself a PS3, but oddly, MGS 4 has relatively nothing to do with it. Simply because I absolutely suck at the MGS series.

Great machine the PS3.
