I actually think they're all pretty great (yet again!). I went for 1, since the circles with female characters somehow reminds me of lockets with photos inside. I dunno, it just felt the best to me.

I love how Vivi is barely tall enough to be in the 2nd set though .

I haven't voted in SOTW for a while.

Text can really make or break avatar icons. When I used to try and make them a few years ago, it was trying to execute text decently enough into the small canvass that it doesn't detract from the focus or look really out of place that presents the challenge. So with that in mind, I have gone for #2 , because I feel it has managed to do the best job of nailing it. Plus, I am more drawn to its gentle, warm colour composition, and I love how wee little Vivi is peeking up. xD

Call me a fool for lighting but I'm going with 3. Maybe it's the computer but those are... a beaut!

Went with #2 , the coloring on the cait sith icon is so beautiful

I really like all of these--hard to choose among them, since they're all quite different and likewise each express something different. #1 really somehow captured the era around which FFVII, VIII, and IX were released, #2 is very artsy and clean, but #3 ...I dunno, there's just something about it that's really captivating. Plus Queen, King, and Seven were some of my favorite characters in Type-0--not my main party, but one I turned to quite a lot (Eight usually took the place of Queen for me). So in the end, #3 gets my vote. Great job all

I was torn between 2 and 3, but I ultimately picked 2. I'm keen on the lighting, and actually find Vivi being too short as "fitting".
