All of them are done nicely but five stood out the most with some of the forest setting and then in the upper corner there a glimpse at the temple or a village in the background.

Can I just say thank you first? You guys (both voters and entrants) have no idea how amazing it is to see SOTW shining like this. Legit proud. Keep it up, guys.

1. Gorgeous entry. The black and white look makes it look gritty, and the background was really clever, to me. :lew: It reminds me of the Legenf of Zelda triangle icon. :lew: Love it. Placement makes it look like there's movement going on as well. Great job to the artist. 1 GMV.

2. Another great one, it was between 1 and 2 for me. Extremely beautiful text, really like this kinda stuff personally, so that was a bias to begin with. :lew: The only thing I didn't understand was the white aura around Link. I would've preferred the image all black and white with a splotch of colour, I think. Regardless, it's a beautiful piece and it was hard choosing between this and #1.

4. That blending! Great job. I love a focus foreground (render) where the background is either blurry or, like in this piece, blended very well. The topaz (if that was used) sharpness on Link's face seems a tiny bit too much, but aside from that, gorgeous piece. Ps. Rebelious render rotation, ftw!

5. Another stunning piece. Good choice for the background, the little light orb by the text is a subtle secondary focus. The only thing that didn't work for me on this piece was the shape, I think a standard, bold rectangle would've worked a bit nicer perhaps. That's just matter of opinion, the image itself is very nice.

#3 GMV

↑ This signature really stands out to me as this is pretty much what The Legend Of Zelda means to me. In the spirit of embracing that complete subjectivity, I had to vote for it. Beautiful work!

I've gone for number 5 myself. While the Twilight Princess Link isn't the hero of time (that would be along the OoT/MM timeline) (for shame!), I love the look of the piece completely. The colours are great and the shape is a bit more unique than the usual rectangle.

3 is another standout and considering this Link is a villager who has never left Ordon, he's probably (theoretically) always dreamt of seeing the outside (not that this was said in the game but y'know). I loved the pure colour palette of it :).

(Forgive the crappy explanations...I have no idea what I'm talking about!)

Thanks for all the votes so far, guys. Keep it up! Voting ends Saturday!

#1 gets the nod for me. All of these pieces are absolutely beautiful but I love that black/white color scheme. That's fantastic stuff and gets my eyes

My vote goes to number five this week! I think the background looks really cool and fits in with the render. Overall it looks nice. Dunno what else to say except that it just seems to work xD

Also feel like I should mention number one and three since they're so good too. Haha. I really like the style and cleanness of the third, while the black and white and kinda abstractness of the first is interesting. Though that said, the second one probably would have had my vote if the colours were a bit different. :)

I voted 5. It's just the most complete imo. The colours are great and the text is too.

Congratulations to this week's winner... Galadín!
