They're both good and both pretty similar (what can you expect from horror, I guess ha), so I wasn't completely sure which to go with. In the end, I went with 1 due to the creature design. I like how the 2nd entry looks like a movie poster though. Nice touch

I went with #2 because I love how badass it looks. XD
My vote goes to #1 .
#1 is a beautiful piece. The lens flares have been used effectively to add some colour and they complement he black and white background. The lightest part of the lens flare matches the light source in the black and white background/render and thus it all feels like one piece. The text is interesting - I like the fact part of Bedtime is missing from the bottom and the use of different fonts/sizes. The clean and crisp white makes the text stand out from the background, drawing the eye in. It doesn't feel separate from the overall piece, however, which could have happened had the text been a different shade/colour.
#2 uses light and colour in an interesting way too. The creator appears to have upped the contrast so that the man at the front is even lighter than the men behind him. I'm not too sure about the red splatters, which are meant to be blood. They are just a little bit too sharp; the main piece is quite soft if you look at it, so the sharp red splatters feel out of place.
