The theme this week was Action. Please remember, while posting isn't necessary to have your vote counted, it is encouraged.

James Bond. Not really a fan of the chap but I like how it looks overall, loving the image chosen ev en if whatshisface Bronson is a bit of a nob. I just think it fits the them really well and it's very nice to look at too :monster:
 
My favourites were 2 and 3 but I voted for 3 in the end.
2 is great but I think the vectors didn't really fit in with the action theme.
3 has great flow and great lighting. What really drew me to it though was the effects. The black shards remind me of broken glass and give the feel of action being caught in a picture.

Well done to all the entrants :)

I like all of them but my vote will go to number 3 for me.

It seems to capture action best. Xiaoyu looks like she's attacking the viewer of the sig, while glass and earth etc are brushed / fly behind her from the power of the move she just did. I think the lighting and colours blend in well too.
 
My vote is going to number 1. Love the image, text and colours. Nicely blended together and it stand out and is eye catching :D
 
I voted for number 2.

I love the detail within the background and the filters used on some of the effects.

Lovely lighting and the pose of the image with the sword in hand looks awesome and feels very actiony. XD

Lovely blending and awesome use of colours too.

...I dunno. The entries didn't blow me away, like they usually do.

I liked this one best. Love the brushes used. 'Action' is displayed nicely I think. The image and colours work really nicely. Simple border to round it off.

This caught my eye right away. Brilliant. Clear, crisp and stylish. Great choice of colors, fantastic effects and blending: it all comes together nicely. I'm not too sure about the blue glow on both hands, but the one below is a nice touch. This suits the theme perfectly too.

Kudos to the maker. :yay:
 
#7 did it for me.

I was contemplating choosing #5, but Xiaoyu's stance just waiting for action caught me by surprise. The colours are well blended in. A definite winner for me! :monster:
